  1. Unfortunately it’s looking that way but isn’t as far behind on that one.
  2. He’s a lot quicker on the BVE engine, should’ve started on it especially after his recent performances on it.
  3. Cook on a different engine to what he won the GP qualifier and scored max in Poland on, looks like he’s on PJR tonight for some reason.
  4. Some decent racing last night, will take the win even if it’s only by 2 as I wasn’t expecting it. Ricky, Erik and mark were looking fast, joel had a few good rides also, josh is possibly the worst gater I’ve ever seen someone really has to help him with that. Garcia had one decent ride and don’t know what’s going on with max just now made a couple of starts last night but seems to be riding all the wrong lines.
  5. http://edinburghmonarchs.co/news-centre/article/2018-05-22/matt-bows-out-for-now So Matt has decided to step down from the sport for just now, wish him all the best. Interesting to see what we do now, like for like or make another change along with it.
  6. Take the point but feel a little disappointed we never left with more, maybe one day all 7 will ride to their capabilities at the same time.
  7. We’re a Work in progress, just a bit of friendly banter, would fully expect the same if it was us on the receiving end of s pumping at home.
  8. Decent line up, hopefully we’ll be in for good meeting like last week.
  9. Decent score from Craig unlucky in his last programmed ride when winning comfortably, should be enough for him to keep his place in the side.
  10. Cracking nights entertainment with passing in literally every race. Scott Nicholls was superb and was a joy to watch. we are still very inconsistent as a team can’t seem to get everyone going at the same time, Joel has started scoring now Max is struggling. Erik not winning a single race last night also can’t see that happening again this season.
  11. 1997 Scotland v England under 21s was his last appearance at Armadale
  12. So we start of our championship campaign again the Peterborough panthers with their new number 1 Scott Nicholls leading the way, no Grondal or Ostergaard for the panthers as they are riding in Denmark so Carl Wilkinson will guest in place of Grondal and R/R will be in operation for Ostergaard. The home boys will be at full strength and be looking to kick in from last weeks victory. Home win by 10. Teams for Friday: Edinburgh 1. Ricky Wells 2. Joel Andersson 3. Mark Riss 4. Max Ruml 5. Erik Riss 6. Matt Williamson 7. Josh Pickering Peterborough 1. Scott Nicholls 2. Carl Wilkinson 3. Nike Lunna 4. Michael Palm Toft 5. Ulrich Ostergaard R/R 6. Tom Bacon 7. Simon Lambert
  13. Good nights racing last night, track was much better. Ricky was different class backed up well by mark, the two reserves done their jobs, good to see Joel scoring points tonight as well looked a lot more comfortable. Tough night for max but we know he can score points. Thanks to Thomas Jorgensen for guesting.
  14. That’ll probably still finish above your side as usual
  15. Don’t think that’s the exact wording used but even then at the time he probably was but fair plsy to the lad he’s improved a lot since then.
  16. From what looked a home win, I’m now not so sure without Erik. Especially when the likes of Summers, Doolan, Howe and NBJ all capable of scoring well round Armadale and chuck in the two reserves, this bandits side is more than capable of turning us over especially with how we are riding at the moment.
  17. Matt was good at the Scottish cup match at Ashfield but hasn’t done anything really since. Josh seems to be getting there, Ruml is doing well but struggling on the road a little bit that was to be expected but that’s when the reserves need to step up when they haven’t been, Andersson has just been awful. the boys want the track to be grippy but from speaking to the Riss brothers after Friday they said it was really grippy but it was inconsistent in places and making it difficult to ride, catching a lot of the guys out. Doc has retired from doing the track now, I believe it’s Ronnie Anderson and the Campbell brothers doing it now.
