Poole tinted specs at its finest. Kerr is well past his sell by date

i guess I must be missing something and there are thousands of invisible people at meetings then? From seeing footage , reports and messages from fans here... you dont need figures to see a crowd is shocking.

Bonkers that people are slating Louis for this. The sport is an absolute mess in the UK and he clearly wants no part of it going forward. Dont blame him one bit. the championship is no better than the top flight. Look at the crowds, they are disgraceful. i started attending speedway in 98, the first five year the standard in both leagues was top , all the top gp riders rode in the top league except one or two and the premier league was full of top stars. Doubling up was never much of an issue as the premier league took preference and the top league team had to have two double uppers to share a spot so fixture clashes very rarely happened. Around 2004 ish they started messing about with grading systems, doubling up became more farcical and both leagues started dropping points limits and the rot set in. I am amazed we still have three tiers of speedway in 2025 but look how many clubs have shut in the last 20 odd years. newport, arena essex, rye house, exeter, trelawny, swindon, reading, newcastle, isle of wight, somerset, pboro, wolves to name a few. There will probably be more. If Louis sticks to his guns then this maybe the huge rocket up the arse that the sport needs.

The problem is he doesn't like to turn up and prefers two day binges to speedway. Even when he does decide to rock up, he is way off what he once was.

Grand Final 2nd leg Ipswich vs Leicester
Pinny replied to Aries's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Drew Kemp is an absolute waste of space. He has history of packing up at the back all the time and throwing his toys out of the pram. i remember there was some knob on here before who boasted about how much money he invested in Kemp. Where is he now to defend such pathetic behaviour? The sport is full of young lads thinking they are the dogs bollocks with their big vans etc but make wallys of themselves on live tv with such weak mentality. he comes across as dull as ditch water in interviews as well. fans pay their money to watch 15 heats of 4 riders trying their best and when you see repeat offenders like him taking the p""s then it needs calling out. -

2025 Torun SON and SON 2
Pinny replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
They have completely ruined the world cup week format. back in the day it was a brilliant spectacle , even if the racing was gate and go it was still exciting and well attended. this new format is absolutely pathetic. why oh why do they change things that arent broken but any thing broken they do nothing about? -

Glasgow vs Poole KOC SF 2nd leg 7/9/25 NOW: 23/9/25

To think back , we used to take the likes of Stead, Allen, Neath etc for granted. They would clean up in this eras standard of riders. It reminds me of a few years ago when a poster called Bwitcher who used to post about 300 posts a day and was never wrong about a thing, tried telling me the 90s and early 00s era of PL riders like Stoney, Wilson, Carr, Watson, Stancl, Pickering etc would be out averaged by riders like Howarth, Wells, Jorgensen etc lol. Absolute garbage, the old era of PL riders would clean up with this current standard of riders. -

Silly how anyone thinks losing Lawson for Jeppesen isn't a disadvantage. Lawson especially the second half of the season has been different class for Poole and the top rider in the league. Regardless of a previous score at Glasgow (how often do away riders match successive scores at tracks), losing the leagues number 1 to be replaced by Berwicks third heatleader is a disadvantage. Would Lawson of scored more than 9 from 5? Almost certainly. Still a great effort from Jeppesen and will be in demand next season. Was hoping Glasgow went through to be honest, can't stand Poole these days with knobends like Shovlar spouting nonsense all the time. Only have to read the absolute crap he comes out with about football to know he is clueless. Clubs also need to seriously be punished for signing part time riders now as well. Nagel, Klindt and Knudsen in particular have all taken the absolute p""s this season and if the clubs know about these clashes before signing then they should be fined. Considering how little meetings there are these days , its a joke that riders are turning up for only 50 percent of meetings. -

Not good enough from BVs top two. Both Emil and Doyle arent what they were but Doyle has rolled back the years lately. Emil is way off it though and has been all season. -
This Glasgow side with Nagels will walk the league. Shame he misses so many meetings , but thats par for the course these days with riders. Riders just ride here there and everywhere when it suits them. After spending some time in the doldrums after the 2011 league title win, its great to see Glasgow back up near the top the last few years though. Scotlands finest.

Starke proving again why he was a better option than keeping Foord this season despite what people have said.
