The brothers know fine well what they're up. Giving us bad press at every opportunity they can and trying to hurt us financially.
We will continue to go about our business as we always have done and well not give in to the bully tactics from the west.
The only Friday of the season we don't run is the Cardiff weekend pretty common knowledge.
All this could of been avoided by your promotion picking a different night but they choose to keep trying to intimidate with their cash but it's not going to happen.
As I said in a previous post I think our objection to the meeting being held will get dismissed anyway.
Seems the brothers have gone in a huff again. It doesn't actually say anywhere in the statement that you can't ride on the Friday. Just says we've objected to it. The BSPA will more than likely reject it IMO as we have that date down as reserved.
On the other hand you could of choose a different day yet you choose a Friday. After what happened previously why pick a day knowing that it might cause a problem.
It was owned by the Cochrane family, who bought the stadium 3 years ago. Over that time they had done slight improvements to make things better and had become fans off the speedway also, even attending some away matches.
The owners of Armadale Stadium have indicated they will undertake a public consultation on a proposal to change the use of the land to residential. The consultation will take place at the stadium on 18 April from noon to 8pm.
This was posted by a local politician of the armadale area in last half an hour not exactly the news you want to here with the season only a month away.
