Teams for Friday Edinburgh 1. Sam Masters 2. Erik Riss 3. Kevin Wolbert 4. Jye Etheridge 5. Ryan Fisher 6. Max Clegg 7. Dan Bewley Glasgow 1. Richard Lawson 2. Ben Barker 3. Ritchie Worrall 4. Nike Lunna 5. Aaron Summers 6. Coty Garcia 7. Danny Ayres Hopefully the weather improves for a start so we actually see some speedway. It could go either way but I fancy the tiggers to edge by about 2-4 points. -

Meetings? He's done one for Newcastle, were he had fixed his clutch problem from the night before. -

Not what I meant. We can get the best out the rider. Like Wolbert or Sedgmen. -

His bikes this year are are better than they have been the last few years and if anyone can get the best out of him it's us. -

He's invested more in his equipment this year than he in the past few years. -

We've yet to actually ride on a dry track which hasn't probably helped. Sam has started the season on fire. Kevin has been okay. I know Erik and Ryan have both had clutch problems. I believe both have now found the issue. Max needs to better away from home. Jye and Dan are going to take time but are improving hopefully they get a chance to ride on a track that's not wet and heavy for a change and get a better idea of what they're capable of. All a matter of opinion of course. -

That's what we are doing looking at the bigger picture. That's what your failing to see. We are fine with losing the first few matches at the moment as long as people like Jye and Dan begin to find their feet so to speak. As long as they continue to develop and score a few points each we will be fine as the other boys will do the majority of the job. -
Edinburgh have priority of both Clegg and masters if there is a fixture clash.

I'm here don't panic. Congrats to the bandits on the win, deserved it. The track was very wet and gating was the aim of the game last night on what was a very difficult track to pass on. The bandits were far quicker out the gate and thats all she wrote I'm afraid. Sam was in a class of his own. Max deserved his paid 10 great effort from him. Erik, Kevin and the fish were all far to inconsistent hopefully it's just lack of riding and that inconsistency will disappear. Jye and Dan were far more competitive last night and are improving all the time which is good to see. Can see another defeat next week with our friends from the west coming through. -

And we've payed £15/16 to score 50 home and away against you for the last 3/4 years? So whats your point? You stated earlier you've not been going over the last few years smell a bit of glory start attending again. You've won one meeting and you seem to think the leagues over. -

As I've said previously we won't win anything this year. I see this year as more building for 2017 with the likes of Riss, Clegg, Etheridge and bewley. -

Walk over our bottom 4. Only Pijper and Carr will out score their opposite numbers so would hardly say walk over. Our top 3 will more than likely out score theirs by a far greater margin. Home win by 12. -

I don't think we'll win anything this year but I still think we'll make the top 6. I see this year as more of a rebuilding year with us looking to 2017 with guys like Etheridge, Riss, Clegg and Bewley. The last two season have been more than anyone could of asked for and you need to enjoy those moments while we can (you know being extremely smug about everything) as you know they aren't going to last forever. -

I don't understand how people are righting us of after our first match of the season away to what is a good Glasgow side. We had someone who rode his first ever meeting in this country and another riding only his second ever meeting. Don't know what people were expecting. -

Hard to judge on todays performance with 2/3 not at the races at all. Give it another few weeks till the season gets going a bit and then will probably have a better idea of how the season is going to pan out. -

First of all congrats to em them on the win, i know a win against us doesn't happen very often so enjoy while it lasts. With it being our first match of the season not that bothered about the result, but would of been nice to keep it a little closer than what it was. Sam lead the way like a true number 1. Jye got better as the meeting went on just needs some time. Was unlucky with his exclusion IMO and just rode to tight a line when passed by Garcia. The Germans had the speed but were so poor from the gate it made no difference. The Fish seemed a bit rusty and hitting the tapes and getting a puncture while 3rd didn't help either. Max was very poor should be beating people like Ayres and Garcia IMO. Young Dan seemed to struggle a little at times but will improve with time. Roll on Friday.
