  1. Class to see Bjarne Pedersen bow out with another EL title, watched him so much over the years and far from a gating tart. Class rider. well done Pboro and happy retirement Bjarne
  2. Cheerio dont let the door hit you on the way out will ya.
  3. Yeah really thick , its held me back massively in life. Another case of daddy ellis not being able to take some stick about his son , would you like a tissue? A Brit missing a British play off meeting to ride in France is a piss take like it or not and is the reason fans continue to stop going. Since when has riding in France been a priority? seems your boy hasnt gained many new fans at Scunny with him missing vital matches, riding borrowed machinery etc … as said the worst British champ I can remember in my 20 plus years of following the sport.
  4. Another piss take , this time from possibly Britains worst ever national champion. Lob the book at him and give him a 10 meeting ban.
  5. I personally think its shocking how Scunthorpe have announced all this about Allen whilst he is still competing in the play offs for Redcar. Just sums up what a terrible chairman Godfrey really is.
  6. What an absolute farce! Surely this completely defeats the object of a full league season?! When you thought the sport in the UK could sink no lower.
  7. Just seen Harris ride against worrall and kemp on bspa website , absolute class why doesnt he ride this well all season?
  8. Harris always seems to come alive at this time of the season… strange.
  9. Superb stuff , as said before when on song that track as well as Pboro offers just as good racing as you see in Poland. excited for the SON now shame russia are missing
  10. Riss has been pathetic this season , surely Lynn wont want him back? I can however seen Edinburgh snapping him up in the second div on his low average.
  11. Pedersen at reserve isnt too good if hes got the Summers syndrome in his last few meetings, all depends. I would rather Andersen at reserve Tbh
  12. In fairness at Edin I thought he was set for big big things, hes done well since leaving though until this season. Wonder if he will return next year? You do have a knack of getting riders in awful form going well, S Worrall and Sedgmen being two of them.
  13. How is hoping someone gives you a slap threatening you? Your nearly as thick as the people you target on here every week.
  14. Peterborough got laughed at tho and apparently built on a budget, I always thought it looked a good side from day 1. Too much experience not to be. Granted they wont win the league but will go to the final I reckon.
  15. In all honesty I think Crump may of faired a bit better this year without the injuries. He wasnt going bad until he crashed out at Wolves (?). could be a bargain average next year but I would agree, it would be good to see him bow out in one piece.
  16. No, people have a problem because its usually the ones that should be kept that aren’t and vice versa. Lets be honest, Lynn have turned into a shambles of a club at the top level.
  17. Brennan superb , I would agree Kemp has stalled if not gone backwards. Flint is progressing nicely in the Championship, come on a lot this year.
  18. Shovlar again doing himself no favours, got whacked just admit it and move on. Shame someone doesn’t whack Trackrat come to think of it.
  19. Riss really has gone backwards when it looked like he would go on to be a superb rider. Shame.
  20. Fair comment. Blaming Redcar if Brum close next season is ridiculous on their part. The current promotion and management there this year have been dreadful in all honesty.
  21. Birmingham have been a farce this season on the whole but going off some Redcar fans comments anyone would think they have had the perfect club for years on end, have they forgotten they were the laughing stock of the middle tier under Havelock????
  22. Same as quite a few teams too, remember Trelawny with Harris, Zagar , Sanchez, Masters , we had Iversen, Watson, Smart, Atkin , god compare that with what you get now. As said many times, the watering down of the leagues has seen the crowds drop at the same rate.
  23. I remember having a debate with BWitcher on here only a couple of years ago where he was trying to tell me that if you put the likes of Ricky Wells and Kyle Howarth in the second tier twenty years ago, they'd of been the top men. Lol. As said, the second tier looks so strong now because any decent rider has given up on the UK and the top tier has to find its riders from somewhere. Both leagues are in a mess. I think in the early 2000's there was EIGHTEEN teams in the Premier League. A Premier trophy group of 4/5, KO cup ties and a league match home and away vs each team. It was a rare occurrence to have a blank raceday throughout the season except for weather. It was an action packed season. You seen the top riders every week and it was nowhere near as common for riders to be missing. The doubling up system was brought in where an Elite League club could use two Premier League riders to fill one position. It seemed to work pretty well for a while. We have been through how great those days were so many times and no doubt will continue to do so. Sadly, the sport will never go back to those days. Its just dying a slow, painful death.
