The promotion have a good track record when it comes to bringing in assessed riders than most in the league. To win the World long track championship at just the age of 18 speaks volumes as to the talent the lad has. just because he does longtrack doesn't mean he can't ride armadale look a people like Franc, Kylmakorpi, Pijper, Smolinski all riders that can do pretty well round smaller tracks. If he can scores more away from home than at home thats fine as we have riders at home that can cover for him easily. At the end of the day it could go either way he could turn out to be another Dilger or be a Wolbert! If he turns out to be Dilger changes could be made very quickly if he is a Wolbert we are laughing our way to another league title!

http://www.edinburghmonarchs.co/news/article.asp?id=1906 Erik Riss completes the monarchs comes in on a 5.00 point average
-
Erik Riss it is then http://www.edinburghmonarchs.co/news/article.asp?id=1906 welcome aboard young man
-
okay then riders who are not very good
-
Having watched Allen in the NSW titles a few weeks ago on his performance in that meeting wasn't very good but when he did hit the front in his last race he looked to have a bit of pace but he was up against wobblers. the scorecard for anyone interested http://www.kurrikurrispeedway.org.au/Results%202014%20NSW%20Open%20500cc%20Speedway%20Solo%20Championships.pdf

HELLO EARTH TO STARMAN!!! garry may has said he is a 7.00 just like we are saying he is a 7.00. so by your theory garry may is also a clueless clown as well then
-
you basically just summarized yourself here.....
-
the rules state that all Aussies come in on a 7.00 what part of that are you finding difficult to understand?
-
it's not difficult to understand all Aussies need to come in on a 7.00 point average now and not a 5.00! even someone with very little brain cells like yourself should be able to understand that. Even Jenga understands the rule and if he can anyone can
-
he rode for sheffield last season and was pretty poor hence why he attained a 4.19 average.
-
the post was set up for a smug reply and i just couldn't help myself but give one. comes with being a monarch
-
how many points he scores will depend how many rollers he gets away with. Now waits on cookie comments.
-
No need to hand us it we all ready have it along with a few others!
-
My point is he didn't ride in the PL in 2014 and we were hoping that we got a reduction for him for that reason but we never so it doesn't really matter now.
-
okay then didn't ride in the PL at all during 2014! that better
-
Care to explain what we get away with??? as i'm up for a laugh
-
His average is 0.10 to high. Apparently we did try and see if we could get a reduction seeing he was out for a year through injury but he didnt get One.
-
What part of he hasn't been able to get a deal do people not understand??? Fair enough if he hasn't tried to get a team place in Poland or Sweden but he has and hasn't been able to get one for one reason or another! Due to him not getting a deal abroad and there not being enough meetings in the EL to make a living he has to ride the PL to make one what part of that do people not understand!!!
-
correct he is only 16 was looking at speedwayresults page and the had him born 3/10/95 when he really he was born 25/1/98 i think the are a bit of the mark with his date of birth. Well in that case even better prospect than i first thought
-
So many Criag Cook experts on here! Why don't one of you become his manager and help him get a place abroad i'm sure it will be gratefully appreciated. Anyway back on topic would like us to get Michael Hartel as our final signing doing very well in Germany and was impressive in the best pairs were he got a couple of 3rd places and still only 19 years of age.
-
Apologies, but still he has had more bad meetings than good meeting looking at his results.
-
Yes he did do that 11 months ago but looking at his results he has only scored well in 2 or 3 meetings that being one of them the rest have not really been that impressive like only last week in the NSW titles he scored 5 with a win in his last race against some wobblers. think he would struggle to hold a 5.00 IMO but if he does go on to be a better rider than that then i will be happy to eaat some humble pie.
-
you have lost the plot!
-
so last year they try and get brady Kurtz on a 3.00 and it's then the BSPA fault because they told them he was a 3 when it was clear he wasn't. Thiis year they try and get Jack Holder on a 5.00 and it's then the BSPA fault becuase they told them he was a 5.00 when it was clear he wasn't. Strange that!

At the Video night when the promotion were talking about our new signings they said that Kevin is a confidence rider and that he had none at Glasgow it had all been drained from him but when he comes over this year they plan to build that back up again and hopefully he will become the Kevin Wolbert we know he can be. He has bought new engines as well for next year so hopefully his performances will improve.
