Looking forward to getting my copy later, I love stats! About time more focus was put on stats IMO. They could have saved a lot of number crunching though, and instead just put a big photo of Lewis Kerr pulling a wheelie on the front cover : ) -

Not on Bet365 then, thanks for checking. Looks like another night of hitting refresh on the updates and on my twitter timeline. Seems like a few Stars fans are making the trip down, IF we make the play-offs and face Poole, I'm sure a load more of Stars fans would make the trek down to Dorset from Norfolk. -

Shouldn't award all three points to a home team IF the meeting doesn't run its full course. -

'We're going to give it another half an hour' the PA said.......the riders all went and got changed! Pretty obvious outcome in the end. Sometimes we (and I include myself here) should take notice of the forecasts!!!! -
My Top 10 Riders On Current Form

Guess it depends on what track you've seen riders perform at. For me, the best opposition rider at the Norfolk Arena this year has been Matej Zagar who also impressed me when I went to Leicester. Away from home, I was impressed with Piotr Pawlicki versus the Stars who seems to have mastered Monmore after about a month of the season! -

Well Done Robert Lambert on obtaining his first official Elite League average of 5.33! 10 race wins already this season too. -
Just imagine if we had have had Lambert at 6 and Kerr at 7?!? I think the BSF would be in meltdown! The gamble (albeit a gamble which most teams would have taken) was on Lambert on a 3 pt average in the 1-5, as that allowed us to go big on 3 top heat leaders. As many of said, it's just good team building and Rob and Buster look to have got it spot on. Just waiting for the usual mid-season rider roundabout shuffle at other teams to kick in where somehow some team will end up with a SGP wildcard rider in one of the reserve slots as in previous years : ) LOL

Personally I can see Kerr in the main body of the Stars line up in 2015, on his converted PL average of around 3.80 Other riders could do the same if they like, and if they don't have a PL average, they can come into the main 1-5 on a 3.00 average like young Lambert did. I hope the FTD system carries on for at least next season.

I could not agree more. So many positives to come out of the meeting last night. Rory was superb and I think could have really mixed it in heat 15 had Tai not been slowing him down for 2 laps. But the real plus for me was Lambert, Porsing and Kerr. There was a lot of nervousness at the start of the season about how top heavy our line up looked, and would our second string be able to cope with riding against riders with 5.00 – 6.00 averages. Well, last night again showed me that we have nothing to worry about! I think Poole’s 1-5 is up there with anything in the league, and the fact that we matched them in a meeting where our top two had tough nights can only be good for the future. As for Kerr, what a talent he is and he’s got pretty decent elbows too when it’s tight at the start. Onwards and upwards Stars and well done Poole for an enjoyable meeting.

Now then, this is what the EL is all about. Two top teams on a top race track. I hope Lynn will win, I think they will, but it's going to be a squeaker without KB and Rose. So come on pessimists/realists/optimists/whatever! let's get down to the Norfolk Arena and make a lot of NOISE so our boys KNOW we are behind them 100%, after Monday night they certainly deserve it.
