  1. was in the stadium around 6.00 - 6.15 the track was perfect and the ground was dry, then around 6.45 these big dark clouds appeared and the heavens open not long after the track was still in good condition till around 7.15 when the rain got heavier and by that point the track was gone past attempting to fix IMO.
  2. Interesting change in riding order for the diamonds with Kerr at 2 and Rose at 4.
  3. Seems a bit like the thomsen last year. Season is over bring in an assessed 7 point rider he rides heaps of scrap metal for the rest of the season until he gets a proper average (witch will see him at reserve for next season). He will then bring over decent bikes the following year (like thomsen) and clean up from reserve. Very clever thinking from the tiggers
  4. Back league racing this wee after an entertaining Scottish open last week. We welcome back the Newcastle diamonds this week spearheaded by Danny King. Edinburgh should be at full strength as long as Max Fricke comes through his danish meeting tonight no idea about the diamonds. Edinburgh to take all 3 points. Teams for Friday: Edinburgh Craig Cook Justin Sedgmen Max Fricke Stevie Worrall Sam Masters Aaron Fox Derek Sneddon Newcastle Danny King Lewis Kerr Stuart Robson Lewis Rose Ludvig Lindgren Simon Nielsen Chris Mills
  5. Just because he is scoring well in the EL doesn't mean he is going to do the same tonight. He is up against far better riders who he rides against in the GP series where he struggles to score points.
  6. love your optimism but it won't be a toss up for 3rd GB will come last Woffy v Ward - woffy will edge it Harris v Holder - Holder all day King - Batchalor - batchalor all day again Stead v Doyle - same as above
  7. Aaron fox was reserve for the USA on Saturday but was set to guest for Workington the following day before it was cancelled
  8. I have said on several occasions now that Craig wants to ride abroad he has also had offers but has rejected them due to not having enough finances to make that jump just yet. As usual though the every one else on her knows what best for him.
  9. of course he won't he will no longer be their highest averaged rider.
  10. With the new averages coming out a see that Theo has gone to number 1 with a 6.57 average.
  11. If congratulating the team on twitter is spitting the dummy then you need your head checked
  12. Yup well done GB beat a 2 man Aussie team and a one man USA and Italian team.
  13. Even though harris was signalling at the traffic cone and not batchalor
  14. Rossco originally had cook in his 4 before Cardiff after persuading cook to ride in the world cup because he didn't want to as his form was poor. He then decided to change his mind After Cardiff and bring in king instead of cook after seeing him not do to well that night.
  15. Interesting read in this weeks speedway star about cookie and rossco. Cookie said to him that he didn't want to do the world cup this year as he has been very inconsistent but Rossiter begged him to ride because he wanted him to be in his 4 then seen him not do so well at cardiff then changed his mind and bring in King instead of him. So the team was going to be Tai Harris Stead Cook
  16. Of course the racing was boring tonight the bandits riders were 2 bike lengths behind going into the first corner in every race apart from one when the wild riding jensen made a gate but cook lined him and dived under him exiting the 4th bend. There is generally more passing at edinburgh than other tracks in in league but we will just say it's a trick track tonight and to hard to ride because your team was p!sh.
  17. With claus missing as well now that going to make a tough task for the bandits even tougher. On a different note we are allowing young Dimitri Berge a wee spin in the second half and who says we are no kind to our pals from the west.
  18. Well after back to back defeats will will be looking to get back to winning ways by pulling back a 12 point deficit after a poor performance in the first leg. The monarchs will be at full strength for tomorrow, berwick on the other hand will be missing Matej Kus who is riding in his home land and his place will be taken by youngster Nathan Greaves. Monarchs to win on the night and on aggregate. Teams for Friday Edinburgh Craig Cook Justin Sedgmen Max Fricke Steve Worrall Sam Masters Aaron Fox Derek Sneddon Berwick Claus Vissing David Bellego Sten Jensen Matthew Wethers Kevin Doolan Liam Carr Nathan Greaves (G)
