Also how brilliant is it to see Holder and Ward win naff all. Please dont let Holder become World Champ all the abilty in the world but his attitude when he gets beat is disgusting, the worst loser in the sport oh how i would laugh if he wins NOTHING this year

no im not happy but it was my choice to put ward in so i will always go by the rules especially when you put a lot of time and effort for a competition fur us lot to enjoy. No guarantee that Hampel wont make the top 8 he has time, however whoever drops down to 9th will be in again. The organisers are hoping Vaculik will get through the challenge then we can have the token british rider in lol

Have to ask if there is a facility for a replacement if injured before it starts i.e Ward Event one: SAYFUTDINOV, IVERSEN, HANCOCK, KOLODZIEJ Event two: WARD (if out can it be Holder?), WOLBERT, KUS, CRUMP

ah you got to laugh at some people on here! Bash ive been a speedway fan for 30 years of my 36 year life, i followed mark loram around with my aunt and uncle and always went foxhall as lakeside or arena as it was was not built and we preferred the british league to national league though we did go to rye house a lot as we live in essex. i am not an alter ego of aljack i just happen to agree with what he says sometimes but not in his context always. check where else ive posted on this forum and hopefully you will see we are not the same person. i havent been to foxhall this season as family and work are a hinderence so maybe im not the best person to pass judgement on this years side but im an ipswich fan and want us to do ewell

It must be hard for a lot of you witches fans but i have been a fan for 30 years and can you not see Aljack is right? ok i will agree he goes to far sometimes in condemnation of individuals and im not a louis hater by any means but our club is a laughing stock. the win over glasgow just glossed over how badly our team is put together and the fact that when things go wrong our management do not make changes at all just trundle along to mid table (if we are lucky). look at scunthorpe gone and got morris and now have howe morris and auty as top 3! thats 45 points against our awful top 3 everytime lol. what i am saying is they are struggling and did something about it!

Lol Jepsen Jensen again hey lets give him a permanent wild card!! it should be a young pole most definatly same as when jepson jensen got the danish one and how i would imagine Tai will get our one! just waiting to see what gp they give Ward because chances are he will be the only wildcard that will be capable of actually winning a meeting thus taking points off the top boys. would be interesting when he is in the same race as Holder if he is chasing the world title!!

they didnt just use him for that reason although wouldnt suprise me anything ford did with the win at all costs attitude. Im not going over the end of may/ all season debate on AM its been done to death. There isnt just 1 reason why Poole are disliked there are numerous and again they have been flogged to death. Its a shame as your club has good support the best two riders and racers in the world really yet time and again your promotion let you down and speedway in general with they way they do things and get away with it. when supporters are on here and cant understand why other speedway fans get annoyed about it then it adds more fuel to the fire, you need to realise what is right and wrong with your club. Im an Ipswich fan and believe me i loved it when we won the league but we manipulated it all when we had Gollob on a false average with an obviously improving fast Nicholls and Louis and Rickardsson and a premier league number 1 at reserve in Toni Svab. It wasnt done right or for the interests of the sport but by golly we enjoyed winning it. I wish Poole fans were the sam enjoy your success and the riders you have but accept you havent entirely been legit in doing it.

where did i say it was wrong to replace an 8.5 rider with an 8.5 rider? that is within the rules it was the way that AM was signed which is the problem here. Obtaining a 5.5 rider to stop anyone probably using him again and then making sure he stayed long enough to get his new average was the issue and to be fair 99% of this forum do see that!

Miedzinski was obviously a better rider than 5.57 and Pawlicki is obviuosly a better than 6.97 or whatever it is. Miedzinski did up his average and in my mind Pawlicki is better has more potential and so therefore will do as well if not better. You cant say AM at 8.50 is a 1.5 better rider than Pawlicki thats just rubbish! you cant compare the 2 averages. the only problem with Pawlicki is his availability so in that respect you may be weaker but not on scoring ability! Its a typical Poole thread i.e that they defend the indefensible time after time. Putting in excuses as to why they wont win the league already just in case they dont happen to, when any normal educated supporter can see they will walk it this year. They looking for the excuse that whoever comes in will make them weaker and so therefore will lose the league. It is blatant what they have done bought in someone on a false average to then make sure he doesnt leave until he gets his new average meaning they can effectively replace a 5.5 rider with an 8 point rider!! And that will make them weaker? How? Only if they replace with a 5.5 rider which they should have done at the end of May. 2012 season - the year the elite league was ruined

Averages dont come into this at all cant believe what some people write! Did any Poole fan think AM would only average the 5.5 or whatever it was he had? Everybody knew he was an 8 pointer in disguise. Its irrelevent even if Pawlicki was on a 4 average the potential is there to average far more so to say his average is lower it will weaken Poole is absolute rubbish he is a better rider with far more potential. So bring in Hampel on a 7 or Linback on a 6 and they are worse riders than AM because there average is lower? Get in the real world here! Kasprzak was the guy they wanted to fit in so please dont tell me you think he would have weakened you as well!

Lol @ homestraight. the only way you will be weaker with Pawlicki is when he dont turn up. will score more away then AM and will match him at home

Very hard to define an order of legends in any sport. Do we go by World Titles or National crowns? Is Scott Nicholls a better rider than Mark Loram as he has won more British titles? Is Havelock a better rider than Wiggy or Tatum as he won a world crown? Look at snooker as 1 example Davis v White who was the best? Davis more world titles but White much more natural. Very hard topic to assess this one. Personally ranking it on my own combination of talent and titles these are the top 3 that i have seen race i.e 1980 onwards. No dont want anyone missing in the grand final! Holder Ward Lindback Kasprzak Holta Pawlicki 1 and Pawlicki 2 whoever they have signed must all ride and somebody beats them fair and square then all the Poole fans cant claim they didnt deserve it

Sorry but the majority of the Poole fans on here are a complete joke in their knowledge of speedway. Im not saying it has happened or wether or not it will happen but if the Pawlicki brothers come in for AM and Kling/Masters your team will be STRONGER!!!!!!!!!!!! can you read that STRONGER STRONGER STRONGER not weaker as some clowns on here are saying. This is one of the reasons Poole are hated blatent rule bending, stopping assets being used, cheating, oh and add to that some idiotic supporters!! i sincerly hope that Poole do become strong and they have all their riders for the grand final and someone somewhere comes and beats them. Im an Ipswich fan so not worried who wouldnt even mind if it was Kings Lynn!! Imagine if its Lakeside v Poole the whole of the speedway community has Lakeside as their second team this year it would be the whole family v Poole lol

it is hard to nominate who we could have had or who is available now i know that but i did say on here at the start i wasnt happy with the team. Poole was a good addition and yes very unfortunate to lose him. I said Doolan was no longer a number 1 and that is proved. Very unfortunate for Risager with injuries but he is not good enough. Dak Rohan and Heeps emerge with credit and the signing of Lanham smacked of a quick fix. We are weak at the end of a meeting and 13 and 15 are huge worries. The team was poorly built at the start. Ok he is a bit of a wild thing but why didnt we move for Fisher before the start of the season or someone like Seb Alden? these guys were available but yet again we go the easy way out route the cheaper option.

to be fair i would have hoped we wouldnt have built our team to defend the fours but to try and win the league! but when the team has been built so poorly then it wasnt even a concern. i am suprised the majority of fans are happy with mid table

In a way i agree with Aljack just the way he gets his point across is all wrong. Tungate , Heeps , and North are potential and lets not kid ourselves we have badly missed Poole who could have made a big difference. Doolan is on the way down that is obvious, Risager has never lived up to his potential 5 or 6 years ago and needs to go and the signing of Lanham was a panic move. Im sorry it smacks of bad team building. we are weak in the latter stages when it comes to 13 and 15 everytime. Do they still run the pairs? If they did we would be bottom i reckon just look at the top two of other sides. SCREEN & GRIEVES ALDEN & ASHWORTH BARKER & FISHER LEMON & ROBSON AUTY & HOWE LAWSON & BACH COOK & TULLY just to name a few. I would fancy home and away we would concede a 5-1 or 4-2 to most of those everytime in 13 or 15 it needs to be changed
