  1. See my post #496. I had a chat with one of the management at the end of the season and he explain that they have enquired about these and other continental riders, but all the U 21 riders will not commit to any where near a full season in the UK
  2. Yes we do. For riders gaining an average in the Prem for the first after moving up from the National League. Your own Lewis Kerr will qualify for a 2.5 % reduction for the next 3 years. I thought YOU would have known that.
  3. Who would miss half the season with World U21 team and individual, European championships etc etc etc.
  4. Alex Davies said on Facebook he was looking for a team place for next year
  5. If you get Zager as it say's in the Nicholls report, then Cook would not fit if my sums are correct
  6. Would he not miss a lot of meetings due to Longtrack ?
  7. Being British Liam Carr IS a Berwick asset now, as he signed a contract this season, it's only foreigners that have to compete in the requisite amount of meetings to become an asset
  8. I think you should both read the interview again. Ian Rae did not say that Liam wasn't ready for PL, what he said was that with Liam still being at school, he wasn't sure if he was ready for full time PL
  9. Only applies to Polish riders, unless they ride on Uk Licence and commit to every british fixture. As Poland use a squad system this can be done
  10. Yeah, very entertaining around Shielfield, as long as he wasn't partnered with Kozza haha
  11. Any promotor signing a rider who has not ridden in the UK for over three years would be extremely foolish not to get the said riders average confirmed, having said that, I think it would have been more sensible to have the figure confirmed before signing the rider
  12. Nothing sinister at all if you read the rule book, any rider who has not ridden in this country for three years can have his average reassessed. However it may go up or down. Better they find out now rather than sign more riders then discover the figures don't add up
  13. Abssoloutly brilliant sum raised for Ricky, 15k raised in one night is a marvelous amount, and full credit to Berwick and Sheffield Speedway clubs, brilliant sponsors, generous supporters, all riders and every one who gave up their time free of charge to support this very worthy cause for such a top guy. Get well soon Ricky
  14. Is there anything the club does that DOES please you ? The press release obviously did work as it made you comment on it ! It was noticed and read, Job done !
  15. I don't know who you are, how old you are or any other thing about you, but what i do know is for some reason you either have a serious chip on your shoulder with all things Berwick Speedway or you are very very immature and still waiting to grow up !
