  1. He was beginning to score in the main body of the team a few weeks before he went to reserve just needed the first month or so to get himself set up and settled before he started banging in the points. I don't think it was the fact that the management wanted him at reserve when you had Tabaka there at the time. Not at all the track wasn't great but it's the same for both sides and Redcar and Newcastle were both better than us on the night.
  2. Don't no if we were very good tonight or the comets were just poor, probably just a bit of both. Cookie was class as was Max, young max is going to go places in this sport gets better every week. Claus looked good tonight with his highest score at home this season after two poor weeks, theo, deek and wee James were solid as well. For the comets Rusty done as expected the rest poor apart from Lawson who actually looked to have some sort of pace at the dale for once but still pretty slow. Final note, track was good tonight more grip than the last few weeks which was good to see.
  3. I know that Friday is the 21st that's why it says 21/6/13.......
  4. Left it blank as not to sure who the guest for Saturday is.
  5. This week the monarchs will take on the workington comets in the premier league. The boys in blue & gold will be looking to bounce back after two home defeats in a row while the comets will look to take advantage of an injury hit Edinburgh side. R/R will be in operation for Joe Tabaka who is hoping to be back a week tomorrow after his injury isn't as bad as first thought and for Tero Aarnio which will make the comets stronger IMO. James Sarjeant will guest for Mitchell Davey again at reserve. Not going to predict this one as my predictions are becoming a bit of a jinx. Teams for Friday: Edinburgh Monarchs Craig Cook Derek Sneddon © Claus Vissing Joe Tabaka R/R Theo Pijper James Sarjeant (guest) Max Fricke Workington Comets Richard Lawson © Kyle Howarth Rusty Harrison Tero Aarnio R/R Rene Bach Ashley Morris Chris Mills
  6. Saturday night sees the two teams meet again after riding against each other on the friday up at Armadale. Should be a good match with Cookie making his return to Cumbria. Teams for Saturday: Workington Comets Richard Lawson © kyle Howarth Rusty Harrison Tero Aarino R/R Rene Bach Ashley Morris Chris Mills Edinburgh Monarchs Craig Cook Derek Sneddon Claus Vissing Joe Tabaka R/R Theo Pijper Max Fricke
  7. As i said you wouldn't be making such a big deal about this if you went through! Sour grapes comes to mind better luck next time.
  8. Okay so you are going by what someone else had said and lets be honest here if you had went through we wouldn't be discussing decisions that happened on Friday. As i said previously was standing on the 3rd bend Max came under all 3 moved them out Ludvig looked like he then clipped Tabaka then they both fell. The ref could of excluded max or ludvig but went for Ludvig if it was at Newcastle he probably would have excluded max or Tabaka. These things happen
  9. I will ask you the same question were you there on friday or are you going by picture as well??
  10. Where you actually there on Friday or are you just going by pictures that you have seen??
  11. Newcastle were a stronger team with R/R IMO and this either proves that or is just a coincidence (probably just a coincidence) but since Andy came back you haven't won a home match.
  12. i was on the 3rd bend where it happened hard one to call as max came flying under both them which caused Lindgren to move out which caused Joe to run out of room and fall. Hard to see if lindgren actually touched Joe or not but from the referee's box it probably looked like he did so thats why he probably went for Ludvig in the end. Only if you got the sky replays at every meeting.
  13. My plan has worked!!!!! Get in there boys fantastic result. Cookie you my man are different class! Max, claus, theo, Derek you can all take a bow. Against the odds and we have done it even without wee Joe only if he was there would have won by more. Would love to see the faces of those two Vile Newcastle fans that where there on Friday after heat 15 today! Haha
  14. Who ever told you that must have had one to many
  15. Tomorrow sees the return leg of the quater final between the diamonds and the monarchs with the diamonds taking a 1 point lead into their home leg of the tie. Newcastle look favourites for this one but you never know anything can happen. The diamonds will be lining up with the same 7 as Friday the monarchs will have James Sargeant as a guest for Mitchell Davey but Wee Joe Tabaka will more than likely be missing for tomorrows match after another big of today this time in Hungary and has a suspected broken foot (get well soon Joe). Edit: Tabaka has broken toes and concussion form Fridays match rode today and crashed again. God knows what actually wrong with him but we do no that he won't be there tomorrow as he is out for 3 weeks. Diamonds to win this one by 14 against a wounded monarchs side. The likely line ups for tomorrow: Newcastle Diamonds Stuart Robson Andrew Tully Christian Henry Ludvig Lindgren Ritchie Worrall Steve Worrall Lewis Kerr Edinburgh Monarchs Craig Cook Derek Sneddon Claus Vissing Joe Tabaka R/R Theo Pijper James Sargeant (guest) Max Fricke
  16. Dear Nigel please shut up! you could not have your head any further up woffy's arse if it was possible. Oh and great win by woffy there but emil is looking class again.
  17. I can't believe I have just read someone saying Rory Schlein for the GB team!!! someone tell me that it was a joke and it wasn't a serious post.
  18. Yes two passes after the 2nd bend cook on tully and Theo in heat 15 apart from that it was follow the leader after bends 1 & 2. No your right he doesn't have the right to automatically pass him but if you had seen the race he was all over the back of him all race doing lines that would on an normal gripy track of got passed him with ease but with the track being the complete opposite he had no chance.
  19. At what point have I said that I accept a slick track?? Considering Doc only gets to go to the track on a Wednesday and Friday, which gives plenty of time during the week and at the weekends for the track to dry out.
