  1. I will ask you the same question were you there on friday or are you going by picture as well??
  2. Where you actually there on Friday or are you just going by pictures that you have seen??
  3. Newcastle were a stronger team with R/R IMO and this either proves that or is just a coincidence (probably just a coincidence) but since Andy came back you haven't won a home match.
  4. i was on the 3rd bend where it happened hard one to call as max came flying under both them which caused Lindgren to move out which caused Joe to run out of room and fall. Hard to see if lindgren actually touched Joe or not but from the referee's box it probably looked like he did so thats why he probably went for Ludvig in the end. Only if you got the sky replays at every meeting.
  5. My plan has worked!!!!! Get in there boys fantastic result. Cookie you my man are different class! Max, claus, theo, Derek you can all take a bow. Against the odds and we have done it even without wee Joe only if he was there would have won by more. Would love to see the faces of those two Vile Newcastle fans that where there on Friday after heat 15 today! Haha
  6. Who ever told you that must have had one to many
  7. Tomorrow sees the return leg of the quater final between the diamonds and the monarchs with the diamonds taking a 1 point lead into their home leg of the tie. Newcastle look favourites for this one but you never know anything can happen. The diamonds will be lining up with the same 7 as Friday the monarchs will have James Sargeant as a guest for Mitchell Davey but Wee Joe Tabaka will more than likely be missing for tomorrows match after another big of today this time in Hungary and has a suspected broken foot (get well soon Joe). Edit: Tabaka has broken toes and concussion form Fridays match rode today and crashed again. God knows what actually wrong with him but we do no that he won't be there tomorrow as he is out for 3 weeks. Diamonds to win this one by 14 against a wounded monarchs side. The likely line ups for tomorrow: Newcastle Diamonds Stuart Robson Andrew Tully Christian Henry Ludvig Lindgren Ritchie Worrall Steve Worrall Lewis Kerr Edinburgh Monarchs Craig Cook Derek Sneddon Claus Vissing Joe Tabaka R/R Theo Pijper James Sargeant (guest) Max Fricke
  8. Dear Nigel please shut up! you could not have your head any further up woffy's arse if it was possible. Oh and great win by woffy there but emil is looking class again.
  9. I can't believe I have just read someone saying Rory Schlein for the GB team!!! someone tell me that it was a joke and it wasn't a serious post.
  10. Yes two passes after the 2nd bend cook on tully and Theo in heat 15 apart from that it was follow the leader after bends 1 & 2. No your right he doesn't have the right to automatically pass him but if you had seen the race he was all over the back of him all race doing lines that would on an normal gripy track of got passed him with ease but with the track being the complete opposite he had no chance.
  11. At what point have I said that I accept a slick track?? Considering Doc only gets to go to the track on a Wednesday and Friday, which gives plenty of time during the week and at the weekends for the track to dry out.
  12. Not blaming Doc in the slightest. It's not his fault that we have had two weeks of good weather that has taken all the moisture out of the track causing it to be so slick.
  13. Well done to Newcastle with your team of gaters you where allways going to win this one tonight on the bare, slick and dusty track which was virtually impossible to pass on with the Lindgren cook race as a prime example. Was standing on the 3rd bend tonight near the newcastle fans and there was two newcastle fans standing at the front who where an Embarrassment to Newcastle speedway by the way the behaved tonight IMO. Just a wee note for any Glasgow fans who are interested Patrik Nagy had 2 outings after the meeting tonight and clocked time of 60 point something in both of his rides. (i think). Never predicting us to win at home by 10 again! thats two weeks in a row now and we have lost both.
  14. This week the mighty monarchs take on the the Newcastle diamonds in the first leg of the KO cup quarter finals with the return leg on Sunday. Josh Bates guests again for the injured Mitchell Davey again and Theo moves up to the number 5 position with Claus moving down to number 3. Newcastle will be lining up with the inform Ritchie Worrall who scored an 18 point max for Kings lynn on Wednesday and of course Mr Tully who is a bit of a master at the Dale after 6 years as a monarch. Monarchs to win this one by 10. The line ups for Friday: Edinburgh 'Scotwaste' Monarchs Craig Cook Derek Sneddon © Claus Vissing Joe Tabaka Theo Pijper Josh Bates (G) Max Fricke Newcastle 'Sapphire Engineering' Diamonds Stuart Robson Andrew Tully Christian Henry Ludvig Lindgren Ritchie Worrall Steve Worrall Lewis Kerr
  15. Amazing result by the mighty monarchs!!!!  Cookie best rider in the premier league different class in heat 15. Deek, Claus and Theo solid. Tabaka quality tonight was in the thick of the action all night with some great passes. Special mention again to young Max Fricke take a bow son you were brilliant tonight, such a old head on young shoulders. One of the best prospects since rory schlein that i seen at Edinburgh. He is going to go a long way in the sport Onto the incidents in my opinion the ref got the the first one right josh clipped deek's front wheel with his dirt reflector which put him off balance and caused him to fall. The second one could of went either way josh looked to move out and tabaka looked to go down the inside and they just collided but with Tabaka slightly behind i can see why the ref Excluded wee Joe. Great advert for PL racing far better than the rubbish that has been served up i the EL this year anyway.
  16. I can see why we said no to this Thursday as Craig and Theo carrying knocks, Vissing out of form and Mitchell out injured plus 2 bigger meetings over the weekend. Also it is quite short notice to ride a semi final considering you have been asked to ride a date 3 or 4 days after being asked IMO. This is if there is any truth in us saying no to this date or this date being proposed at all.
  17. There are 3 teams out there that have a better chance of wining the league than Redcar IMO.
  18. First off all would like to congratulate redcar on their victory tonight against a miss firing monarchs side. You could say Redcar came to the dale at the right time with Davey injured and R/R for Theo but hey ho thats the way it goes. Looked like the boys in blue & gold had the match wrapped up being 12 points up after 10 heats then came along the the T.R where we lost an 8 -1 form then on it all went a bit wrong. The track played a big part in the monarchs downfall tonight as it was very slick and dusty due to the weather where there was only one pass all night (which was cook in heat 1). Gating was crucial tonight and the bears made the starts when it mattered. Only getting 7 points from R/R was a big let down when Theo would have scored double figures. But the main reason that we lost tonight was Mr Vissing what he was up to tonight was a mystery. Was on a comfortable 5 - 1 in heat 4 until he decided he was going to try and go round Max and fell off resulting in a 3 - 3 instead of a 5 - 1. His next 4 rides he looked looked liked he had never seen the place before why he got given heat 15 is a bit of a strange one as he had scored one point up to then. Special mention to Max Fricke he was fantastic to watch tonight fast, smooth and stylish and well deserved his 12+1 form his 5 rides.
  19. This week the patched up Monarchs welcome a high flying Redcar team to Armadale with former monarchs Aaron Summers, mickey Dyer and Max Dilger. Both teams will line up with their in form men in Joe Tabaka and Mickey Dyer moving into the main body of the team and Max Fricke and Carl Wilkinson moving down into the reserve berths. The monarchs will also have R/R in operation for Theo Pijper, who is on long track duty, which will be a huge miss for the boys in blue & gold as he has been good for double figures at home all season. With Mitchell Davey also missing due a broken wrist they will call upon young James Sarjeant as a guest. Hard one to predict this but can still see the monarchs taking all 3 points and winning by 10 on the night. Teams for Friday: Edinbrugh 'Scotwaste' Monarchs Craig Cook Derek Sneddon © Theo Pijper R/R Joe Tabaka Claus Vissing James Sarjeant (guest) Max Fricke Redcar Bears Ulrich Ostergaard Hugh Skidmore Matej Kus Mickey Dyer Aaron Summers © Carl Wilkinson Max Dilger
  20. Don't really see how where you are based has got to do with the Calibre of rider you sign. Mainly it is going to be down to what your club can afford to pay out on a rider without bursting the bank.
