  1. Gutted missing another derby but i'm feeling that confident that we will win i'm going to come out of retirement for one time only to predict the monarchs to win this one by 25. Whoever Glasgow may be signing he will not be at Edinburgh which has been announced on the monarchs website.
  2. I'm a Edinburgh fan and I would rather have Cook 1.) better rider home and away 2.) (and this is the most important one) he actually turns up!!!! Cook also has a higher EL and PL average than THJ Also regarding your comment about not generating speed, he broke to track records at the weekend one at Edinburgh on Friday by 0.2 seconds and then at Glasgow on Sunday by a whole second if that is not having speed not to sure what is. Another comment you made was he he can't pass top rider read below. Heat 09: Cook, Batchelor, Nieminen, Birks. (4-2)...25-29...59.8 Line Up: Cook, Nieminen, Batchelor, Birks Comments: Batchelor leading until Cookie wound on the gas and sailed by. Read more: http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/12493/belle-vue-swindon-2013-30pm#ixzz2YbteyWpr I would continue but there is really no point as your talking crap!!!
  3. League cup semi final this time at the dale against the high flying witches. Monarchs will need to be on top form this week if they want any chance of taking a decent lead down there for the second leg. James sargeant will guest again for mitchell while for the witches heeps will move up to the main body of the team with Hawkins dropping down to reserve. Unfortunately going to be missing the next 3 meetings as going on holiday to get some sun for 2 weeks then having to work the following so i hope you all don't miss me to much. Teams for Friday: Edinburgh Monarchs Craig Cook Derek Sneddon Theo Pijper Joe Tabaka Claus Vissing James Sarjeant Max Fricke Ipswich Witches Ben Barker Cameron Heeps Rohan Tungate Morton Risager Leigh Lanham Adam Elllis Ritchie Hawkins
  4. Kennett proving his pick tonight with a fantastic performance.......
  5. Tai, Bomber and cookie were always going to be in the team IMO. The last place for me would have been between Worrall, Kennett, King and Barker and whoever was in the best form leading up to the event would get the place and on current form I would of said Barker but Middlo seems to think otherwise. Either way i'm going to back the team and hopefully they can all put on a performance and do GB proud.
  6. After Sunday when Max gets his average he goes back into the main body of the team and Tabaka goes back to reserve.
  7. It was because max and Derek where right on the wheel of Branford going into turn 3 and Branford pulled a bit of a locker causing max to straighten up to avoid him and graversen then fell trying to avoid max.
  8. Good tight match even though the racing wasn't that great tonight. Good fight back by the boys in blue & gold to earn all the points after a poor start. Max didn't have the best of nights along with Theo but the rest done enough to make the comeback. Claus has really got he knack of the place the last few weeks and is now looking fast and smooth which is good to see. For the visitors Kauko started off well and faded, Dollan being the pick of the bunch for the lions as he always rides our place well. Branford and Ellis were impressive to start with as they were getting out of the gate very well but then faded a little. Was good to see a decent amount of Lions fans up tonight they were making a good amount of noise even though a didn't understand what they were saying! haha
  9. Dyer not riding now as he has changed his mind and said no so the Lions will need to look for another guest. Stop predicting as it had become a bit of a jinx over the past 3 weeks as george.m would tell you.
  10. Eventually a post about the meeting! As long as everybody puts in a solid performance like last week we should have no problems, if not it could be a lot closer than we would like. If yo read my post again it actually says if you want which is giving you a choice but me personally would prefer to talk about the match tomorrow rather than read or talk about your promotion as it has it's own thread so why not post your views there instead of in a topic which has nothing to do with it.
  11. So back on Topic instead of this Leicester promotion nonsense, which there is a topic about so if you want to post about them there please do! Line ups for Friday: Edinburgh Monarchs Craig Cook Derek Sneddon Claus Vissing Joe Tabaka Theo Pijper Tommy Fenwick Max Fricke Leicester Lions Kauko Nieminem Jan Graversen Kevin Doolan Lasse Bjerre R/R Magnus Karlsson Alex Edberg Robert Branford
  12. and Cook also beat Worrall twice on his home track as well... #justsayin also if by your post you mean worrall should get picked over cook by him beating him twice tonight. never heard anything so stupid if thats what you mean by that
  13. Wouldn't mind a decent glasgow team but as long as we are stronger
  14. You were beaten at home by a mid table side IMO! who only had 4 riders who scored points really on the day How is that an improvement???
  15. No No No! the jinx only works if i predict edinburgh meetings. We are playing by blobbys rules here
  16. Glasgow's OAP Tigers v the berwick bandits Got to fancy the bandits for this one they old tiggers won't be able to last 15 heats.
  17. Only one Goon and it's you!!! It's a joke don't see how it's being big headed or how being in the same league as Darcy Ward has anything to do with it
