Just Got Back From Rome.........

I am a little bit more choosy of my friends than to ever consider a sewer rat like bfd as one of them -

RIP? More like RIH. Rot in hell to the scumbag. The only sad thing about his death is that is wasn't slow and lingering leaving him to die squirming in agony -
I would make any facility to cover an injury/sickness/compassionate leave absence of any kind to be a minimum 2 weeks, no matter what. It would stop clubs manipulating horses for courses tactics. After that time if a rider has managed to complete 2 or more meetings abroad but is still somehow unfit to ride here then no facility at all

Oh I don't know, as an Aces fan I would say it worked pretty well!!!!

Speedway Is Too Good For This...

Wilipedia can be a source of reference but never to be taken as gospel without further research. It is in effect all amateur and not something a govering body should be assiciating itself with. The kind of information that such organisations could contribute could be part of their own specialist website -

Absolutely not. Wikipedia is often littered with errors, by the nature of how it is produced. Under no circumstances should a governing body be seen to have an input. -
That is 2015

hmmm. Unless something untoward happens to the old stadium in the meantime -

Presumably someone from on here saw this thread and made the amendment. We don't want UK Martin put to any trouble do we, far easier to just complain no one has done something that you could easily do yourself -
The council don't own it, the GRA do, or rather the Irish banks do

Because someone with an interest in cyclo cross has listed it rather than go on a forum to moan it is not there -
Maybe we should get your patio dug up!!!!

I am a bit worried about Ian tbh. We are a few pages of slight differences of opinion and no sign of a pompous "can't we all just get along" type post. Is it too soon to get missing persons involved

What does wikipedia have to do with the FIM/BSI. It is simply updated by joe public. Get yourself made a wikipedia contributor and do it yourself. It isn't any sort of official site -
Not been following the thread, I was simply responding to the mention of Tai scoring 18 at Gorzow in 2014. Tai has ridden in GPs at Gorzow twice 12 points in 2013 and 18 points this year
-
Tai didn't ride at Gorzow in 2014. He withdrew after practice struggling with a hand injury.

How Many El Teams In 2016?

Have you any concept of what the BSPA actually is ? -
Would't suit the long game though John. The stadium need to lie idle and become decrepit to justify that, as a sports facility it is no longer viable. Then the council will overturn its restrictions on use of land and grant planning permission turning it from a virtually worthless piece of land into one worth millions. It is how these things play out over and over

A saving of a little over 1% for paying so much in advance and assuming you don't take a holiday or get ill and have to miss a match doesn't seem bad to you !!! Jesus I would love some customers like you -
Swindon 2016 - A New Era Starts...we Thought..
oldace replied to dump that clutch's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
But to be fair, councils are put in difficult positions. After the vandals/fire etc they are often left with an eyesore piece of derelict land. It is alright having PP for a stadium but with no one to pony up the readies it doesn't get built and in the meantime the land becomes more of a mess or travellers get on it etc. Ultimately the only option is to allow the land to be developed as was pretty much the case at those two venues -
I know, I was trying to be nice to her. Thing is I have had scores of complaints about that post from slightly backward 10 year olds who object to being put on a level with her

Thats is usually when the mysterious fire happens rendering the site unsafe and having to be demolished. GI can play the long game and no matter what covenents are on the land will likely win in the end -

It is simply the game that has to be played to get rid of the stadium and get houses everywhere. Sadly planning committees fall for it everytime (Reading/Long Eaton/Cradley etc) There will have always been no intention of a stadium being built -
Yep and long may it continue, if it were not for the GP there would be zero of any interest speedway wise in Britain
-
But I expect there is more to the promotion of a GP that opening the gates and praying but it does pretty much sum up Elite League speedway
