Being British Liam Carr IS a Berwick asset now, as he signed a contract this season, it's only foreigners that have to compete in the requisite amount of meetings to become an asset

I think you should both read the interview again. Ian Rae did not say that Liam wasn't ready for PL, what he said was that with Liam still being at school, he wasn't sure if he was ready for full time PL

Only applies to Polish riders, unless they ride on Uk Licence and commit to every british fixture. As Poland use a squad system this can be done

Any promotor signing a rider who has not ridden in the UK for over three years would be extremely foolish not to get the said riders average confirmed, having said that, I think it would have been more sensible to have the figure confirmed before signing the rider

Nothing sinister at all if you read the rule book, any rider who has not ridden in this country for three years can have his average reassessed. However it may go up or down. Better they find out now rather than sign more riders then discover the figures don't add up
