Don’t see us causing the bears too many issues should be a fairly comfortable one. -
Plymouth Vs Berwick 8/8/23 live BSN
Mr Blobby replied to Cast1rn's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
From what Greg is saying they didn’t pack the track till later in the day, so it’s not really had time to set. This should’ve be done way earlier in the day. The ref also needs to be stronger in that situation and get a hold of the situation. -

The ref just as much to blame she’s absolutely useless and has no control over what is going on. -

Jye won’t want anything to do with this track either along with the likes of Rory. -

Don’t get your knickers in a twist Steve. We can ride on Saturdays as an off race night. So they’ll be no forfeiting of ties. Daft suggestion also but expected. -

Everyone will be pleased to hear Peter (the photographer) has posted an update to let everyone know his condition thank god it’s not as bad as first feared. Hello all. Thought I'd provide a quick update. First of all a massive THANK YOU to everyone who took the Time to message and call. I truly felt the love of the Speedway Family and am blessed to be part of it. I have just come out surgery to close two wounds on my head. All went well. I do have small breaks to my C2 and C3 vertebra and will be in a neck bracelet for about 12 weeks but again everything will be fine.- 266 replies

They never changed anything set up as usual but with all the rain we’ve had all week it made the surface way more grippy than it has been. -

As already been said the guesswork and I heard this and that happened isn’t the time or place. Freak incident that I hope to never see again. All the best to Peter and hope he makes a full recovery he was responding to the paramedics which is fantastic news. Also hope Craig is okay I know he struggles mentally as it is and I know he thought the worst at first, hopefully we will see him back in action sooner rather than later. Also hope Adam is okay says he’s broken something in his shoulder area just not sure what, but was in good spirits still. And for people asking for refunds on BSN you’re an embarrassment.- 266 replies

Very true, tough night for us underdogs last night against the Andorran giants. hume a more than capable replacement for paco tonight. R/R will be a bit weaker than kye. But after last nights display by the mighty green and white I’m all for the underdog story. no weather worries either the rain over the last few days should help create a good surface for this evening. -

Thomson out with a mystery illness, been in hospital since Wednesday for tests. Guest options not great at all. Could potentially be a massacre now this one. -
He’s averaging over 5 at home riding at number 2 this season, that match and Oxford are the only two home matches he’s not scored over 5 at home from his 4 programmed rides. Moving to the easier position at reserve against a struggling Berwick side. I’m pretty confident lasse would’ve managed score more than 6 points from 6 rides.

Hook who’s out with a broken shoulder.
-
I believe it has been into September.
-
Max is only a temporary replacement till lasse is back fit again. Lasse will only miss Redcar and potentially Plymouth rescheduling and Poole if off tomorrow depending on when the rescheduling is. I believe the cut off is being pushed back so would hope he is back for them. At home I’d say max is better round Armadale than lasse, of course lasse is better away however looking at the options for him at these places there isn’t really any track specialists or riders who’d do better than Clegg.

POOLE V EDINBURGH, WEDS 2ND AUGUST;
Mr Blobby replied to SteveLyric2's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Would’ve preferred Bailey as he’s in a good bit of form at the moment. However don’t think it really matter who we get options for borke aren’t great. -
Clegg should do the job especially at home which should help towards bonus points. However we do need him to chip in with a couple of points on the road also.

Morley for borke what a massive downgrade that is. -
Nice to see Laguta enjoying his Beach holiday. Bit of rest in the sun will help heal that sore wrist he’s got.
-
I said “a bit of a right off” not quite a full right off. This was all said before Berwick home and away when we’d won 2 matches all season one being the first at home to Glasgow and Birmingham which doesn’t really mean much as everyone wins there. At the point in time I had wrote this it was a bit of a right off. Unfortunately I can’t see into the future.
-
A mixture of both which is exactly what you’re after. Experienced guys who are there to assist the next generation.
-
Well that was a lot closer than it should’ve been. Hook would’ve been good for double digits unlike Perry who failed to score which kept the score line close. Special mention must go to mickie simpson the boy hasn’t had much luck of late and what a performance he put in. Lost count of the amount of passes he made last night. Using the old Peter Carr line right up the inside each time.
