  1. Not expecting much tomorrow to be honest. Jye and Dan will probably struggle to score and with a few boys not had a meeting yet this year as well. Should be a fairly comfortable home win.
  2. Been cloudy all day so far but extremely windy. The sun is trying to break out as we speak.
  3. Could be a long night tomorrow going by the aces performance Tonight.
  4. After a long winter we finally get our season under way. Rather than the mob along the M8 opening the season we have the Aces of the EL coming to join us. Unfortunately for us Sam and Max are riding for wolves in the EL, so we've drafted in Ricky wells and Theo pijper as cover. Theo will ride in the main body of the team with Jye dropping to reserve for this one. For the aces no zagar with Matt Williamson coming in at reserve and Steve Worrall moving into the top 5. Personally think we will have done well if we score 35 points against what is a strong belle Vue side. Line ups for Friday Edinburgh 1. Ricky Wells 2. Theo Pijper 3. Kevin Wolbert 4. Erik Riss 5. Ryan Fisher 6. Jye Etheridge 7. Dan Bewley Belle Vue 1. Craig Cook 2. Steve Worrall 3. Max Fricke 4. Ritchie Worrall 5. Scott Nicholls 6. Joe Jacobs 7. Matt Williamson

  6. This will please woffys number 1 fan Robert.
  7. It's fine, plenty of league winners on show though. Just the 7 actually.
  8. At the rate he's improving i see no reason why not.
  9. Not bad at all for his first ever meeting and only going to get better
  10. Maybe if he does well enough he won't.
  11. Dan riding in his first official meeting tonight for Belle Vue against a decent Cradley side. Hopeful all goes well.
  12. It's the passport bit he's still waiting on.
  13. every other team has a NL reserve apart from us, so who else is it going to be.
  14. If he can improve his gating he'll score a few points, certainly got the speed.
  15. It's not really a proper Coventry team though is it. Plus it's a challenge match so means nothing in effect.
  16. I would think so, but if the NL 3 pointer is still a thing in 2017 i would like to think he would be a serious option.
  17. Now that the rules on mobile phones have changed I see no reason why not.
  18. Ryan Blacklock, Rob Shuttleworth and Dan Bewley were the NL boys along with Mitchell Davey. Think we can rule out Blacklock as he spent more time in the fence than actually on his bike didn't look comfortable on the track at all. Shuttleworth was steady adn looked not bad. Bewley for how long he has been riding was great but his gating is terrible but something that can be worked on over time and is certainly one for the future, But at this stage in his career i don't know if he's ready to make the step up just yet. Still think the preferred option is Davey but he still hasn't got his passport yet. Aside from all the Number 7 stuff it was good to see our team for the year out on track. Out of all the boys last night the most impressive was definitely Erik Riss, expect him to be pushing near a 7 point average come the end of the season. As for the Etheridge he struggled a bit last night but got better near the end of practice. Think he will need a bit to settle in and get used to the track, but signs were there that he should be fine once he gets dialled in.
  19. You've got cracker in Dan bewley. Was one of the riders at Edinburgh tonight and was very impressed by him considering how long he has been riding certainly not scared to give it some throttle. Might have another cookie on your hands.
