Peterborough V Redcar 29/8/16
Mr Blobby replied to SuperBear's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Can't believe they've not replaced Payne with Etheridge in heat 14. -
I thought the curfew was at 9pm? Cracking effort from the lads considering a thought we were going to receive a serious pumping. If the meeting had gone the distance I don't think we would of got anything but we'll take the point quite happily. Hope young Dan is okay been on cracking form of late and could really do with him being fit and hope rose is okay also.

Touchy bunch. Nothing to do with it just don't want to see a club chuck money at riders in desperation for success to see them suffer financially after. -

Wouldn't want to be paying wage bill anyway. A team that's made that many changes deserves to win nothing IMO. -

Oh the irony Glasgow fans talking about rain offs. -

Pretty sure the covers are the ones we use for the dog track they aren't actual covers for the track specifically. -

After a a better performance on the road last night we are back at Armadale tonight against what is probably the best side in the league at the moment. Edinburgh will operating R/R for fisher. For the rebels Wells guests for Josh G, palovaara in for Allen and R/R for Wright. These changes certainly make Somerset stronger. Hopefully we can pull through and come away with a victory but the rebels will take at least a point Tonight IMO if it's on. -

Well in truly pumped. Thought we would of done better than that, pretty embarrassing really. Less said about Wolbert the better. -
A track we have done well at in recent years and had some cracking meetings. Even though we have riders that do well round the oak tree arena I can't see us getting anything from this one.

Did Dan not get John and Alex texts earlier. On a more serious note good to see him continuing his good form. -

Line ups for Friday Edinburgh 1. Sam Masters 2. Mark Riss 3. Erik Riss 4. Ryan Fisher 5. Kevin Wolbert 6. Max Clegg 7. Dan Bewley Peterborough 1. Craig Cook 2. NBJ R/R 3. Tom Perry 4. Ulrich Ostergaard 5. Emil Grondal 6. Ashley Morris 7. Zdenek Holub Strange looking line up for the panthers with Grondal at 5 and Perry at 3. Not entirely sure the thinking behind that one. Can only really see cook being any sort of threat to us and maybe Ostergaard depending if he's in the mood or not. Even then should still be a fairly comfortable home win. -

Thought we had a chance at a point but to come away with 4 is some effort. Dan Bewley take a bow. -

Well we certainly made hard work of that tonight, just as well it was only Rye house. Pass marks to Sam and the reserves, mark was the worst I've seen him, Kevin and Ryan were both slow and Erik didn't get going till his last ride. Special mention to Eddie Kennett thought he was brilliant tonight very entertaining to watch. Must add glad to see all the boys walk away unharmed from those nasty crashes tonight especially the first one with Fisher and Riss. Both boys bikes were wrecked after that one. Not bad considering we had a few re-runs, two massive crashes and a rain delay. Still quicker than a standard Sunday at Ashfield I suppose.
