  1. he excluded Cookie 3 times when at rye house earlier in the season for touching/demolishing the tapes! as he likes to hold the tapes a bit longer than other ref's, so no rolling a loud tonight then by the looks of it!
  2. You can't help it sometimes paulco it just instinct Anyway Mr Jimmy Greives certainly rolled back the years on Sunday pleasure to watch so he was!
  3. And they probably haven't heard of you either so what's your point?
  4. What exactly do you mean by ''brought him back down to earth''???? Can't wait to hear what pathetic reason you will probably have! I think it was aimed at jamlad's pathetic excuse of a post!
  5. Well we made hard work of that one against an average comets side. Thought we were poor tonight concidering how well we have been going at home recently but we got all 3 points which is all that matters.
  6. Don't usually start them till Wednesday night! So not been the best start to the week after some local thugs caused thousands of pounds in damages to our hospitality lounges! but the show must go on and we welcome Workington in the PLay-offs! For Edinburgh Theo and Claus will swap places at 3 and 5 and young Liam Carr will again guest at number 7. For Workington they will have R/R for Tero Aarnio, who's rides can be taken by the reserves and Rusty. Should be a comfortable home win as the comets don't usually have the best record around the Dale. Teams for Friday: Craig Cook Derek Sneddon Claus Vissing Joe Tabaka Theo Pijper Liam Carr (G) Max Fricke Workington Richard Lawson Rusty Harrison Kyle Howarth Tero Aarnio R/R Rene Bach Ashley Morris Chris Mills
  7. Once again workington guest gets them points but that's speedway! Could of been so much better though if theo didn't fall on that 5 - 1 and then lost a 4 - 2 in the rerun or cancelling out our 5 - 1 in 13 by losing one in 14 but sh!t happens i suppose! well done to cookie in getting his two maximums over the meeting he has been immense for us this season!
  8. He has been doing second half's at glasgow and edinburgh for a wee while now. That is really about it.
  9. When was greenwood PL? or am i missing something here!
  10. So the return of the replay which is virtually over now after Somerset won by a massive 26 point margin in Wednesday which has kind of took the edge out of this match for tomorrow. Either way I hope it's still a cracker of a meeting. Teams for friday: Edinburgh Craig Cook Derek Sneddon Theo Pijper Joe Tabaka Claus Vissing James Sarjeant (G) Max Fricke Somerset Jason Doyle Kyle Newman Alex Davies Josh Grajczonek Nick Morris Charles Wright James Mcbain (G)
  11. Simply not good enough form certain members of the team! You can not be performing like that at such a crucial stage of the season especially with the play-offs coming up in the next few days! Well done to Somerset they can only beat what is in front of them and they certainly did that!
  12. Right you stop trying to cause trouble some of us a very touchy and might take that to heart!
  13. So here we go again after two fantastic legs in the first running of the semi final! Should be another cracker with the rebels hoping to take a bigger lead to the dale this time with the monarchs looking to keep it closer than the last time. Hard one to call with the rebels having Wright at reserve at the oak tree arena this time and Edinburgh having Max back at reserve instead of Derek Teams for Wednesday: Somerset Jason Doyle Kyle Newman Nick Morris Alex Davies Josh Grajczonek Charles Wright Oliver Greenwood (G) Edinburgh Craig Cook Derek Sneddon Theo Pijper Joe Tabaka Claus Vissing James Sarjeant (G) Max Fricke
  14. Any guest for Morris (within his average of course) as he is higher than Mills (3.15) Morris (3.66). Not a lot out there to choose from for Workington. Or ourselves as all the usual NL league guests are riding. Can see Max cleaning up at reserve which could turn the tie completely.
  15. So Peterborough v bell Vue has been postponed tomorrow so Cookie will line up at number 1 for the blue & gold tomorrow!
  16. Still don't understand why Cook is getting slated for heat 15!!!! What were people expecting him to do, get off and shove and wait for the other 3 to catch up and hope Tabaka got past one of the Ipswich riders and that Cook didn't get past himself? Cook done the right thing clear off and win the race and give Tabaka the rest of the track to try and make a pass unfortunately that didn't happen so there isn't a lot that can be done about it now!
  17. They will let you in the stadium and call it of at 3pm take your money and run!
  18. How can you team ride with your partner if your partner is at the back?
  19. It's a NL guest! (probably Liam Carr/James Sarjeant)
  20. Will probably be Liam Carr again as wee seem to be using him a fair bit and he has scored everytime he has ridden for us as a guest and obviously max.
  21. Ben Barker is back............. then gone before the meeting has even finished! poor lad haha Well CL your boys took one hell of a beating!!! Only really Lanham, Risager and sort off Barker were on the pace the rest rotten. Now onto the home boys Cook majestic, Derek was Derek, Theo was fast apart from 15, wee joe was fast all night and deserved more than the 5 he got, Claus had one of his better armadale performances, Young liam was very impressive again and Max was fantastic and never looked like he had been away. Got to laugh at CL when tungate fell he was out kicking the dirt at the 3rd bend and looking at it as there was something wrong with it, trying to find an excuse as always!
  22. So abandoned after 2 heats. Bit of a dilemma here when is the rearranged fixture going to be??? as all premier league fixtures need to be finished by Monday (i think ) if not someone will correct me. We are at home tomorrow, Ipswich Thursday, home again Friday and Newcastle Sunday, while Workington are holding the GB V AUS test match on Saturday so the only available dates are Wednesday or Monday.
  23. Should have no problems getting this meeting on tomorrow as it's supposed to be dry all day tomorrow. Jacobs in for Hawkins makes no difference really as Jacobs won't be a threat. Hopefully Max will be okay for Tomorrow as he is hoping to be fit.
  24. Maybe he would of scored more than usual but not as many a Bellego did today not a chance. Lets be honest if this was lets say a league match and both teams had full strength sides the outcome would have been the opposite of today's that's for sure.
