he rode for sheffield last season and was pretty poor hence why he attained a 4.19 average.
-
If Kyle newman is the best prospect in british speedway! Darcy Ward didn't get pished the night before the GP!
-
They probably see him as a better prospect because he is younger than Cook!
-
it's easier for people like Newman though youger and has a lower average and less of a gamble than cook at his age with a higher average.
-
well it's not that bad then in that case.
-
the post was set up for a smug reply and i just couldn't help myself but give one. comes with being a monarch

Kennett and lawson will Miss a Good few Meeting both missing 5 fridays each for a start
-
how many points he scores will depend how many rollers he gets away with. Now waits on cookie comments.
-
No need to hand us it we all ready have it along with a few others!
-
My point is he didn't ride in the PL in 2014 and we were hoping that we got a reduction for him for that reason but we never so it doesn't really matter now.
-
okay then didn't ride in the PL at all during 2014! that better
-
Care to explain what we get away with??? as i'm up for a laugh
-
His average is 0.10 to high. Apparently we did try and see if we could get a reduction seeing he was out for a year through injury but he didnt get One.
-
What part of he hasn't been able to get a deal do people not understand??? Fair enough if he hasn't tried to get a team place in Poland or Sweden but he has and hasn't been able to get one for one reason or another! Due to him not getting a deal abroad and there not being enough meetings in the EL to make a living he has to ride the PL to make one what part of that do people not understand!!!
-
correct he is only 16 was looking at speedwayresults page and the had him born 3/10/95 when he really he was born 25/1/98 i think the are a bit of the mark with his date of birth. Well in that case even better prospect than i first thought
-
So many Criag Cook experts on here! Why don't one of you become his manager and help him get a place abroad i'm sure it will be gratefully appreciated. Anyway back on topic would like us to get Michael Hartel as our final signing doing very well in Germany and was impressive in the best pairs were he got a couple of 3rd places and still only 19 years of age.
-
he did for the play-offs in case of an injury.
-
Apologies, but still he has had more bad meetings than good meeting looking at his results.
-
Yes he did do that 11 months ago but looking at his results he has only scored well in 2 or 3 meetings that being one of them the rest have not really been that impressive like only last week in the NSW titles he scored 5 with a win in his last race against some wobblers. think he would struggle to hold a 5.00 IMO but if he does go on to be a better rider than that then i will be happy to eaat some humble pie.
-
you have lost the plot!
-
so last year they try and get brady Kurtz on a 3.00 and it's then the BSPA fault because they told them he was a 3 when it was clear he wasn't. Thiis year they try and get Jack Holder on a 5.00 and it's then the BSPA fault becuase they told them he was a 5.00 when it was clear he wasn't. Strange that!

At the Video night when the promotion were talking about our new signings they said that Kevin is a confidence rider and that he had none at Glasgow it had all been drained from him but when he comes over this year they plan to build that back up again and hopefully he will become the Kevin Wolbert we know he can be. He has bought new engines as well for next year so hopefully his performances will improve.

So because he doesn't ride abroad at the moment makes him have no ambition? how do you know for a fact that he hasn't looked for a team place abroad? you don't thats the simple answer. Maybe teams don't want him, 27 comes over on a 6.5 average and never road abroad before. maybe it's not financially worth it. There could be loads of reasons why but to say it is due to lack of ambition is rubbish.
-
Ah but gavan knows everthing about what Craig wants to achieve!
-
It's hilarious all this cook doesn't want to ride abroad rubbish! The only people who say this are the ones that don't have a clue about what craig wants to do with his career. Craig himself thought be wouldn't be back next year at Edinburgh but that hasn't happened due to not getting a deal abroad more than likely.
