  1. Good to see Mitchell continuing his good form with a maximum tonight for stoke.
  2. We done well to stay in it after once again a poor start to the meeting. Hopefully this doesn't continue to become a problem. Thought heat 8 was poor decision looked like campton realised he wasn't getting over the top of them of gate 4 and just put it down. Expected slightly better from mark and Ricky but a fantastic performance from Mitchell at reserve was unlucky not to have two race wins as was winning heat 8 as well until it came to a vault. Williamson impressed for the comets might no have been overly quick but was sharp out the gate and rode a good line.
  3. Don't think we'll get anything from this but you never know. Think comets to win this by 12.
  4. Solid performance from the team even with Erik and Josh struggling a bit. Very impressed with Ashley Morris last night sharp out the gate and no slouch either, deserved his heat 15. Max Clegg with ride of the night in heat 11 take a bow.
  5. Well he was meant to be. Seems the BSPA have changed their mind last minute. Thomas Jorgensen takes his place
  6. The Newcastle diamonds the visitors this week, were we will be looking to put another 3 points on the board. Little changed in the riding order again with Mark Riss going to 2 and josh going to 4. The diamonds will be without Robert lambert and his place is taken by Aaron Summers. Newcastle will be no pushovers with their top 4 all capable of Winning races and backed up by former monarch in Morris. Can see us winning this one by 10. Teams for Friday: Edinburgh 1. Ricky Wells 2 Mark Riss 3. Erik Riss 4. Josh Pickering 5. Sam Masters 6. Max Clegg 7. Mitchell Davey Newcastle 1. Aaron Summers (G) 2. Ashley Morris 3. Lewis Rose 4. Ludvig Lindgren 5. Stevie Worrall 6. Ben Hopwood 7. Connor Coles
  7. Cracking result shame we couldn't hold on for the win. Different class from max Clegg just what he needed. Hopefully that's him back to his old self now. Hope josh isn't to banged up after his crash.
  8. Every team does it. Making a big deal out of nothing.
  9. Somewhere I think we can keep it close and get a point. Couple of changes in our riding order however. Ricky goes to number 1 Sam to 5. With mark Riss going to 4 and Max Clegg going to number 6. Ben hopwood making his debut at reserve for the diamonds in this one also.
  10. Pickering fell when on a 4-2 in heat 1. Wells chain came off at the start in his 3rd ride after winning his first 2 easily. The result could of went either way.
  11. Taking nothing away from Glasgow they deserved their 2 points last night they scored solid throughout the side and rode well. The track this year however has been different compared to any other year it's far to slick this year. even the race times this year are 1/2 seconds slower than previous years. Cause he fell off it.
  12. A draw a fair result. It seem just now and hearing from a few of the boys that they feel like they have no home track advantage at the moment and it's to easy for the away sides at the moment to ride with it being so slick. Hopefully the track staff can address the problems that have been brought up and get the track back to it's normal standard of racing.
  13. Anyway onto the actual meeting. With us not performing at our best at the moment can see Glasgow getting a point. All depends what summers and bewley turns up for the tigers. That will decide how many league points they leave the dale with.
  14. Every home track has it's advantages for the home boys plus set ups so what's your point.
  15. Not at all just have no interest in debating with yourself.
  16. That's it it's our home track that's won us all they trophies we'll just forget all they away wins and points we've got on the road. Never mind.
  17. It's just a small seated area mainly aimed at familys. It's right at the entrance to the 3rd bend so your home comforts are safe.
  18. Cracking result for the boys. Shame we had such a weak side or we more than likely would of been coming away with a victory. Anyway it's another point on the board.
  19. Just our luck the German meeting the Riss brothers were supposed to be riding in has been rained off. Fantastic
  20. The records and stats over the recent years would state otherwise, but whatever floats your boat.
  21. Steve didn't have one bike. He bent his first first one and had to jump on his second that wasn't really set up for Armadale hence why he struggled. Wouldn't say we were fantastic again tonight but a lot better than last week and we'll need to better next Friday or we could be on the end of a defeat.
  22. Probably the best time to be facing us at the moment after two dodgy performances last friday and saturday. To add to that our star man at the moment Mark Riss won't be there as he is away at a GP qualifier and Berwicks Dany Gappmaier will replace him. Also not to sure if Josh will be riding either as we will make a late decision if he will ride or not after breaking 2 fingers at Glasgow on Saturday night. If not fit R/R will be used, which will weaken us even further. The comets will be without Craig Cook who is also away on GP qualifier duty and his place will be taken by one of the stars of our treble winning side in Steve Worrall. Could go either way this one but hopefully we can do enough to secure the win. Teams for friday: Edinburgh Sam Masters Josh Pickering or R/R Erik Riss Max Clegg Ricky Wells Dany Gappmaier (G) Mitchell Davey Workington Steve Worrall (G) Mason Campton Ty Proctor Adam Roynon Thomas Jorgensen Matt Williamson Rob Shuttleworth
  23. Nothing wrong with track conditions we were just hopeless. My only criticism is it's still a bit one lined and unless you move off it or make a mistake it's still very difficult to pass. Not that we were going to do any passing anyway mind you.
