  1. Had been dry all day until about 5 o'clock when it started to drizzle but it just got heavier the closer the meeting came to starting! just need to settle for the GP tomorrow then
  2. Hopefully the forecast improves a little as it doesn't look the best for later on tonight
  3. Najjer has got a point though Kalle can't take 7 rides a meeting when he moves up into the main body of the team. It will make the devils top 5 stronger but will make them a lot weaker at reserve as benko isn't going to bang in double figures week in week out from reserve
  4. Well we kick off our league campain against the tigers not the ones from down the road but the other ones from sheffield spearheaded by the heat leader trio of Stead, Roynon and Lanham. Edinburgh will be looking to make it 9 form 9 while sheffield will be looking to stop our run by taking an away victory. Edinburgh to win by 10+ Teams for Friday Edinburgh Craig Cook Aaron Fox Max Fricke Derek Sneddon Sam Masters Justin Sedgmen Steve Worrall Sheffield Simon Stead Simon Nielsen Leigh Lanham Taylor Poole Adam Roynon Andre Compton Josh Bates
  5. The sheffield semi looks like the harder one to qualify from IMO.
  6. Not to sure if it was ment or not but i thought it was quite funny when "help" by the beatles was played over the P.A system after heat 14!
  7. Make that 8 for 8! Aaron fox is just going from strength to strength which is good to see. Track looked slick and dusty very hard to pass on. gate 1 was a graveyard even cookie couldn't make a gate off it! Feel sorry for the Glasgow fans they deserve better than that. What happened to Wolbert he was fantastic on Friday and looked like a novice today with a duck egg. Lemon blew an engine at the start in his first and was then pantsafter that. On a more positive note i thought berge was great today fast out the traps and had the pace to match after that.
  8. After another victory in the bag we travel west to face our old rivals the tiggers in our final match in the league cup we will be looking to go 8 for 8 but glasgow will be looking to put a stop to that. The suns supposed to be out which is never a good thing when you head through there .(i know terrible joke just couldn't resist) We need to bit sharper tomorrow if we want to keep this winning run going if we are not i i think a defeat will be on the cards. Glasgow Kevin Wolbert Dimitri Berge Rusty Harrison Mark Lemon Theo Pijper Kasper Lykke Anders Thomsen Edinburgh Craig Cook Aaron Fox (samatha fox) Max Fricke (golden child) Derek Sneddon (desperate Deek) Sam Masters Justin Sedgmen Stevie Worrall (lesser Worrall)
  9. Thought we were poor tonight especially after the way we have performed over the last few weeks but we got the job done which in the end all that matters. It was like watching last season all over again tonight stinking from the gate and having to do it the hard way but it's not bad to watch mind you when you have cookie giving full gas round the air fence! Hopefully we will be a bit quicker from the traps on Sunday and make it 8 from 8 but not to sure if we will though.
  10. Once again welcome the tiggers from along the road to the Dale. the boys in blue and gold will be looking to make it 7 out of 7 come firday evening. As always Glasgow can't get a full 7 to the dale with their two danish reserves missing for this one. I beleive they will be getting replaced by James Mcbain and Chris Widman but not to sure. Edinburgh might have to run R/R for the skipper if he is still not fit, if that is the case his rides can be taken by Fox, Fricke and the flying reserves due of Sedgmen and Worrall. Monarchs to win by 30. Edinbrugh Craig Cook Aaron Fox Max Fricke Derek Sneddon (or R/R) Sam Masters Justin Sedgmen Stevie Worrall Glasgow Agent Wolbert Dimitri Berge Rusty Harrison Mark Lemon Theo Pijper James Mcbain (G) Chris Widman (G)
  11. good chance he has all ready had an bad one during the week at poole.
  12. Well what can we say about this Edinburgh team!!!! Fantastic Didn't think we would win at Berwick we did! didn't think we would win tonight we did comfortably as well against the team faniced ny most to win the league this year! thats the last time i ever doubt this team this season, thats for sure. 10 points is way better than what Derek would of got but who would of thought Cookie would of scored 10! won't be very often Worky will use a T.R at home this season!
  13. You clearly have never seen Richard Lawson ride Armadale then!
  14. Edinbrugh will travel south for the return match after a comfortable win last night at Armadale. the comets will be looking for a similar scoreline tonight but in their favour. Edinburgh will be operating R/R for sneddon who has a back injury from his crash last night his rides can be taken by the reserves, fox and Fricke which makes us a little stronger IMO. Hopefully mills will turn up on time tonight instead of around heat 7 like he did last night. Should be another cracker. Comets to win by 8. Workington Josh Grajczonek Mason Campton Ricky Wells Kyle Howarth Rene Bach Chris Mills Ashley Morris Edinburgh Craig Cook Aaron Fox Max Fricke Derek Sneddon R/R Sam Masters Justin Sedgmen Stevie Worrall
  15. Didn't look like losing tonight solid performance once again a little blip half way through the meeting other than that looked comfortable. Though aaron was unlucky to get excluded as Campton was constantly locking up and grinding to a hault all night in the middle of the bends, but means nothing now as it hasn't effected the result in the end. Cook - tried to team ride aaron round in heat 1 but it all got a little to tight so cleared off. again untouchable aaron - made a couple of decent starts but just lacked pace Max - was fantastic tonight really looked the real deal this evening Deek - fell hurt his back and withdraw. hope he isn't out for to long Sam - had better nights but still done okay Justin - rode well, nice and solid Stevie - great again tonight struggled in his last coulpe when it got a bit slicker Josh - best i have seen him ride the dale Campton - made good starts then kept pulling massive lockers and basically stopping in the middle of corners Wells - had better nights at the dale Howarth - poor apart from the one ride when he made a gate and was all over the place infront until the he eventually fell off in spectacular style rene - expected more as he has done well before Mills - when he eventually turned up around heat 7 (god knows how he was so late) should have just stayed home Morris - still can't gate and looked a little short on speed
  16. This weeks podcast features Alex Harkess, Tony Jackson and Ricky Wells for anyone that is interested. http://www.edinburghmonarchs.co/podcasts/category.asp?cat=Monarchs_Podcast
  17. Well after an unbeaten start to the season we come across our toughest tet yet the Workington Comets The team which is fancied to lift the PL title at the end of the season spearheaded by former tigger Josh Grajczonek and backed up by Bach and Wells. Weather is good for the rest of the week so no problems on that front Edinburgh to win by around 10-12 points. Expected line-ups for friday: Edinburgh Craig Cook Aaron Fox Max Fricke Derek Sneddon Sam Masters Justin Sedgmen Stevie Worrall Workington Josh Grajczonek Mason Campton Ricky Wells Kyle Howarth Rene Bach Chris Mills Ashley Morris
  18. Of course my team isn't worth following even though we have the most PL titles since it was formed but don't let that get in the way of your judgment
  19. A section you can't keep away from yourself unfortunatly!
  20. Okay there is nothing wrong with a little bit of handbags now and again but to kick someone who is on the ground injured and can't defend himself is okay though?
  21. He doesn't really get the chance as is he usually gone by the time everyone has exited the 2nd
  22. I would yes! I am mr blobby after all so i would have some good padding on me for protection if it went wrong!
  23. BSPA should have one of their "investigations" and give hall a serveral month ban! What type of person kicks another man while on the ground injured??? I know a pathetic loser who is an complete coward!!!!! Richard Hall should be ashamed of himself he hasn't just let himself down he has let down Redcar speedway and it's fans! Hope Redcar sack him for this!
