BERWICK v NEWCASTLE (Saturday, July 3rd: 7pm)
Mr Blobby replied to crescent girl's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Shame that the rest of the team isn’t up to scratch as you’ve effectively got a number 1 at reserve at the moment. -

Not long till flint moves from reserve to number 1. Is it even possible with this rising star nonsense. -
The whole this is a load of nonsense anyway, hope it gets scrapped.

Scorpions v Monarchs 27.6.21

Feel free to ask him yourself. Quite a few riders aren’t a fan of the EWR. More down to track prep than anything. -

Wasn’t expecting a win but thought we might have got a point or been there or there about. I know sam hates the place but bit of a off day for the skipper probably be his lowest score all season. Williams form at the moment is a slight concern. Of course with this happening young palin has the best performance of his young career to do date, unfortunately just had to be against ourselves. Tough team the scorpions at home, think most sides will struggle there this season. -
Wow never seen this coming at all.

I know how it works. Was more the fact William has managed to get above 4 somehow. -

Struggled early on with the conditions but once the track improved after the rain stopped we got better. Josh Pickering worth the admission fee again tonight with his races against Theo. Crazy this lad hasn’t been picked up by a team in the league above. extra bonus for ourselves is Kye has somehow dropped to reserve. -
Sorry gladiators sharp starter is Luke and will give 100%.
-
Good signing for the devils. Luke was improving leaps and bounds with us at Edinburgh a couple of season ago and was putting in some cracking scores. Injury unfortunately put an end to that, good to see him getting another chance well deserved.

No match report or score update on Twitter this week? Twitter admin gone on his holidays or only posts when they win. -

Neither do I, however I don’t think it would’ve been good for young sheldons confidence travelling so far to score 1/2 points a week. Hopefully find somewhere a bit closer to home and maybe at reserve. With Newcastle dropping out and with them having a couple of young promising prospects available it’s an opportunity not to be missed imo. -
Cracking signing for the devils. Great wee rider. Best of luck to sheldon hopefully gets fixed up soon fair play making those long journeys each Friday. nice to see another local so to speak or northern lad in the side.

Good result for the devils. Some questionable sections from my dishington along the way. -

Him and wells not been great. The 2 Danes having the season of their lives digging them out the hole. -

Don’t really agree with the rising star system in general. If you’re good enough you will get a spot anyway. some of the star ratings are also questionable and the guest ruling atm for them is there to be abused. Hume and flint who Glasgow have used the last 2 meetings are head and shoulders above jack smith and of course are going to score way more than he would. We benefited the exact same way the other week using palin for lawlor. -
EASTBOURNE V EDINBURGH June 12th
Mr Blobby replied to Hunters's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
We’re a strong second string or a good scoring reserve away from being up there imo. Need either greaves or Lawson to chip in with another 2/3 points a meeting I feel for us to be serious contenders. -

Cracking result against a really strong side at home. Really pleased for young joe chipping in with a win. Kye continuing to impress scoring well on tracks he’s never seen in his life. great 3 points. -

Good result tonight against a good team. Even with Ritchie having a bit of a off night. Proctor has declined massively letting the team down for the lions at the moment. -
You most definitely would.

Certain riders ride like heat leaders at home and bang average second strings or reserves away which is their problem imo.
