Ah this years fan zone. Made the trek down nice and early looking forward to the biggest and best fanzone yet. Maybe I should address this question to Phil Rising What exactly was there this year that hasn't been there previously. Nothing except a couple more burger vans ?. This year only lasted 15 minutes as there was absolutely nothing to see,was worried that when I arrived at 11.15 there were people walking the other way. If the Fanzone is not going to be freshened up every year I don't really see the point. Bigger and Better than ever # propaganda .

Maybe if everyone of all ages has heard the word and no one was offended , maybe Tai should just carry on swearing live on TV on a Saturday at 7.45. Like his tattoos and ear discs he probably thinks its edgy ,dangerous and cool. Well its not its crass .Its the 2nd time he's done it deliberately live on air and it doesn't do the sport, BSI,,BT sport or the sponsors any favours,

Agree fans want to see riders busting a gut to win. Winning at Cardiff is huge,as anybody who has won.will tell you,who would not want to win their home GP. 10 points may be great but if Greg scores 12 what has been achieved ?

Sorry the atmosphere and the smell disappeared from the sport many moons ago

The hardcore will always go(some tracks are down to that now) but attendances in British speedway at present are probably as low as they have ever been,particularly when the sport is live on TV as per last nights minuscule crowd confirms

Can't say I've ever seen or met anyone from Wales who goes to the speedway at Cardiff let alone sings the national anthem

Think Joe Screen, Carl Stonehewer, Sean Wilson and Steve Johnston used to a regular post match forum in the bar after every meeting but I believe they were unoficial

Maybe this is something else that's changed in speedway,people arrive later and leave earlier. Not so long ago there would be as many people who would stop for the victory parade as we get through the turnstiles in total now. After a top meeting with a hard fought win people wanted to hear all of the riders interviewed and to give the boys an extra round of applause .The riders would then walk back to the pits to applause high fiveing all the kids. Now once heat 15 is finished 75% of the crowd shuffle out immediately. Sad really !
