When I tell people at work that I go to watch the Speedway at Leicester quite a few of them say they used to go to watch in the Blackbird Road days and suggest they might take a meeting in.......my response has always been to say "don't bother until they alter the track"........that's potential punters put off going......now if other supporters are saying the same thing that's hardly going to bring in more fans is it? Listen to the fans(customers).It's a National laughing stock! CHANGE THE BLOODY TRACK BEFORE ITS TOO LATE!.

We go in hope rather than expectation! For somebody who's son rides speedway you really know nothing about the sport!

I still maintain that the good riders will always come through whatever the system. I just don't think that the draft system should be used in the so called "Elite" League. I as a paying "customer" absolutely hate having this system forced on the punters.....I don't care that reserves should be British,why should I? What I want are competitive reserves not where they come from.

Not enjoying the "Elite?" League at all. Too many guests! Most teams are hybrid Premier/National League level with 1 or possibly 2 riders who can genuinely be called "Elite"! The ridiculous Draft System...what that all about?....The cream will always rise to the top....most of the lads hogging the reserve berths will never be much better than they are now! "Racing" no better than previous seasons(I know that's down to the crap track)! I would definitely have rather stayed in the Premier.......far better product!

It's raining here in Leicestershire quite heavy at the moment Apparently rain should ease in the late afternoon.

Tom Perry written this on the Leicester Facebook page. "It's ridiculous these comments, saying I got dropped because I didn't ride on Monday, it was a bad snap to the collorbone, I didn't want to risk trying it out for Leicester in the elite league that's why I waited to try at the national league meeting. I have scored consistantly every meeting and feel like I did my job. So many key board warriors. People slag you off when you try your best and spend all that money. You think I would turn up to run a last place. Some people need to get there facts right. I wasn't slowing to return. It's my job so why would I delay returning back to work?"

I can't see any benefit in the fast track system at all.......it's just the same riders beating the same riders they face in the Premier and National leagues....how can that "improve" riders. Take Kings Lynn for example they have won 12 out of 13 matches.......have Kings Lynn got a better 1-5 than most other teams,I would say no,the simple fact they are winning is due to the ringers at reserve,Kerr is a 7 point rider in the premier league and he was last season too........is that fair. If I had my way only 1 rider would be a draft reserve,riding at no7 and 21 years old and under and the Premier League to do likewise.

What happens with the current draft riders at the end of the present season.....surely the likes of Blackbird,Kerr and Steve Worrall won't be allowed another season in the reserve berths...how could that be fair on the other teams. I can see those riders only getting Premier League places next season........hopefully!

Good grief,what you considered to be crap racing would be manna from heaven at Leicester believe me..........more passing tonight than we see all season at Beaumont Park!

I agree that they picked poorly....but we are lumbered with these guys all season,no disrespect to the riders involved as I'm sure they will be decent riders in the future but Leicester currently are trying to compete with one arm behind their back.If this same system is in place next season I certainly won't be renewing my season ticket.

Great this fast track system is... Eastbournes reserves 17 paid 21 Leicesters reserves 1 point between them. What a farce,how possibly can this be fair.

Yes I would have both those tracks in preference to Beaumont Park......the racing is far closer.

pity we've got the worst track in the country.

can't see Leicester getting to the play offs let alone winning it............the reserves don't score enough!

Hope you're right......just been looking at his scores on speedwayresults.com, very rarely scores under double figures in the top polish and Swedish leagues.

They tried using them during the first season.......didn't last too long.....bit of an ugly bunch from what I can remember.
