Edinburgh v Scunthorpe Championship 26/5/23
Mr Blobby replied to eide67's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Well our averages go over the limit as of June 1st. We have 0.45 extra to play with till then. If we want to make the play offs then we need to brutal and make 2 changes. I’d bring in a 2 pointer from the NDL to replace Bickley and someone from the continent on a 5.00 to replace hook and that will get us Fredricksen at reserve. -

Don’t think we’ll see the same 7 come 2 weeks time. I’d like to see 2 changes made and get lasse in at reserve before the averages change. -

No Craig cook either got a back injury and replaced by Leon flint. Well that’s another home defeat. -

Could be tight this one. A track Clegg will actually score points on. Mountain will be a trump car at reserve as scored very well form the main body last year with Leicester. Douglas in top form also. Need everyone firing tonight as I don’t think R/R will get as much as paco would’ve but good stand in for Josh in Ritchie. Weather is all good sunny again not very often you get to say that so hopefully a home win and a good night of racing. -

Wright is a clown. Could’ve got himself and cook hurt there. Bordering on dangerous the way he rides at times almost desperation. -
BRUMMIES V EDINBURGH Wed 17th May CL

Very unexpected win given our recent form. However we do need to kick on from here and that level of consistency in our riding has to be a must from now till the end of the season if wanting to make the play offs. -

Think we’ll carry our current form with another defeat. -

Never excluding him in a final in Poland. Which is completely wrong. -
Doesn’t come as a surprise never really looks in full control when on the bike. Said when he was Edinburgh the other week. Either going to hurt someone or himself.

Was always going to difficult for the academy with the comets being clear favourites for the league this year and with plenty of laps under their belt round their new home. I’m saying that best going there now than later in the season as They effectively have 4 heat leaders at the moment, 5 when Harrison is back fit.

Starting to run out of words to describe how frustrating and rubbish we are. -

Another tough one. A win or loss will depend on what sedgy, kye and paco you get. Weather wise all good so hopefully a good nights racing. -

Surely the best track and track staff in world speedway can deal with a couple of potential showers. -

Not really a surprise, Basso and vissing away riding in Denmark, any slight chance of rain this would get called off. -
Probably yes you are.

Scott and Ritchie up there with the best round Armadale going at it. Was a pleasure to watch both chucking the bike at each other but with ultimate control. -

Thanks gaz. I’m okay now I’ve managed to get the help needed and came to terms with the fact we’re no very good. Positives from last night track was much better not quite there yet but much better. Kyle starting to find his feet which is good to see. The race between nicholls and worrall in heat 13 was unbelievable stuff a must see if it’s posted online. Scott is arguably the best visiting rider to visit the dale imo even though he’s not really seen the place that much. Negatives that middle pairing are enough to take years off your life. -

Cook and Worrall the only ones to trouble masters and Nicholls. Fancy Kyle and Jacob to have the beating of killen and Atkins all night. Heeps probably the trump card for Oxford especially at 2 round Armadale. God knows what you’re going to get from kye and paco but that’s all part of the fun the unknown. -
