I’d rather see competitive racing which you get very good ones at NDL level than a team filled with 3 pointers about half a lap behind some of the top guys.
Not enough riders of a good enough standard you mean. Plenty brits riding 2nd halfs and Junior league just not enough to make a competitive side.
No teams have been turned down as far as I’m aware every team that has applied to run a NDL side has been accepted.
Very good point home track advantage isn’t down to always being small and technical.
Open fast tracks like belle vue and Glasgow have just as much as an advantage cause if you don’t have the right set up you’ll get swallowed up by the home men who are dialled in as seen last season.
That’s what they want to do can’t force them to ride if they’re not committed to do so. Well we currently have the monarchs academy trying to bring on the next generation shame we need to wait till about 2030 till they’re old enough to compete mind you. So certainly doing a lot more for than a lot of clubs in that aspect.
Gregor and Lewis aren’t doing NDL this year confidence took a battering last year so have decided to step away and just do NJL to try boost it back up. Not many other lads that are up to par to ride NDL close to Armadale and nobody wants to travel so far for a ride.
Programme of the year winners for 2022. Least we won something I guess. Add that to the trophy cabinet and another more successful year than the west mob.
Good to have home. Went a bit awol for a few years and realised he needs to return back to the good side. Be a good battle between him and josh for the number 1 spot.
Nothing to do with being a the main or major team GB sponsor for those GB meeting. Could be wrong but do you not also bid (as in with cash) to host these meeting rather than selected not sure if still the case now however.
That you’re here to be part of the team and the monarchs family, helping anyone from fellow riders to mechanics on match days being there for the fans. Not just turn up get my wage and go home and no give a toss about anyone else like you get elsewhere.
Knowing paco wouldn’t say he doesn’t put in the graft. I know he’s currently in Argentina keeping sharp on the bike but when not riding he’s either out running or in the gym working on his fitness for the new season.
Consistency is what let’s him down and he’ll happily admit himself that’s his biggest downfall.
