  1. Dry at the moment but supposed to be light showers form around 2 up till 6 then clear for the rest of the night so should be all systems go for tonight.
  2. Liam Carr will be at number 6 tomorrow for the monarchs weather doesn't look to good for tomorrow night but will hopefully brighten up by then.
  3. The monarchs went down by 8 to an impressive Rebels side on Tuesday so it should be a cracker on Friday as the boys in blue & gold try to pull back the deficit. So it should be an absolute cracker of a meeting. Vissing is hoping to be all good for Friday and we are yet to name a guest for the injured Davey. While Somerset have sacked both reserves in a shock move and brought in Charles Wright and Lewis Rose. This should make the rebels even tougher opponents as Wright will probably score more than the previous reserve pairing did on their last appearance, this will make the rebels favourites to go through. Teams for Friday Edinburgh Craig Cook Max Fricke Theo Pijper Joe Tabaka Claus Vissing Liam Carr (G) Derek Sneddon Somerset Jason Doyle Kyle Newman Josh Grajczonek Alex Davies Nick Morris Lewis Rose Charles Wright
  4. Should be another close one Vissing only scored 5 when there earlier in the season so R/R should get around the same or hopefully more Morley is probalby not going to score but either did Bates the last time. As long as we keep it within a 10 point deficit, we should be able to pull it back in the second leg.
  5. Well that was easy for the home boys tonight against a very poor rye house side. Score line could of been a lot worse if it wasn't for the 0 - 8 (thats right a 0 -8) Lykke started off like a house on fire and faded, would just like to say Mr Lykke have a word with yourself your attempted pass on Vissing was never going to happen without someone coming off. It was just reckless and not needed. The rest of the Rockets shouldn't have bothered turning up as they were useless except Mellgren who was at least on the pace. Onto the home boys Cook majestic as ever making it look easy, Max was the quickest he has been all season at the dale, unfortunate to lose out on his paid max in heat 15. Theo great max for his 4 programmed rides and well backed up by wee Joe and captain Deek. Would to like to with young Josh all the best hope he isn't to sore as he was in he wars tonight and to Claus as well as it looked another nasty one for the big man. Hopefully they will be okay for Tuesday.
  6. So accordIng to the monarchs website garrity isn't fit enough to ride so they are now looking for a guest to replace him.
  7. Anybody know how Garrity's pracitce went tonight? If so is he fit enough to ride or will it be a guest?
  8. After lasts weeks fabulous match which will be very hard to top we have the in form rockets at the Dale. With Josh Bates replacing the injured Mitchell Davey for the rest of the season and Rye House having Jason Garrity back (all going well in his practice tomorrow) it looks a rather tasty match. Teams for Friday: Edinburgh Craig Cook Max Fricke Theo Pijper Joe Tabaka Claus Vissing Josh Bates Derek Sneddon Rye House Oliver Allen Pontus Aspgren Jason Bunyan Tyson Nelson Anders Mellgren Kasper Lykke Jason Garrity
  9. Branford was of off gate 3 and Vissing was of off 4 they both made the gate with Claus trying to get across his opponent into the first bend they locked together straightened up and went flying through the fence and a high speed. Nobody was at fault it was just one of those things.
  10. Just read all for pages of this some of he stuff people are saying about just makes me laugh!!! Anyway he was going to ride last night and rode tonight and scored a paid max, so what's all the moaning about! Mon the Cookie Monster!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Fantastic nights racing at the Dale!!!! good tight meeting all the way through with fantastic racing. the last 3 heats were great with rebels 8 down going into heat 13 to then pull that back to 4 going into to heat 14 for the pairing of Bates and Tabaka to then pull of a 5 - 1 of their own to then put the monarchs 8 up again before Cook pulling of a fabulous outside pass on Doyle in heat 15 to gain the monarchs all 3 points. Special mention to Josh Bates though what a performance this man put in to beat Jason Doyle in his 3rd heat to then win the crucial heat 14 as well was absolutely fantastic! Can the promotion please sign this young man up for the rest of the season.
  12. Roynon has already been replaced by your number 1 for saturday.
  13. Another solid away performance by the boys in blue & gold and 4 points to go with it! Captain Deek is in a rich vain of form right now hopefully he can keep it going. But hope mitchell is okay sounded nasty and hope it is not as bad as feared. get well soon mitch.
  14. This week the table topping Somerset Rebels make an appearance at Armadale with a big hitting top 3 of Doyle, Grajczonek and Morris. The boys in blue & gold will need everyone firing to secure all 3 points on Friday. Line ups for Friday: Edinburgh Craig Cook Max Fricke Theo Pijper Joe Tabaka Claus Vissing Mitchell Davey Derek Sneddon Somerset Jason Doyle Kyle Newman Nick Morris Alex Davies Josh Grajczonek Simon Lambert Stefan Nielsen
  15. The tigers will have Scunthorpe's Josh Auty guesting for the injured Simon Stead plus Oliver Greenwood guesting at reserve for Damien Koppe as well, while the Monarchs will be at full strength and looking to kick on from Sundays victory at Glasgow. Teams for Thursday: Sheffield Josh Auty (G) Joe Haines R/R Ricky Wells Andre Compton Dakota North (G) Oliver Greenwood (G) Facundo Albin Edinburgh Craig Cook Max Fricke Theo Pijper Joe Tabaka Claus Vissing Mitchell Davey Derek Sneddon
  16. He might not even ride those 6 meetings as he might decide to change his mind again!
  17. good performance by the 'smug lot' today to take a convincing victory. Less said about the tiggers the better as they are rotten. But taxi for Mr Mcgregor as he was horrid. Heat 5 was a shambles fair enough Cook jumped at it first time but he didn't the second time he just made a great start but not according to the ref as he seems to think that he jmped it again so excludes him. then he excludes Max for delaying the start for some strange reason as max was first out of the pits when the fresh 2 minutes came on and was at the tapes and ready but hey ho we got the 5 -1 out the heat anyway as Cookie picked both tiggers off from 15 meters in no time.
  18. After a great scottish open last week we see the return of some league racing. this week the tigers are here not our poor friends from the west those other ones from over the border. Mr Andrew Tully will be guesting for Simon Stead at number 1 and Robert Branford will guest at reserve for Damien Koppe which will make Sheffield stronger opponents than they would have looked nford Teams for Friday: Edinbrugh Monarchs Craig Cook Max Fricke Theo Pijper Joe Tabaka Claus Vissing Derek Sneddon Mitchell Davey Sheffeild Tigers. Andrew Tully Joe Haines Ricky Wells Andre Compton Adam Roynon Robert Branford Facundo Albin
  19. Will take a point from that one. chucked the win away after being up then having a poor run of heats in the middle of the meeting but at least we never came away with nothing. Good to see Tabaka back to form as well after being poor for the last few weeks.
  20. Agreed! No my rider but even then any rider who is badly injured should get everyones support no matter what team you spport
  21. Get well soon Ricky, hope it is not as bad as it sounds. But hope that it's not true about scunny fans shouting that it serves him right for knocking howes chain off. the less said about these people the better. the sport would be better of without these disgusting people. I hope they are sitting in there homes right now feeling horrible about what they have said.
  22. Firstly well done to the tigers on reaching 40 away from home as it's an improvement! Now onto this post how can a side be strong that 1.) is bottom of the league and 2.) have not won a match for over 2 months!?!?!? Can you please explain that one? Or was it supposed to be a joke which to me doesn't look like one
  23. A bit like Barker then as he keeps getting himself involved in these situations.
  24. The scotsman isn't the best paper for actual fact! As the reporter makes up most of his articles so don't read to much into what Mr Campbell has ''apparently'' said.
  25. At the Edinburgh meeting Cook was interviewed by Scott Wilson during the meeting about Thursday's incident. Cook himself said that what he did was wrong and was not like him to react in the way that he did and he regrets it big time. He also said that Barker made a comment when going by him in the pits which he then reacted to by giving him a wee slap round the back of the head then it all kicked off from that point. He also said that the Ref was right to chuck him out of the meeting because of the way he acted in the changing rooms. Was told by someone tonight who usually get all the inside information on things and is very reliable when it comes to information on things like new signings etc that Cook was chucked out for the way he acted in the changing rooms and him and Barker were then both given £350 fines each for the altercation in the pits. The person also said that this incident between Cook and Barker had nothing to do with what happened in heat 1 but with what was said on twitter between the two and because of what happened at the 4's with the crash involving Cook, Tungate and Bellego as Barker was running his mouth about Cook when he was standing outside of his van after the meeting so that people around could hear him. From what this person has told me they were just as bad as each other IMO, if Cook didn't get chucked out of the meeting for the way he acted in the changing rooms we probably wouldn't still be talking about this as it would have been put down as handbags between the two an we would have all moved on.
