Hopefully no more rain as long as the forecast is correct. Don’t think I could take watching another mud bath this week. -
Edinburgh vs Middlesbrough 12/07
Mr Blobby replied to szkocjasid's topic in National League Speedway
Cracking nights racing and big home win for the academy. Connor was brilliant, fast out the gate but actually had the speed on track too, looked smooth which was good to see. Mason Watson was also good value for money but Max Perry just pips him for the entertainment award with some fantastic race craft making some great passes. Shame more fans don’t go to the academy matches as they’ve been very entertaining. -

Young lad from Finland bit on the wild side, great to watch though. -

Track should be good once it settles. Major event and got a crowd like it’s a colts meeting that’s on. -
Be basically like for like. Might score more than Connor away from home at some tracks but can’t get round Armadale to save himself.

No thanks.

Glasgows season is effectively done getting Ivacic in now few meeting under the belt with an eye for next year already. Ace part of the numbers game.

Poole v Edinburgh Weds 3rd July 2024.
Mr Blobby replied to SteveLyric2's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I’d go with on the road probably scores most of his points by only beating reserves and probably struggles to beat his counter part when at number 3 or the oppositions second strings. However since Tuesday he seems more aggressive on track and having spoken to he agrees it is a weakness of his not being hard enough on riders on track, which he has admitted is trying to do. -

Still defeated by effectively a 2 man team from being 8 ahead after 11 heats which I’m sure you’ll agree isn’t good enough. Thankfully the racing this year has been quite good at Armadale cause the results certainly haven’t. -

No idea what to say about this lot anymore. Most inconsistent side I’ve ever watched. Can never get all 7 going at once. King should never be scoring a max round Armadale and wright only dropping one point as well should never be happening. Roll in 2025 can’t be worse than this year anyway. -

Cook gone from a rider who used to be a hard charger and loved sticking in the dirt to a slick track kerb crawler. Sad to see. -

We’re extremely frustrating. Get beat easily home and away to Plymouth and now twice scored 40 at Poole, with Pickering having a stinker with 3 points. Probably would’ve won if he had a normal meeting. -

He is, but they just roll back and sit at the back of the rut anyway the twins being the biggest culprits of it and getting away with it as well. -

Can’t see anything but a home win. Purely down to the fact we’ll take a hammering at reserve that the top 5 won’t be able to cover. -

I do get where you’re coming from, there’s turning left and then there’s turning left if you know what I mean which is what lasse seen red about. Takes a bit to get to lasse as he’s a very chilled and laid back guy. Same could also be said about lambert’s mechanic and the plonker in the hi-vis jacket. However it’s speedway we move on and go again. -

The two unnecessary left turns on the straights not enough? 16/17 doesn’t matter, moves like that are what causes accidents.
