  1. It's the passport bit he's still waiting on.
  2. every other team has a NL reserve apart from us, so who else is it going to be.
  3. If he can improve his gating he'll score a few points, certainly got the speed.
  4. It's not really a proper Coventry team though is it. Plus it's a challenge match so means nothing in effect.
  5. I would think so, but if the NL 3 pointer is still a thing in 2017 i would like to think he would be a serious option.
  6. Now that the rules on mobile phones have changed I see no reason why not.
  7. Ryan Blacklock, Rob Shuttleworth and Dan Bewley were the NL boys along with Mitchell Davey. Think we can rule out Blacklock as he spent more time in the fence than actually on his bike didn't look comfortable on the track at all. Shuttleworth was steady adn looked not bad. Bewley for how long he has been riding was great but his gating is terrible but something that can be worked on over time and is certainly one for the future, But at this stage in his career i don't know if he's ready to make the step up just yet. Still think the preferred option is Davey but he still hasn't got his passport yet. Aside from all the Number 7 stuff it was good to see our team for the year out on track. Out of all the boys last night the most impressive was definitely Erik Riss, expect him to be pushing near a 7 point average come the end of the season. As for the Etheridge he struggled a bit last night but got better near the end of practice. Think he will need a bit to settle in and get used to the track, but signs were there that he should be fine once he gets dialled in.
  8. You've got cracker in Dan bewley. Was one of the riders at Edinburgh tonight and was very impressed by him considering how long he has been riding certainly not scared to give it some throttle. Might have another cookie on your hands.
  9. P&P tonight 7 o'clock start be good to see some sort of speedway, even though it's only practice. Also I see that Ellis Perks has been released by the IOW currently without a team in either league and we need a number 7. Seems a no brainier.
  10. Power packed pairing at 1/2 wonder who they got that from.
  11. The boy certainly knows how to ride a bike. Great talent who I look forward to watch progress again this season.
  12. All that was said was everyone was still waiting. But if that's classed as all is well in your book then crack on.
  13. Your enjoying this. It's as if you actually wanted it to fail.
  14. Still waiting. Plenty time first official match isn't for another 2 weeks yet.
  15. Is Danny not having to do his own equipment this year? As I don't think he's part of that team anymore with less Kerr. That might have an effect.
  16. Correct the BSPA should have worked with the clubs to find the best possible date to run the meeting instead we've ended up with this mess.
  17. Probably, but all this should have been dealt with privately rather than turned into a public spat.
  18. Totally agreed the whole saga is getting tiresome, but as he says a simple phone call would have stopped all this, who would of thought.
  19. That's the one for the belle vue match the other press release about Glasgow statement is on the Edinburgh thread.
  20. The belle Vue meeting scheduled for the Saturday 2nd of April will now be moved forward a day to Friday the 1st April.
  21. What a strange thing to try and brag about.
