Didn't expect us to wim today but i suppose some things never change another monarchs win at ashfeild! Wolbert - poor Berge - got better as the meeting went on Harrison - rolled back the years today. with some great riding Lemon - Average Pijper - didn't have his best meeting Lykke - done what he was signed to do Thomsen - can't gate t save himself but trys like a bear and rides the fence. very entertaining Mighty monarch/team smug Cook - untouchable Fox - looked good in his first one until went to wide and got passed then after had bike problems (again) for the rest of the meeting Max - looked quick tonight and even made a couple of gates Deek - had a stinker. mainly down to having bike problems all afternoon Masters - very good back up to Cookie this afternoon looked quick in all his races and great first turn in 15 Sedgmen - looked a bit down on pace today apart from the race he won Worrall - fantastic didn't look like getting beat today very quick out of the starts. Unlucky to lose out on his maximum to thomsen on the ling but was a great pass by the dane. Could be the trump card for us this year if he keeps going like that. But on a sour note he wrecked his bike after the race when he crashed into the fence. Was actual some good racing today (i know shock) Harrisons pass around the outside on bends 3/4 on Max and Justin was superb Max looked to his left and didn't realise Rusty was on his outside and by the time he did it was to late. then thomsen on Sedgmen same bend last lap to take third riding around the fence another great ride. the race with Worrall and thomsen was another great race thomsen hunting worrall down for 4 laps then getting him on the run to the line to take the win. Very enjoyable afternoon at ashfeild hopefully more of the same on our next visit.

Forgot to say last night well done to the promotion on getting through the meeting a great pace. referee closed the meeting at 8.58pm last night only if all meetings could run at that pace. -

Good meeting to start the season track seemed very grip at the start with everyone drifting out to the fence. Once it slickened of a bit the racing got better. Didn't look like we were going to win by 12 at all until we got going in the second half of the meeting, in saying that could have been more if it wasn't for foxs exaust falling off when in 3rd and sedgmens primary chain snapping while in second giffting the tiggers a 1-5. Cook - as expected breezed through the meeting Fox - struggled with bike problems all night looked better in last two rides especially in his last until his exaust decided to depart from the bike Max - still can't gate but was quick when got going Deek - fortgot how to gate in his first two rides then got back to his usual self in last 2 Sam - very impressed with him for his first meeting can only get better Justin - not going to be at reserve very long and quick all night unlucky in hos third with an EF Worrall - looks like he loves a dive bomb up the inside into turn 3 and was very good and fast in his last 2 tiggers Wells - impresive looked quick all night Lemon - soli as expected theo - wasn't at the races tonight but still scored a solid 7 Berge - first to test the air fence out struggled a bit but can only get better for young man Rusty - done his usual good couple of races a last and a fall the reserves lykke was steady all night same as thomsen looked quick in his last trying to pass deek -

meant 13 and 14! my bad -
Either way he has bought a lot of new gear so he can do both leagues to then to find out a day before P&P his services are no longer required! now he has all this gear that he no longer needs and probably lost a lot of money because of it.

The way Glasgow have set there team up for Friday is a bit strange leaving themselves a bit weak in heats 13 and 14. and 15. Should be about 25 odd up by the time these heats come along it won't really matter! -
He wasn't that bad on Saturday looked like he could still do a decent job for someone. Kept up with Max when he was out

So the speedway season is upon us and as always the tiggers form along the road will make an apperance at the Dale. Edinburgh will be a full strength for this one but Glasgow as always when we seem to meet can't seem to put a full team together, they will have Ricky Wells guesting for Mr Wolbert as he is riding in the pairs for Germany. This one could be close as Glasgow have 2 ex monarchs in pijper and Harrison (would be 3 if wolbert was riding) plus lemon who has done his fair share of laps round the dale himself. Edinbrugh having Fox, Masters,Sedgmen and Worrall making their home debuts. One thing i can confirm is it will be frezzing so wear as many lairs as possible! line ups for Friday: Edinburgh Craig Cook Aaron fox Max Fricke Derek Sneddon Sam Masters Justin Sedgmen Steve Worrall Glasgow/Edinburgh B Ricky Wells (G) Mark Lemon Theo Pijper Dimitri Berge Rusty Harrison Kasper Lykke Anders Thomsen

yup the really do that made 3 changes before a wheel has been turned really taking care of their riders that

P & P today was cold to say the least. good turn out as well. track looked in good shape with the air fence in place. good to see some speedway again though mr sneddon looked one of the faster riders on show today which was very suprising but he has got the engine that tabaka used last seasoon which might explain it. Aaron fox looked like okay as well once he got used to the track. but riders always look good when there by themselves it's when there are 3 other riders next ot them when you can make a real judement.

The same could be said for you! As you are a Poole fan after all.
