Lambs to the slaughter

What has happened to Harry mcgurk gone from a 7 point average to a 3 this season. Apart from the obvious he’s not been scoring. Some decline.

The major issue we have being so far north is lack of rider availability with travel restrictions. Hopefully the young academy where we have training schools every week coached from David McAllan, Sean stoddart and James grieves every Saturday for the young ones wanting to take up the sport are still another 6/7 years away from being eligible. Last year with the team being not very good due to not being able to riders in and poor crowds resulting in this they have went down a different route this year with trying to link it all under one roof like a football type academy system, unfortunately not quite worked out as planned with Kyle and Jacob having to be let go form the PL side. For them to field a side this year it had to be competitive to make it viable financially hence wanting commonwealth riders in the league to increase the standard and hopefully bring bigger crowds in the process.
-
Just to clear this up a bit. Roynon, Simpson and spooner when contacted by the club hadn’t received any offers from any NDL sides. Roynon did from belle vue but after he had already signed for the academy. Not enough heat leaders or decent quality of riders around to fill the spots hence the allowance of the Aussies in the league if you could name me riders of similar ability and average who could replace them then please do. Wood who has a British passport and has a full time UK job on top of racing. Hardly over for a jolly. Don’t see you complaining about Matt marson for example who’s been coming over riding and going back to Aus each year. Edinburgh as a club probably do more for the youth set up than most clubs in the U.K. so hardly self interests.

If you could name me riders that could replace riders in the side please do? Realistic ones.

Several lads who wouldn’t have a team spot have one so can’t be that harmful.

He tried to go round wood and clipped his back wheel causing him to come off that wasn’t down to conditions. -

I would agree but they gave it a go hoping the rain would go off but never. -

Had heavy showers this morning which would’ve been perfect and the track was perfect till the constant drizzle hit from 7pm. Then just continued from then on and the track just got worse and worse with no chance to recover. Typical really nice all week then gets to 7pm on the Friday and the rain hits. Oh well we’ll try again another time. -

They’d need to hit 55 to get the bonus point. -

Sedgy in a bit of form at the moment so expect him to get double figures. Morris normally goes well round our place. Batch will either be a hit or a miss. I’d like to think the likes of kye, lasse and borke will have the beating of the Brummies lower end. I’d take any form of home win big or small as it will secure the bonus point regardless. -
So Josh is a liar? Is that what you’re saying?
-
Well buster is a well known liar.
-
Cook declared himself fit for Friday against Brummies.
-
Makes buster as expected to be talking absolute sh#t.
-
No but I think from speaking to the man himself is a good enough.
-
He wasn’t though was offered less as buster couldn’t afford to give him what he was previously on.
-
Pretty much bang on exactly.
-
You obviously don’t know Josh very well. If you were off your work injured and were ready to come back and they tell you yeah that’s great but we’re going to cut your wage compared to what you were on before you got hurt. Would you be okay with that? Probably not. Sheffield offered him what he was on for Lynn at the start of the season. I know what one I would’ve picked. As for buster saying he’s not known anything is nonsense as they spoke before he even went to Poland at the weekend about coming back.
-
Josh would’ve been back at lynn but was offered a deal which was less than what he was on originally. Sheffield offered him what he was originally on.
-
Potentially yes.
-
Just as we get the good new about Josh we then get the bad news about paco. Out for a month with a dislocated shoulder and cracked humerus sustained in Italy on Sunday. Personally wouldn’t be against signing max Clegg on a months cover can certainly score well round Armadale.
