  1. If Max rode away like he does at home i don't think there would be a problem. He has scored 2,1,0 in 3 away meetings, which is very poor considering he is riding against NL riders now, that he beats 9 times out of 10 in the NL. If he can score 3/4 away from home he's done his job IMO but at the moment his performances on the road just haven't been good enough yet. I hope the lad can turn it around though as i think he is good rider as he shows at home every week.
  2. Your not wrong and we certainly didn't do a lot of that tonight.
  3. who said anything about scoring? still couldn't beat him though.
  4. Humped, pumped, smashed what ever way you want to put it just not good enough. Campton scoring 9 kind of sums things up. I expected us to get beat but not quite as bad as we did. Only Erik and Kevin put up any sort of a fight by the sounds of it. Can't say anything about Sam as he's carried us all season so far and it just seems like he's had a horrible night, or Dan as he's still so raw. The Fish seems to be down on speed, Jye bikes seem to pack up a lot which is a worry. Max away from home is a major worry he hasn't kicked on if anything has went backwards, if he doesn't start improving he might lose his team place IMO.
  5. Anyway back to the actual meeting comets to win this by about 12. Think our top 4 will match the comets but our bottom 3 will struggle seeing the home boys over the line.
  6. Decent way to start our PL campaign with a win. Not that great of a performance tonight but just as well it was only the Comets or it could of been another defeat. Good return from Sam, Ryan and Erik (apart from heat). Kevin started and finished well but went missing in his middle two rides. Jye is slowly getting there along with Dan. Max seems to be down on confidence big time at the moment not the same rider as last year. For the comets Wells was great as always round the Dale. Other than that only Hansen and Jensen looked like doing something. Roynon don't know why he even bothers shocking.
  7. A Friday were we don't need to worry about the weather for a change. Hopefully a good win, with both Jye and Dan getting a couple of points.
  8. Well looks like we are actually going to get a dry Friday for a change as we kick off our league campaign against the comets. Won't be easy with track specialist Ricky wells and the inform Kenneth Hansen. Can see a home win by 10. Teams for Friday: Edinburgh 1. Sam Masters 2. Erik Riss 3. Kevin Wolbert 4. Jye Etheridge 5. Ryan Fisher 6. Max Clegg 7. Dan Bewley Workington 1. Ricky Wells 2. Rasmus Jensen 3. Kenneth Hansen 4. Mason Campton 5. Claus Vissing 6. Adam Roynon 7. Matt Williamson
  9. Masters will be to far infront of roynon anyway for anything to happen.
  10. No, by putting their number 8 as the R/R in heat 10 and leaving Doolan to ride on his own in heat 12. Leaving Pijper to take the R/R and Carr to have his 7th ride in heat 14 would of gave them a better chance of a point or even a win, but don't let your agenda get in way though.
  11. Poor management seems to have cost the Bandits there.
  12. Jorgensen out with a hand injury and is replaced by King Fisher.
  13. well that was unexpected to say the least. But we will take it. Sam was as expected Riss after his first 2 was very fast Kevin apart from one heat was great. His ride against doolan round the boards on bends 1/2 was differnt class. Jye struggled a bit but got going in his last with a good gate just got a bit out of shape which cost him the 2nd place but still got his first point as a monarch. That was the fish we all know and love brilliant paid max and thoroughly deserved. Mon the Fish. Clegg the only disappointment on what was a good night, he really needs to kick on at away tracks that is where we need him most not so much at home. Wee Dan with his first points as monarch and a great ride it was, then had a couple of falls from trying to hard but at least he's trying and improving with every ride.
  14. Berwick win by about 10-12 points. Should be able to match them in the top 5 but the bandits lower order we'll see them comfortably over the line.
  15. Teams for Friday Edinburgh 1. Sam Masters 2. Erik Riss 3. Kevin Wolbert 4. Jye Etheridge 5. Ryan Fisher 6. Max Clegg 7. Dan Bewley Glasgow 1. Richard Lawson 2. Ben Barker 3. Ritchie Worrall 4. Nike Lunna 5. Aaron Summers 6. Coty Garcia 7. Danny Ayres Hopefully the weather improves for a start so we actually see some speedway. It could go either way but I fancy the tiggers to edge by about 2-4 points.
  16. At least your not a happy clapper and actually attending.
  17. Ryan is happy up here, his family is coming over as well for a few months. He will be fine. He is at club that he loves and a club that loves him.
  18. Meetings? He's done one for Newcastle, were he had fixed his clutch problem from the night before.
  19. Not what I meant. We can get the best out the rider. Like Wolbert or Sedgmen.
  20. His bikes this year are are better than they have been the last few years and if anyone can get the best out of him it's us.
