  1. What does Korneliussen have to do to get a WC? He has been flying this year in the UK. On a track like that, he would definately give the likes of Lindback, Laguta and even Janusz K a good race and score a good 4 or 5. Jensen wont score a point. Terrible decision once again.
  2. What about him? Had no chance of making the pairs last year so showed zero interest!
  3. We have no idea what the criteria for the pairs is. Would it not be a good idea to announce this along with the super 7 dates pre season so we have some idea of whos riding? They simply cannot use rolling averages for this meeting, it must be done on proper averages. If this is the case Newport should get in as Sedgmen is averaging 8.00 and Doyle is about 7.5. I know Sedgmen has only done 3 meetings so far but this shouldnt make a blind bit of difference, Watson was allowed to ride for Glasgow along with Shane Parker in 2007 and actually made his Glasgow debut for them in this meeting, he had been riding in the EL for Poole until this point. And if we were to miss out and there is a wild card place, which I am pretty sure there is, Newport would be the best choice as they have a duo that could challenge for honours AND only being 45 minutes away over the bridge, would bring an extra 50 or so fans over with them.
  4. We have to qualify first, not 100% sure we will make it. But with Doyle being superb around the OTA and Sedgmen in good form and also a rider who rides the OTA well, you'd have to fancy them to do well if they took part although Lanhams come into some form and the two meetings I witnessed at the OTA last year, Somerset Vs Newport in the PT and SBT, Lanham was superb and was passing the likes of Gathercole. You can also rely on a fair few Wasps fans making the trip over if they take part.

  6. So basically Katajisto has got the hump because Makinen was trying his best and passed him? Tough luck, if he's good enough he shouldn't have to rely on his fellow countrymen riding half throttle to stay behind him. All sounds pathetic from Katajisto and proves he has a huge amount of growing up to do.
  7. Iris, I wouldnt bother responding to such a pillock. Just do what I have now done and laugh at his pathetic rants and tell him the Irish Commentator is brilliant and should get a sky sports job.
  8. Good racing at the end, shame about the completely useless commentry we (except manchesterpaul, who was probably playing with himself listening to his voice) had to suffer.
  9. What a pathetic excuse. People pay their money to watch these meetings on tv, the least Premier Sports could do is invest in a commentator who can get riders name right. He is atrocious! I do not claim to be a commentator, its not my job. I am a paying customer watching a meeting with no knowledge of the sport at all trying to commentate. He is probably worse this week than last.
  10. Kolajek Balinski?! This commentator is complete gash.
  11. Superb ride from Jonsson going past both Poles.
  12. Ladyluck is right. If a rider goes through the GP Challenge and qualifys, he deserves his place. I personally cant stand watching pepe, walasek, ulamek, kk etc, but if they get through the qualifiers then they deserve their place. If Harris does not make top 8 next year and no brit gets through the gp challenge, then no brit should be in next year. If harris is given yet another wild card, it will be a bigger farce than the sport already is.
  13. How could they run double headers on a Saturday night though?
  14. Awful commentating, Mellgren giving his all at the back and he says hes not interested!
  15. How come you are watching it now then LL?
  16. Having spoken to Anders Mellgren tonight, he informed me he won the Swedish Under 21 q/f this afternoon. Does anyone have heat by heat results?
  17. Pedersen class tonight and best of all, sorted Gollob out twice, the best being the final where he shoved him up against the back straight fence, superb. I said all winter he would be a man on a mission this year and so it proved, he looked much faster than previous seasons and the aggression is back. Worthy winner tonight.
  18. Eastbourne wont with Pedersen and Kylmarkorpi or maybe Gustaffson.
  19. Iversen was faster than Gollob without a doubt. Cracking race in heat 14.
  20. Not sure how old he is but he rode in the 2001 world u21 final, when Kujawa won it. Iversen should really of done Harris then, and whats up with the world champ?
