Kind of agree. As well as that, he hasn't helped himself with his social media outbursts and antics over the last few years. Probably time to retire before he either injures himself or someone else. Just like riders riding under the influence of booze or drugs, riding whilst suffering mental health issues shouldn't be aloud either.

If Cook is suffering from mental health issues, it is probably time for him to call it a day. Remember him suffering from them before as well. I am no fan of Cook at all but having suffered some mental health problems myself, I wouldn't wish it upon anyone. I'd imagine being on a speedway bike is the last place he should be.

Mental that this side has only just scraped into the play offs. Poor form of Riss and Rew has undoubtedly been the main reason for this, many expected Rew to tear the league apart and he has been disappointing to put it lightly. Riss even worse although could just be coming into some form now. Doyle and Emil have been superb but you'd have to think, should the league format stay similar next year (which is admittedly doubtful with the amount of clubs apparently closing this winter) then only one of them will remain. Way too top heavy using both of them. Still can't see passed Belle Vue to win it this season.

Silly boys. Wonder if both were in Cardiff during the weekend and someone seen something and reported it? Worrall having another test done with an external testing outfit proves nothing, as stated somewhere else cocaine can be out the system in 48 hours and alcohol even less.

It seems the TV coverage has gone downhill since it stopped showing on Sky Sports. Another positive thing those in charge ballsed up!

Bang on, remember Barrie Evans as a 15 year old was meant to be the real deal. Look how that turned out!

Is that a comparison of Flint, Kemp and Brennan now or when they were at Boughen's age? If now, Brennan and Flint are way clear of Kemp.

Very rare that team managers make the signings, May has a very good track record over the last 10 years or so to be fair and its hard to see him choosing the likes of Trigger and Turner if he did have an input. More than likely, two cheap signings made by the promoter to compensate for what was probably an expensive top 4 with Worrall, Barker, Howarth and Gilkes.

Can understand Ellis being replaced as he has been awful this season but Kerr? Makes no sense to me, he has been pretty good hasn't he? It is hard to see Holder and Vissing being much of an improvement isn't it?

Leicester lions 2023 (PREMIERSHIP)
Pinny replied to PhilTheAce's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I think with the huge merry go round of riders this season, that it has to be up there with one of the most ridiculous seasons ever. Harris getting the chop from Leicester, then moaning about it like a child and then guesting for them a month later is absolutely outrageous. It really is no wonder that nobody within the sport takes it seriously anymore. A s**t show of the highest order. -
Rew very overrated imo. Been rubbish for Ipswich this year
-
An absolutely ridiculous rule/loophole but fair play to Glasgow for going for it. Rules are there to be bent as Poole fans well know. whoever decided that assessed averages in both leagues should be the same needs to give their head a wobble. either way, go on the Tigers

Poole v Glasgow 23/8/23 Championship

Is honestly like Poole fans know absolutely zero rules within the sport as theyve bent most of them over the years! Amazing -

She sticks her nose in every topic and makes a twit of herself. Most slate Poole fans as a rule down to Shovlar but he at least can hold a general conversation. This vicky pollard wanna-bee is just another level of stupidness -

It is comical how Poole fans are commenting and complaining after their stunts pulled over the years! -

Id still see your effing nonsense in quotes so its pointless blocking you. Id hardly travel to the otherside of the world just to visit a pub you work in , would be the last place id go. F**k drinking in a pub where lunatics like yourself serve pints. -

That annoying woman from poole really has turned the championship section into a cringeworthy place. Youd think being a busy, stay at home , single mummy shed not find time to spend what must be 12 hours a day on this forum ? shes the worst one of the lot imo. At least can have a laugh with Shovlar although the fact he is still tweeting SCB on twitter is alarming to say the least. -
British Final 2023
Pinny replied to Hackett's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
Doesn't Lawson not get on with Richie Worrall cos Worrall was having a go on Lawsons mrs or something like that when they were both at Glasgow? Good to see Steve Worrall get a wild card, feel like its injuries that have held him back some what . Am no fan of Ellis or his old man but those comments from Hawk are disgusting. -
Youve got Rory Scheiln in your side, do you really expect anything other than a super slick track?! Come on now.

Plymouth Vs Berwick 8/8/23 live BSN
Pinny replied to Cast1rn's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Agree regarding referees having some form of track knowledge . As it stands, they are far too influenced by certain riders and bow down to them. Especially riders who are well passed their sell by date and hanging round for a few final paydays. -
Cant argue with that. one league with a new 5 rider format maybe the way to go .

I disagree. Doubling up started off around 20 years ago when Elite League clubs could use two Premier League riders to share one position. Premier League riders never missed any meetings for their PL club, unless of course they were injured or riding overseas. They then brought in doubling down where two EL riders could share a position in a PL club and its just turned farcical ever since. Ever since those days, the crowd has dropped off alarmingly at most tracks if they are still operating. Look back to 2002/3 ish times on the forum on the archives and see if there is anywhere near as much bitching and moaning about riders being missing as there are now. If a rider missed a meeting back then it was the talk of the month on the forum, now its happening everywhere every week. It is sad to say but the sport in the UK is dying on its knees. Incompetent people running the sport, spineless promoters who refuse to bring their club into the 21st century, riders taking the complete p155. We say it every season but the sport needs a complete revamp in the UK. And also, referring to another poster, the standard of top flight speedway had fallen off a cliff long before the Sky payments ended.

Pathetic scenario. Plymouth should be operating in the third tier, their not a second tier club. If that is true about starting track prep an hour before the start, they should hang their heads in shame. Refunds should be immediately given out on exiting the stadium. Farce of a sport these days sadly, with clubs like this playing a big part in that.
