  1. We get priority when there fixture clashes with Swindon.
  2. Well thanks to this whole proctor thing we at Edinburgh don't have a meeting next week. Sheffield were going to come up next week for the rearranged fixture but they then signed proctor who is missing next Friday as he will be riding for wolves. Now they have decided they aren't going to come up next Friday now because of it. This doubling up stuff wasn't so bad when it didn't effect PL teams but now it does it's a pain
  3. Easier than expected all the boys were on top form tonight. Shame there is no meeting next week though as Sheffield have decided not to bother seeing as Proctor is missing must fancy their chances with them riding then. Will be slightly disappointed when they do come up then.
  4. This one could be closer than expected with Pijper riding at number 1 instead of R/R for Mellgren now. Scunthorpe now have riders in Theo, Howe and birks all capable of winning races round the dale. Need to be on the top of our game if we want to take all 3 points tomorrow.
  5. So we try again for our first PL home meeting this time it's Scunthorpe we welcome to the dale. Monarchs should be at full strength but there is a change in the riding order with Aaron Fox dropping t reserve and Justin Sedgmen moving into the main body of the the team. Scunthorpe will operate R/R for the injured Anders Mellgren, Ryan Douglas will now move up into the main body of the team with Thomas Jorgensen moving to reserve he will be missing through danish commitments and will be replaced by Mason Campton. Scunthopre have riders in Howe, Birks that usually go well round our place and the inform Douglas so should be a close one. Edit: Pijper guesting for Mellgren Teams for Friday: Edinburgh Craig Cook Justin Sedgmen Max Fricke Derek Sneddon Sam Masters Aaron Fox Stevie Worrall Scunthorpe Theo Pijper (G) David Howe Ryan Douglas Ashley Birks Josh Auty Matt Williamson Mason Campton (G)
  6. I am currently working on my minions as we speak as slip ups like last night are not what i expect of myself or fellow followers
  7. Blobby would like to make a statement saying the following. I was not caught by gazc I knew exactly what he was doing. I mr blobby just couldn't resist and took a little nibble at the bait which was thrown by gazc last night in honour of Edinburgh speedways decision to call of last nights meeting against Sheffield tiger at around 6.57pm last night.
  8. i got it it george was just trying to no let him reel me in
  9. It was raining at the time of the call off actually! the track was wet to say the least and the rain was getting worse all the time
  10. Had been dry all day until about 5 o'clock when it started to drizzle but it just got heavier the closer the meeting came to starting! just need to settle for the GP tomorrow then
  11. Hopefully the forecast improves a little as it doesn't look the best for later on tonight
  12. Najjer has got a point though Kalle can't take 7 rides a meeting when he moves up into the main body of the team. It will make the devils top 5 stronger but will make them a lot weaker at reserve as benko isn't going to bang in double figures week in week out from reserve
  13. Well we kick off our league campain against the tigers not the ones from down the road but the other ones from sheffield spearheaded by the heat leader trio of Stead, Roynon and Lanham. Edinburgh will be looking to make it 9 form 9 while sheffield will be looking to stop our run by taking an away victory. Edinburgh to win by 10+ Teams for Friday Edinburgh Craig Cook Aaron Fox Max Fricke Derek Sneddon Sam Masters Justin Sedgmen Steve Worrall Sheffield Simon Stead Simon Nielsen Leigh Lanham Taylor Poole Adam Roynon Andre Compton Josh Bates
  14. Not to sure if it was ment or not but i thought it was quite funny when "help" by the beatles was played over the P.A system after heat 14!
  15. Make that 8 for 8! Aaron fox is just going from strength to strength which is good to see. Track looked slick and dusty very hard to pass on. gate 1 was a graveyard even cookie couldn't make a gate off it! Feel sorry for the Glasgow fans they deserve better than that. What happened to Wolbert he was fantastic on Friday and looked like a novice today with a duck egg. Lemon blew an engine at the start in his first and was then pantsafter that. On a more positive note i thought berge was great today fast out the traps and had the pace to match after that.
  16. After another victory in the bag we travel west to face our old rivals the tiggers in our final match in the league cup we will be looking to go 8 for 8 but glasgow will be looking to put a stop to that. The suns supposed to be out which is never a good thing when you head through there .(i know terrible joke just couldn't resist) We need to bit sharper tomorrow if we want to keep this winning run going if we are not i i think a defeat will be on the cards. Glasgow Kevin Wolbert Dimitri Berge Rusty Harrison Mark Lemon Theo Pijper Kasper Lykke Anders Thomsen Edinburgh Craig Cook Aaron Fox (samatha fox) Max Fricke (golden child) Derek Sneddon (desperate Deek) Sam Masters Justin Sedgmen Stevie Worrall (lesser Worrall)
