  1. Not bad tonight from the guy who wouldn't figure in the World Championship shake up in your opinion. Steve are you the only person who does not rate Emil as one of the World,s best ?
  2. Sorry Tim, If you had read my posts on the other Tai Woffinden thread you would know we are exactly in the same place,ie not in the gutter. Ive consistently criticised Woffinden over his actions in front of 40 thousand people and the watching audience live on TV at 7.45 on a Saturday night. But every time I do "the Woffinden can do as he wants because he is the champ" brigade jump all over me saying its just how people now speak in the modern World and to keep up. Sorry but it was a sarcastic mickey take at their expense , definitely not a dig at your post. I think most people are on the same page but a vocal minority try and jump on them when they dare to criticise the World Champion and pass it off as a nothing.
  3. Unlike you I post with nothing to contribute. You keep up your pointless schoolgirl squabble with Robert72 if you makes you feel good. Rather post opinions on a subject that matters
  4. No flak people should be proud of what Great Britain represents
  5. Don't know why people are so easily offended these days. That language is the norm for how most young people speak.Heard worse language in a Primary school playground. Get in the real World !
  6. Think its Great Britain riding not England
  7. Agree, our best rider Woffinden has yet to do a lap at the track
  8. Its also hard to discount Chris Harris's performance in previous World Cup's. He has a habit of riding above his current form in World Cup week. Don't envy Rosco as if we finish last he will have been deemed to have picked the wrong team
  9. As much as Steve Worrall has made progress this year and is a Belle Vue rider he will not be in World Cup starting 4. From what the Star say its Tai,King,Lambert nailed on and either Cook or Harris for spot 4
  10. Look around the eyes not into the eyes " No you are in the wrong ,the meeting was abandoned without a race being run " And your back in the room ! The opening night never happened. The riders bottled it just like Warsaw. NSS on opening night and Warsaw brought change and,for the better.
  11. That old chestnut again. Your promoter David Gordon said the track was unfit on opening night., Is that not good enough for you ? If it helps being in denial then carry on. Sure your track in Manchester is very good but don't forget the past when you aim criticism at others. .From what I remember you were very sensitive to any criticism only a few months ago.
  12. I know everything is honkey dorey at Belle Vue but after the National Speedway Stadium's start to the season its a bit rich criticising a track which for the last 9 years has either won or been nominated for the track of the year.. 3 of the falls were genuine racing incidents (which the ref got 2 exclusions wrong). The wobbling was from riders who shouldn't be in the Elite League.
  13. Really hope the Russians don't miss out on Manchester. One of the main reasons Ive booked race off and final is to see Emil and the Lagutta's mixing it with the World's best No disrespect to the Czech's but not having the Russians in the race off will lesson the event
  14. The track is well prepared but away sides chase the dirt wide early on and don't realise that 90 % of the passes at Monmore these days are up the inside.. 100 % last night
  15. Not made it down again Steve. How can something that promised so much deliver so little. Swindon absolute dross, resembled a Premier / National league side taking on an Elite League side who tracked a reserve in the majority of heats. As for the racing, Non Applicable ,The Swindon riders even the likes of Doyle couldn't lay a glove on any Wolves rider including the Wolves reserves when they made a start. Surprisingly not a good crowd for a first vs third on a warm sunny evening. Although the Centre Green presenter said the terraces were packed. Think he meant " the terrace" and it was actually half full.if he took his rose tinted glasses off
  16. That's a pretty straight down the line statement which I'm sure is shared by many on here. Similarly I have great respect for Tai's speedway achievements but cannot have this 'role model' status. A role model is not just about your success you achieve but unfortunately how you act, live your life and even look You are someone who a young person would want to follow in every aspect of their life. Unfortunately for you Blackadder you are probably in Bwitchers "bigot" category for saying what a lot of reasonable people think
  17. Granted you are correct but nobody put the likes of messers Carter , Lee and Havelock as role models.
  18. Bwitcher in another heated argument on the British Speedway Forum. You should borrow Ballateli's "Why always me " T shirt
