Edinburgh V Workington Ch 5/5/17 @ 7.30pm

Steve didn't have one bike. He bent his first first one and had to jump on his second that wasn't really set up for Armadale hence why he struggled. Wouldn't say we were fantastic again tonight but a lot better than last week and we'll need to better next Friday or we could be on the end of a defeat. -
Probably the best time to be facing us at the moment after two dodgy performances last friday and saturday. To add to that our star man at the moment Mark Riss won't be there as he is away at a GP qualifier and Berwicks Dany Gappmaier will replace him. Also not to sure if Josh will be riding either as we will make a late decision if he will ride or not after breaking 2 fingers at Glasgow on Saturday night. If not fit R/R will be used, which will weaken us even further. The comets will be without Craig Cook who is also away on GP qualifier duty and his place will be taken by one of the stars of our treble winning side in Steve Worrall. Could go either way this one but hopefully we can do enough to secure the win. Teams for friday: Edinburgh Sam Masters Josh Pickering or R/R Erik Riss Max Clegg Ricky Wells Dany Gappmaier (G) Mitchell Davey Workington Steve Worrall (G) Mason Campton Ty Proctor Adam Roynon Thomas Jorgensen Matt Williamson Rob Shuttleworth

Just as i thought we couldn't perform much worse from the previous night we some how manged it. Can't remember the last time i seen a Edinburgh side so bad out of the gate. Other than Mark Riss we were very poor. Hope Sams not feeling to sore this morning apparently his shoulder popped out then back in again. Fair play to the Tigers though can only beat what's in front of you and they certainly done that. Hopefully that's a wake up call for the boys. About as much as you enjoyed the football.

Well our gating tonight was shocking couldn't make a start if our life depended on it. Took us 7 heats to even to get going even then we weren't that great. 4 points to defend but at least it's a lead. Good to see the majority of the team out after the meeting practising. -

You're a week early -
I'm sure you'll be on the losing side come tomorrow evening as well.

He helps lift the sheets of the dog track at the end of the meetings, but I don't think he's fully there but could be wrong.

Edinburgh V Redcar Ch 21/4/17 @ 7.30pm

Another good win for the boys on what was a slicker track than normal that some of the boys struggled with set up wise. Great to see max back to his old self in his last two rides hopefully that's that corner turned. We were only 8 points up at a crucial part of the meeting and put out our stronger reserve to increase that lead nothing wrong with that. Nobody has anything against Mitchell he's doing the job he wa brought into do and I'm pretty sure everyone is happy with him. -
Mark will be good for 5-6 points a meeting been very impressive for us this season. Improved massively at the end of last season and hasn't shown any signs of dropping that form so far. Personally feel sorry for Max as the way the wolves team was built with him as senior reserve wasn't going to work as he isn't ready for that role yet. I'm sure he'll get it right and bounce back as everyone up here at Edinburgh is behind him.

Lovely day weather wise so there should be no problems with the track unlike last week. -
Should be a tougher test than last week. the Bears stronger at number one with Worrall in place of Garrity who was a family funeral. R/R will operate for Wright who will be riding for his Premiership side. Home win by 12. Line ups for Friday Sam Masters Josh Pickering Erik Riss Max Clegg Ricky Wells Mark Riss Mitchell Davey Redcar Richie Worrall (G) Coty Garcia Charles Wright R/R Jonas B Anderson Ben Barker Richard Hall Ellis Perks EDIT: announced tonight at Redcar that Anderson won't be there tomorrow night and is replaced by rob Branford. Surely Redcar would of known that he wasn't going to be there tomorrow before tonight. EDIT 2.0: Anderson now riding again

Easy night for the boys even though a couple of them weren't at their best. Track was tricky with the heavy shower that fell in the afternoon making the track heavy and patchy. Erik, Sam and Ricky didn't even look like getting beat last night very impressive.
