Edinburgh v Redcar 28th May
Mr Blobby replied to Al Stewart's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Just so you’re aware not sure if you are. Crowds are currently restricted. So it’s currently available to everyone. However once crowds are no longer restricted up here I believe it will be going back to the 50 miles exclusion zone. Tbh the streaming was aimed at away fans or fans who were abroad or too far away to travel to the matches so they still had a chance to watch their team. Obviously with covid it’s came in extremely handy with the predicament we’ve found ourselves in. -

I know when doing the streaming in 2019 it was restricted. So you could only purchase the stream if you lived over 50 miles from the stadium. with restricted crowds at the moment that rule has been removed. -

Fair result in the end and one I would of happily taken pre match. track wasn’t great imo was extremely slick made passing rather difficult. Bit of dirt and grip on there and I think we could have snatched the win. good showings from the top 3. For his first time seeing the track this afternoon when he turned up for the match I thought lye Thomson was great. Got round the track nicely and even got a race win. Definitely promising expected a bit more from William and Nathan, young joe having a night to forget as well. However good to finally be back and see some live speedway again. -

Stream is of good quality imo. Yes you can watch it after if not able to watch it live. -

Very difficult first match. Would’ve been a challenge a few months into the season but with the boys having yet to take to the Armadale shale for even a practice it’s going to be difficult. Would happily take any sort of win but we’ll see. -
Yes, can get access to it through the website

It is indeed. Every match will be streamed online even with fans allowed. was the same last season as long as you were 50 miles away from the stadium.

First of many results like that for the devils I think. -

That’s like having a 6 point average rider out injured and being allowed to replace him with a 7 point average rider. Only in British speedway this could happen. -

Falls and last places costing the devils Thor victory. Good to see all 7 boys out on track after the meeting. -

Could go either way this one. Expect it to be closer than last week. -
Armadale Devils v Berwick Bullets (Friday 7 May 7.30)
Mr Blobby replied to edmon's topic in National League Speedway
Crazy to think George has never even been offered a team place at NL before. One minor blip on the night when he slid off but other than that was tremendous. Especially when he hunted flint down passed him and pulled away. this is what the NL is all about giving guys like George their break in the sport and it’s great to see him taking it. -

Looking forward to massive night for Scottish speedway as the devils take to the Armadale track for the first time in 16 years. hopefully this is the start of more Scottish talent to come through the ranks, especially with the new training school and track starting to take place also. best of luck to everyone involved tonight. -

Glasgow to finish bottom as I don’t like them. -

Will help both clubs massively financially especially if the first couple of meetings will have to be behind closed doors. However hopefully not.

If fans not allowed in by the time the first PL matches start they will shown over live stream like the first 2 devils matches will be.

Will learn this Friday night on the 2021 season reveal show who the rising star will be.

Devils on the hunt for 2 new riders to complete the side. Will have to start looking further south to do so now.
-
Finished top 4 in the US national 2 seasons ago. So qualifies through that.
-
Or 27 year old Tom bacon but it’s all in the best interest of the sport so they say. feel for James as he’s a good guy and hopefully he’ll get sorted out soon somewhere.
-
Was my thinking exactly, either got plenty cash or going to be in a bit of bother come the end of the season.
-
Someone will be without a team place now anyway. Redcar already had to bin 2 riders, one being a young Brit so the new rule really done wonders there.

Another 5 year plan how many 5 year plans has that been in the last few years now, couldn’t make it up. Riders who were promised a team spot now out of work, which is ridiculous. Championship watered down again with now having to bring in wobblers who aren’t ready for this level.
