  1. Tell us more please, what are you credentials ? Nobody is stirring anything, i have been a supporter of Speedway in Berwick since day one, through our first stint at Shielfield to Berrington Lough and back to Shielfield, including our nomadic time at Barrow, I have through all that time given my services free of charge in helping in just about every aspect of running Speedway. I have seen first hand what it takes to put the show on. It must be the most thankless task in the world bearing in mind the people that do it give up hours and hours of their private / family time voluntarilly only for people to slag them off. We have at Berwick probably the friendliest and most pro active and most approachable owners / management in the sport, So instead of moaning on an internet forum about these things, go and speak to any one of them and tell them your concerns or better still offer your advice and help or just talk to them and ask why things are done in a certain way. They, more than anyone want Speedway and especialy Bewick Speedway to be succesful and survive well into the future, or they would not be there now
  2. The saviour of Speedway has arrived !!! Every track in the country, i an sure would love to speak to you as a person who knows everything about presentation and track preperation
  3. Thanks for the report Chopper, much appreciated, and well done Robert Branford
  4. Say's who, Nicki says there's no problem, why do people seem to enjoy being all doom and gloom
  5. Could Ty Proctor be riding for Wolves on the 2nd ?
  6. I know they tried for Somerset friday Plymouth Saturday but could not be done
  7. At the forum in the Black & Gold before Christmas when the team was announced, Ian Rae explained that the reason Albin wasn't signed was because with Seb Alden not returning, the team would not have as much top end fire power and it was felt it was more important to get the balance of the team right without taking any risks, good luck to Albin and Sheffield anyway
  8. The sad thing about your statement is,------------------------- you could be right
  9. Can you expand on, or even translate the above comment into something that resembles a modicum of common sense please ?
  10. You, are making too many funny little comments, I feel you may just be a little bit more informed than you would want us all to believe. Yes ?
  11. Do you perhaps know something of some interest ? I smell a rat !!
  12. If they want to ride in the Premier League, I think it's Sheffield or bust, there are not too many places available now !
  13. I've got to say I'm surprised at Max Fricke going to the Monarchs. If I was a Tigers fan I think I'd be a tad hacked off bearing in mind that your new team manager was in fact Max and his Dad's host last year in the UK and was acting as his agent touting him around the northern tracks and has now watched go to your nearest and dearest
  14. Having spoken to one of the club owners yesterday i can confirm that you are talking your usual load of crap, they are still in talks but a long way from anything being confirmed, and they are still exploring every avenue FACT!
  15. Or Berwick reject Dave Peet if you want to add to the doom and gloom
  16. Eeehhhhhh, Sod off you lot, we'll just leave the Speedway in Berwick thank you very much
  17. Scottish Football Association, their standards get higher every year for the lower division clubs, but on the plus side they do hand out hefty grants to help with ground improvements
  18. Did they not say they would announce the last rider when the necessary paper work was finalised ? If so then I can't see it being a Brit ! I may be wrong but i think it looks More likely te be a foreigner getting his average confirmed or assessed or reassessed or an Australian waiting on his patriality confirmed
  19. It was to be a 2 legged event, and i didn't see any rider refusing to ride !
  20. We lost our No1 that night, thats fact and for what purpose? Injuries are part of the Sport though What purpose ? To give the riders an extra pay night, which they are always happy to accept and to give the paying public their chosen entertainment Absolute classic many a true word spoken in jest
  21. Here we go again, track experts crawling out of their holes again, as Ian Rae stated on friday night at the forum, unless you actually sit on a bike and ride the track you havn't got a clue what your talking about
