  1. Ben Barker is back............. then gone before the meeting has even finished! poor lad haha Well CL your boys took one hell of a beating!!! Only really Lanham, Risager and sort off Barker were on the pace the rest rotten. Now onto the home boys Cook majestic, Derek was Derek, Theo was fast apart from 15, wee joe was fast all night and deserved more than the 5 he got, Claus had one of his better armadale performances, Young liam was very impressive again and Max was fantastic and never looked like he had been away. Got to laugh at CL when tungate fell he was out kicking the dirt at the 3rd bend and looking at it as there was something wrong with it, trying to find an excuse as always!
  2. So abandoned after 2 heats. Bit of a dilemma here when is the rearranged fixture going to be??? as all premier league fixtures need to be finished by Monday (i think ) if not someone will correct me. We are at home tomorrow, Ipswich Thursday, home again Friday and Newcastle Sunday, while Workington are holding the GB V AUS test match on Saturday so the only available dates are Wednesday or Monday.
  3. Should have no problems getting this meeting on tomorrow as it's supposed to be dry all day tomorrow. Jacobs in for Hawkins makes no difference really as Jacobs won't be a threat. Hopefully Max will be okay for Tomorrow as he is hoping to be fit.
  4. Maybe he would of scored more than usual but not as many a Bellego did today not a chance. Lets be honest if this was lets say a league match and both teams had full strength sides the outcome would have been the opposite of today's that's for sure.
  5. So we try again after the original match was called off. The monarchs will have Henning Bager at reserve in place of Max Fricke who is hoping to make his return on Friday. Likely Line ups for Monday: Workington Richard Lawson Rusty Harrison Kyle Howarth Terio Aarnio Rene Bach Ashley Morris Chris Mills Edinbrugh Craig Cook Derek Sneddon Theo Pijper Joe Tabaka Claus Vissing Liam Carr (G) Henning Bager (G)
  6. Well that was embarrassing!!!! How many times are we going to let Glasgow pick whoever they want in these SC matches because every time we do we are on the receiving end of a pumping! Derek and Joe showed no interest what so ever and were stinking. Barrett don't even know why he took the booking as he rode as if he didn't want to be there as he crawled around at the back. Pass marks for Matty, Theo and Vissing. As for Glasgow select they could only beat what was put in front of them which they well and truly did. Bellego scored a good 8 or 9 more than what Thomson would which was one of the reasons behind our defeat and the reserves as well.
  7. Seems like there is a change of plan we now apparently have Matty at number 1 for cook and Barrett at 7 in place of max.
  8. Not a great fan of these Glasgow select v edinburgh select matches. As they usually come back to bite us in the bum. So Glasgow have replaced the Dane who has a serious injury and can't ride today with bellego who's average is double thomsons and grajczonek for screen. While we have tommy fenwick at reserve for Mitchell davey and Matty wethers for the injured fricke, we are also running R/R for cook who has a virus. Can see us actully getting beat today as the tiggers have strengthened and we have weakened our side.
  9. So henning hager guest for max fricke on Friday who hasn't recovered in time from his horrible crash last week. This makes the witches stronger at reserve but we have the stronger top 5 so should be a closer than people think
  10. Another tough meeting for the boys in blue & gold with the witches making an appearance this time. Max is hoping to be fit for Friday but will be very doubtful so a guest can be used. As for the witches they will have Ashley Birks guesting at number 1 for the injured Ben Barker and will also have a guest in Kasper Lykke for the injured Ritchie Hawkins who always seems to get injured or a illness of some kind when ever he is supposed to be at Armadale but that's a different story. Line ups for Friday: Edinburgh Craig Cook Derek Sneddon Theo Pijper Joe Tabaka Claus Vissing Liam Carr (G) Max Fricke (if fit) Ipswich Ashley Birks (G) Cameron Heeps Rohan Tungate Leigh Lanham Morten Rasiger Adam Ellis Kasper Lykke (G)
  11. Well done the lions on your win! But performances from captain deek and wee Joe like that at such a critical stage of the season is not what is needed tabaka mainly down to machinery as it usually is! Points lost in my opinion but still more to be won so we will just need to put that one behind us and move on to the next bring on those pesky witches!!! Oh forgot to say well done to cookie on beating his track record in heat 1 then 5 then 15 as well he is some man!!!
  12. There is a very good chance that it will be R/R for max tomorrow after his heavy crash tonight.
  13. Another great night at the Dale between these two teams!!! First of all would like to wish Max and Kyle all the best as it looked nasty! Would of liked to of seen us pull it off tonight and we probably should of but due to an under performing Vissing which is understandable due to the pain he has been in after the heavy crashes he has had in the last few weeks and going from 4 - 2's to 3 - 3's as well cost us. But on the plus side we all get to see 2 fantastic legs of speedway all over again!!!!
  14. Dry at the moment but supposed to be light showers form around 2 up till 6 then clear for the rest of the night so should be all systems go for tonight.
  15. Liam Carr will be at number 6 tomorrow for the monarchs weather doesn't look to good for tomorrow night but will hopefully brighten up by then.
  16. The monarchs went down by 8 to an impressive Rebels side on Tuesday so it should be a cracker on Friday as the boys in blue & gold try to pull back the deficit. So it should be an absolute cracker of a meeting. Vissing is hoping to be all good for Friday and we are yet to name a guest for the injured Davey. While Somerset have sacked both reserves in a shock move and brought in Charles Wright and Lewis Rose. This should make the rebels even tougher opponents as Wright will probably score more than the previous reserve pairing did on their last appearance, this will make the rebels favourites to go through. Teams for Friday Edinburgh Craig Cook Max Fricke Theo Pijper Joe Tabaka Claus Vissing Liam Carr (G) Derek Sneddon Somerset Jason Doyle Kyle Newman Josh Grajczonek Alex Davies Nick Morris Lewis Rose Charles Wright
  17. Should be another close one Vissing only scored 5 when there earlier in the season so R/R should get around the same or hopefully more Morley is probalby not going to score but either did Bates the last time. As long as we keep it within a 10 point deficit, we should be able to pull it back in the second leg.
  18. Well that was easy for the home boys tonight against a very poor rye house side. Score line could of been a lot worse if it wasn't for the 0 - 8 (thats right a 0 -8) Lykke started off like a house on fire and faded, would just like to say Mr Lykke have a word with yourself your attempted pass on Vissing was never going to happen without someone coming off. It was just reckless and not needed. The rest of the Rockets shouldn't have bothered turning up as they were useless except Mellgren who was at least on the pace. Onto the home boys Cook majestic as ever making it look easy, Max was the quickest he has been all season at the dale, unfortunate to lose out on his paid max in heat 15. Theo great max for his 4 programmed rides and well backed up by wee Joe and captain Deek. Would to like to with young Josh all the best hope he isn't to sore as he was in he wars tonight and to Claus as well as it looked another nasty one for the big man. Hopefully they will be okay for Tuesday.
  19. So accordIng to the monarchs website garrity isn't fit enough to ride so they are now looking for a guest to replace him.
  20. Anybody know how Garrity's pracitce went tonight? If so is he fit enough to ride or will it be a guest?
  21. After lasts weeks fabulous match which will be very hard to top we have the in form rockets at the Dale. With Josh Bates replacing the injured Mitchell Davey for the rest of the season and Rye House having Jason Garrity back (all going well in his practice tomorrow) it looks a rather tasty match. Teams for Friday: Edinburgh Craig Cook Max Fricke Theo Pijper Joe Tabaka Claus Vissing Josh Bates Derek Sneddon Rye House Oliver Allen Pontus Aspgren Jason Bunyan Tyson Nelson Anders Mellgren Kasper Lykke Jason Garrity
  22. Branford was of off gate 3 and Vissing was of off 4 they both made the gate with Claus trying to get across his opponent into the first bend they locked together straightened up and went flying through the fence and a high speed. Nobody was at fault it was just one of those things.
  23. Just read all for pages of this some of he stuff people are saying about just makes me laugh!!! Anyway he was going to ride last night and rode tonight and scored a paid max, so what's all the moaning about! Mon the Cookie Monster!!!!!!!!!!!
  24. Fantastic nights racing at the Dale!!!! good tight meeting all the way through with fantastic racing. the last 3 heats were great with rebels 8 down going into heat 13 to then pull that back to 4 going into to heat 14 for the pairing of Bates and Tabaka to then pull of a 5 - 1 of their own to then put the monarchs 8 up again before Cook pulling of a fabulous outside pass on Doyle in heat 15 to gain the monarchs all 3 points. Special mention to Josh Bates though what a performance this man put in to beat Jason Doyle in his 3rd heat to then win the crucial heat 14 as well was absolutely fantastic! Can the promotion please sign this young man up for the rest of the season.
