  1. You obviously don't watch him that much then! Didn't see us winning that one especially with max having a off night and carrying a NL rider and Deek (who seems to be getting worse) but we did so........... 16 unbeaten now for the boys in blue & gold fantastic effort!
  2. If you ever spoke to craig you would know why he isn't riding abroad.
  3. How we only scored 58 is a mystery! If it wasn't for the exclusion of max, Deek being pants in a couple of his races we would have hit at least 60. not seen a glasgow side so bad since that we average dropping match. Maybe they were up to their old tricks? Anders Thomsen was the only one that looked interested, Theo looked like he had never seen the place before, Lemon was towing a caravan and agent wolbert didn't turn up till heat 13. Justin sedgmen deserved his heat 15 tonight looked very tidy tonight.
  4. with a average of over 7 in the EL must be a pretty good team that for him to be at number 2 or 4.
  5. You do realise that Porctors average isn't actually a 3 right?
  6. Because they are the same we can pick who we want to have at reserve.
  7. As long as we can take advantage of the races that Rose and the 2 reserves are in our strength in depth should see us through for another away victory.
  8. Basically because it is craig cook we are going to make a big song and dance about it if was any other rider we wouldn't be having this ridiculous discussion right now.
  9. So his attitude stinks because he is disappointed and annoyed that he didn't win? Just shows he is ambitious and wants to go out and win races nothing wrong with being angry and annoyed at getting beat. Anyway disappointed we didn't get the win couple of falls cost us a point but still unbeaten after 14 matches. Hopefully we will make it 15 tomorrow against the tigs.
  10. IMO the entertainment and the fan zone in the city centre are good things to have. The fan zone gives you something to do during the day mingle with fellow speedway fans from all over the world. Also for familys with children gives them something to do pre meeting. Personally i love my going to cardiff for the GP travelling down on the Friday. Waking up Saturday morning go down for Breakfast get ready then head out to the city centre and soak up the atmosphere around the stadium, pubs and fanzone before heading into the stadium for the pre meeting entertainment. (some better than others).
  11. Heat 11 belter between Palm toft and morris throwing the bikes at each other. then after that race they say the track isn't race-able and call it off! What!!!!!
  12. So what's the latest on the weather front in the big bad west?
  13. It should be a lot closer than the last time anyway. Weather looks a bit iffy but if it goes ahead I think we will win by 4.
  14. Comfortable win in the end started well then we kind slackened off a little and done the job that had to be done. now thats 13 in a row so lets go make it 14 on Sunday. Special mention to Aaron Fox though after last weeks crash to then go and bang in paid 9 was fantastic he seems to just keep getting better meeting by meeting witch is good to see.
  15. Expect us to take all 3 points tonight but it could be harder than all the other home matches we have had this season. With King, Robson, Lindgren and Kerr (if he gates) all capable of winning races. I think our strength in depth will be the difference tonight. Edinburgh by 12.
  16. So the draw has been made. Workington v Peterborough Edinburgh v Sheffield
  17. that was awful! the meeting dragged on forever the racing was crap, the track shape was crap. Basically from the gate unless you made a mistake. Funnily enough though Harris had his best GP on a gaiters paradise.
  18. Hope Josh gives you all a wave! Don't want world war III to start!
  19. His thigh hit the screw on his thottle. His suit was actually holding everything together until they cut his suit up.
  20. the track was a bit iffy to start which i think caught the home boys out for the first half of the meeting. The track then settled and we rattled of 5 straight 5-1's then it was game over for the witches. Got to feel for Aaron started of so well unbeaten by an opponent in his first 2 rides then for that awkward looking crash in his 3rd. His thigh got got on his throttle when the bike just stopped when it got caught in the fence. He has a very nasty gash right down his right thigh, it has gone all the way down to the bone hence why they thought his femur was broken. Apparently he was sitting on the track picking at bits of fat coming out his thigh and flicking it away. Hopefully he won't be out for to long. Also congrats to Hawkins for finding his way to the dale.
  21. can only see us making it 12 from 12 and Hawkins pulling a sickie on Friday morning.
