  1. he appears to be 8 years younger so more likely to be his brother!
  2. As a Rye fan i feel for comets fans, Derwent park was the only pl track i didn't get to with Rye - hopefully you will ride again in 2020 (unlike us until certain people sell up)
  3. Kasper, Mellgren, Morley,Boxall,Bowen unless the latter 3 are Len Silver assets but as far as I know they are Rye owned.
  4. A more typical Rye team will be Kennett Robson NBJ Mellgren Lykke Boxall 3 pointer or if no 3 pointer rule Morley and 1 of 3 above replaced by Branford!
  5. rearranged for monday 19th september - neither team can make playoffs so what is the rush to schedule on a off night?
  6. Masters only guesting because the meeting at Sheffield was rearranged so Lakeside had priority on Edd Kennett's services.
  7. Good to see plymouth back in action, well done to Edward on another maximum.
  8. No ,Boxall 6.16 and karger plus points below limit = 6.04
  9. Hopefully whoever takes charge of track prep will sort that out so its less of an issue - with Len gone that should happen.
  10. If the 5 riders I'm guessing are correct then there is 7.56 available for the 2 remaining riders!!
  11. The return of one of my all favorite riders makes me fell strange to say the least! Should guarantee a decent reserve all year if (big if) they all stay fit.
  12. Thanks to 'uncle' Len the teams that he put together in the mid to late 00's meant I became a speedway enthusiast and although the last few years haven't been great its sad to see him almost sneak out the back door but hopefully this will be the start of a brighter era at Rye as the past 3 or so years haven't been much fun!!
  13. Very noticeable last night other than running the tractor round the track a few time how low key Len was last night, it was very Steve Jenson and team BMR's show last night and even the programme was without Len's lines.
