  1. Hope we don’t do an afternoon meeting again. Track is slick and easy to ride. I’m saying that it’s been like that all season. Gone are the days were it was prepared grippy and difficult for the away riders. Winning half our home meetings this season says it all. well done to Poole, second leg a formality now.
  2. Problem is it wasn’t a fan it was your team manager on the back of the parade truck giving people hand gestures. Then decided to give more abuse afterwards. Not exactly professional.
  3. Need a better performance tonight than we did last night. As we’ll need around a 12 point lead imo if we want to have a chance of silverware.
  4. Thought we would’ve won by more on the night not that it would’ve mattered anyway. Weird bunch those tigers fans, same ones who were crying about certain things being said after the result last week chanting and doing the same thing this week. Not that I have an issue with it btw. Can’t take it then don’t give it out is what I’d say to those. Anyone mon the pirates, just for the play offs of course.
  5. Don’t know what it is with slick tracks but for some unknown reason we can’t ride them or find set ups for them. well done to the tigers last night track suited them down to a tee last night and took full advantage. Makes the 2nd leg tonight a bit boring as 22 points even with the Pole don’t think we’d have a chance.
  6. Reverse psychology? A rider who could barely get the bike turned last week who now all of sudden has his wedding out of the blue has been replaced by a rider who will more than likely score double figures. 20 point swing with him not riding.
  7. Surprise surprise no Nowak at Armadale this Friday as he’s apparently getting married and have Cameron Heeps as a guest. You honestly couldn’t make it up. Most corrupt sport in history no wonder it’s dying.
  8. Must say the poles first lap of Armadale was interesting. Don’t think he actually got the bike sideways. Did improve sort of as the night went on.
  9. Nothing wrong with a bit of pantomime villain booing, aimed at ex monarchs. You’re skipper even came and joined the people who I’m assuming this is aimed at for beer in the bar after. However every club has the odd idiot seen plenty at Ashfield down the years and many other tracks down the UK. Anyway onto the meeting. Absolute joy to watch them implode on track again. Same again tomorrow please.
  10. Never bothered his backside on Tuesday. Normally good value for money round Armadale but could tell in his riding it was a case of keep myself safe for Thursday.
  11. Feel 16 will just be a touch too far for us. Conceding the 5-1 and 4-2 in heats 14/15 on Sunday killed it for us imo. However another performance like Tuesday and there’s every chance.
  12. Don’t think you’ll be the only one which is a shame. Hopefully doesn’t effect the crowds too much.
  13. I’d like to think drew and Edwards will out score Bailey and the pole if he turns up.
  14. More of that on Friday night please a bit more than 6 from the skipper as well and we’re onto a winner.
  15. Not saying he didn’t try, just unfortunately had a bad night.
  16. Pickering having a nightmare bring our major downfall, he’s normally good for double figures round Ashfield. Looks like his performance may cost us on this occasion.
