  1. Could of sworn I typed local see these phones and there auto correct.
  2. Something I forgot to mention last night that I thought was great to see was a class from a local school I believe up in hospitality last night on a school trip. I believe they got a tour of the pits pre meeting, got to see all the bikes, a visit up to the referees box and got to watch a few races from the centre green also. Looked like they all had a great time, hopefully some return with their parents and become regulars.
  3. It seems they engines cookie got of Peter Johns seem to be working not to bad.
  4. If the weather plays ball. Hopefully we can keep it close enough tomorrow to get a point.
  5. Pretty solid night for most of the boys. Sam was different class, Erik was very good also apart from his last ride, Kevin solid as always, Mark has the speed just needs to find something that works from the starts and will be fine, Night to forget for the Fish seemed to get slower as the night went on. Max was good also unlucky in his second ride with fall other than that solid. Young dan just seems to get better and better with each lap he does great watching him develop. King was okay same applies for Barker. Risager hugged the white line all night for a solid return, Covatti deserved more than he got was great to watch giving it everything round the boards. Sarjeant (with his usual ride through the tapes) and the reserves were poor at best. Overall it was a good meeting not a great deal of passing but good close racing.
  6. Shame Alex ain't in charge anymore then ain't it.
  7. So do the bandits get a guest or a NL guest until a replacement is found?
  8. Both teams at full strength for this one. Can see us winning this by around 12. Teams for Friday: Edinburgh 1. Sam Masters 2. Erik Riss 3. Kevin Wolbert 4. Mark Riss 5. Ryan Fisher 6. Max Clegg 7. Dan Bewley Ipswich 1. Danny King 2. James Sarjeant 3. Nico Covatti 4. Morten Risager 5. Ben Barker 6. Paco Castanga 7. Oliver Greenwood
  9. Scunny onto there 11th rider of the season. Incredible.
  10. That's not what I'm getting at. More if he wanted to ride for GB surely he wouldn't have represented Germany this weekend.
  11. Etheridge out the elder Riss brother in. Feel for Jye it just hasn't worked out for him I'm afraid. Shown glimpses of what he can do hopefully it's not the end of his career over here.
  12. If they want to ride for team GB then fine I don't have problem with then joining the NL. If they don't then I don't see why we should allow them into the NL that is supposed to be for British riders to develop in. In this situation looks like spiller has choose Germany so as far as I'm concerned I hope the BSPA tell him no if a NL side try and sign him IMO.
  13. If that's the case why wasn't Rob Branford or Max Clegg aloud to ride at number 7.
  14. Will Cook be on a Ash-Tech engine or something completely different. Only reason i ask as i noticed he was selling 5 Ash-Tech engines the other day.
  15. Panic of another season without any silverware seems to set in.
  16. So much for having to have a NL rider at number 7 then.
  17. It's a Kinvig article, so it can't really be taken seriously. But I fully expect the usual suspects to come on and have a pop anyway.
  18. Around 2 points to play with until the end of the month.
  19. Well we certainly got out of jail big time tonight. Thank god Worrall wasn't there or the diamonds were leaving with 4 points. But well done to the boys on pulling through and getting the victory. Special mention to young Dan though great heat win in heat 4. Anyway onto next week for the the Fish testimonial hopefully he gets a great turnout.
