  1. That said sponsor wasn't even there on Sunday matter of fact he wasn't even in the country. he was doing a bit of fishing and Craig bit big time
  2. I think he has taken your comment the wrong way hence his reaction but hopefully when he sees you and your son next he will appologize and everyone can move on from this. BTW hope ryan has a good season at Stoke came a long since the first time i seen him round armadale.
  3. I'm not defending him what he said was out of order but you were looking for a reaction of him and you got one albeit out of order.
  4. If you had one heat 1 craig would you still have moaned i don't think so just wear more tear offs next time with a couple of laughing faces at the end was your exact words. You were looking for a reply and got one. yes there was no need to bring your son into and he apologized for that but you were looking for a reaction and you got one. Anyway lets leave it at that and move on.
  5. "Monarchs co-promoter John Campbell today said: “There were special circumstances that meant the match had to go ahead. But there wouldn’t have been many league matches that would have taken place in such conditions. But Glasgow, for obvious reasons, wanted the match on.” From today's EEN As john Campbell says it wouldn't have went ahead if it was a normal meeting. A glasgow club official even told an edinbrugh fan that the meeting would have been off any other week but they decided to run it anyway. Lets not consider riders safety as we need to show off our fancy new stadium.
  6. Just because Cook took to twitter to moan about the track doesn't mean he was the only rider moaning.riders from both sides didn't really want to ride
  7. the only thing negative about today was the track the meeting shouldn't have started. if it wasn't for the new owners and all the changes and improvement it wouldn't have went ahead.
  8. threatened! blobby is not worried about what glasgow will do this season. they might be better than last year but they will still finish below us.
  9. Neither team really wanted to ride they only did becuase of all the work that had been done for the start of the season and due to the size of the crowd that was their to watch. Must admit though stadium is looking good is wonderful what a lick of paint can do must of been around 1,500 there today.
  10. there is a difference between water on the track an it being waterlogged. today it was waterlogged. riders having to take there goggles of after only a lap and half due to not being able to see shouldn't happen
  11. Not at all nobody was seriously hurt witch is the main thing. Visabilty was poor track was heavy and hard to turn the bike. Shouldn't have started.
  12. With it being their first meeting i know they wanted to get it on but that was a joke it shouldn't have even started. Cook and Sedgmen having to pull up a lap into the first race and take their goggles of becuase they couldn't even see. Tack was like slush riders rolling round at times as they couldn't even turn poor show. Spent all that money and havn't even got rid of the holes going into bends 1&3. On a side note hope young Riss is okay took a couple of sore ones today. hopefully be fine for Friday.
  13. wouldn't take Rustys advice if a track is raceable or not if a track is in even in slightest bit wet he doesn't want to know about it.
  14. Erik will be able to get round the dale with ease. I know he was riding himself but considering it was the first time he had seen the place he looked pretty impressive, went a little wide on bends 1&2 a couple of times but other than that looked good. He is only going to get better as well with each week he rides the place. Next Friday when he has 3 others beside him we will see how he handles that but from todays showing looks promising. Craig Cook‏@the_cookstar I've never seen a rider come to the Dale and attack it like that first time out, Erik Riss! round of applause young man that was class
  15. So it will be captain Cookie for 2015. Seems like we have signed the right Riss as well as he took to the tight bends of Armadale like a duck to water with his all action leg trailing style unlike his brother who came out twice and ended up in the air fence twice. William Lawson was also out on track again like he always seems to do when P&P comes around.
  16. Team will line up like so for the 2015 season Craig Cook Justin Sedgmen Kevin Wolbert Erik Riss Sam Masters Max Cegg Rob Branford Strong top two in Cookie and sedgy again witch is good to see. bit worried about erik at 4 though especially if the meeting is still on the line but knowing us most meeting will be wrapped up by then so it won't really matter. P&P tomorrow practice starts at 4pm and open to the public.
  17. the record breakers/treble champions/ team smug will line up like this come Sunday afternoon weather permitting. Craig Cook Justin Sedgmen Kevin Wolbert Erik Riss Sam Masters Max Clegg Rob Branford Cook and Sedgmen back together again and rightly so after the amount of 5-1's they banged in last year. Might leave us bit weak at 3 and 4 though depending on what Kev shows up while Erik finds his feet. Monarchs 5-1 in heat 1 it is to set the tone for the day.
  18. How? It's challange match for riders to test their bikes and get race ready for the season to start. it's like in football a pre sesaon friendly the result doesn't matter as long as the players get fitter and more match sharpness.
  19. Couldn't care less what the result is as long as the boys get some good track time and get themselves match sharp for when the real stuff starts.
  20. it's not a trick track i'm telling you okay!
  21. Touchy bunch these eagles. it's like several starman2006 on this page.
  22. Have they banned dogs from entering their stadium as well?
