  1. I’d rather see a competitive league than a side of 5 3/4 pointers getting hammered home and away. with 2/3 non Brits taking part is it really affecting the league as much as you’re making out? not really.
  2. He’s not interested in the NDL can’t be bothered with the travelling for the away matches for it. I’d guess the few named will be in the side with one or two surprises.
  3. Still riding bikes but now on race tracks than oval circles.
  4. Out of the commonwealth riders who are riding they’re all 8/9 point men. So what brits are they replacing of similar calibre who rode last year?
  5. Never thought I’d see a 2.00 reserve get his own thread but here we are.
  6. I’m sure they could’ve found a Brit on that average would’ve been different if his average wasn’t so low.
  7. Not the only one, as it’s happened this winter to a rider. But for some reason in this case it hasn’t.
  8. To maybe clarify why a commonwealth rider is coming in on 4.5 average perhaps. Instead of 8.00 like others.
  9. True, but just looking for some clarification on how they come to such an average. As any other riders who’s dropped down average has doubled for the NDL but Congreve only gets 0.5 added to his. This is taking advantage of the system which is completely what letting commonwealth riders back in wasn’t supposed to be for. Pretty sure there several brits on a similar average that could’ve filled this spot.
  10. Of the same opinion all for commonwealth riders getting a spot to fill the spots so to speak on those higher averages. But this is taking advantage of the system and is very poor imo. I know there’s a rider not been announced by another team who’s coming in on double his championship average. Roynon last year came in on double his so the question needs to asked and answered from either Mildenhall themselves or the BSPA.
  11. Agreed would be interested to know how a commonwealth rider who has a championship average of 4.00 joins the NDL on a 4.50. Considering I know there’s another commonwealth rider who average is basically double.
  12. I’ll have whatever you’re on for Berwick being a very strong looking side.
  13. Looks absolutely cracking for viewing. Looking forward to coming down with the devils as long as I have the time to do so.
  14. Who’s to say the rules haven’t been changed.
  15. Probably not, down the advent calendar this year with the monarchs. So will probably just announcements via social media and the website.
  16. I’d say you’ve got 2 maybe 3 correct. Rest are definitely wrong.
  17. Guess we’ll soon find out when they start announcing the 7.
  18. Good news that the devils are back in action next year. Should be a more competitive side this year than last.
  19. I’m with you now misread it, my bad haha. Just unfortunate there isn’t enough at the moment hopefully that’ll change sooner rather than later.
  20. I’d rather see competitive racing which you get very good ones at NDL level than a team filled with 3 pointers about half a lap behind some of the top guys.
  21. Last point is bang on. Plenty riders just not enough of standard to create competitive teams.
  22. Not enough riders of a good enough standard you mean. Plenty brits riding 2nd halfs and Junior league just not enough to make a competitive side. No teams have been turned down as far as I’m aware every team that has applied to run a NDL side has been accepted.
  23. Very good point home track advantage isn’t down to always being small and technical. Open fast tracks like belle vue and Glasgow have just as much as an advantage cause if you don’t have the right set up you’ll get swallowed up by the home men who are dialled in as seen last season.
  24. Complin at Glasgow so no chance he’ll be at Armadale.
