  1. Might improve his riding on technical tracks if he came to us but I doubt we would sign someone who can’t ride Foxhall
  2. Loram must have been around 5 as he rode at number 6
  3. Belle Vue definitely kept the best team rider in Bewley over Kurtz Kurtz may well be chasing individual glory again and like last season let his club side down which is understandable If I was a Belle Vue fan I wouldn’t want a number one who at the business end of the season doesn’t try
  4. All of those can ride Foxhall apart from Lidsey so I would not want him on his high average when he can’t ride the home track in the right team and the right set up I’d take any of the others Rumours that Jenkins is Lynn bound
  5. Thats a daft statement to make he was a deserving world champion he scored the most points over the series You can take away some of Rickardssons titles then when he would have gate 1 followed by gate 1 and then gate one and then first pick
  6. You are entitled to your opinion and I’m entitled to disagree Nothing against Joe he was supreme to watch and I would cheer for him every race at those early 1990’s British , commonwealth and overseas finals an awesome rider The record books will show he wasn’t quite at Lorams level and it could be argued he should have achieved more We was at Odsal in 1992 and how victory against a world class field in the riders championship was amazing to see
  7. No you are wrong … Mark rode for Hackney in the top league in 1987 Hackney dropped down in 1988 and Mark dropped down with them In 1989 the Hackney promotion moved to Ipswich and Mark Chris and Moggo went as well Mark then moved to Kings Lynn in 1990 as a reserve … we went to his first meeting at home to Reading where Mark top scored with 19 I believe from 7 rides …. The only Reading rider to beat him was their new number 7…. Todd Wiltshire
  8. Mark Loram rode in the top league in 1987 averaging over 5 as a 16 year old Mark then dropped down for 2 seasons before becoming Kings Lynn number 1 in 1990 averaging almost 8 Screen started in 1989 at 17 and for 2 seasons averaged mid 6 Screen was excellent motorcyclist but was never really as good as Loram
  9. Let’s just hope the Poole track doesn’t ruin Cooper … best young rider I’ve seen for a long time but isn’t a renowned gater and I can easily see his away average being higher than his home one
  10. Chris Louis is 56…. He is married and has 2 daughters one of whom is married with children and lives in Denmark Chris and his wife Julie work tirelessly all season and the off season not only running the club but promoting it and actually doing an awful lot on race nights … they both spend a lot of days at the stadium it was their passion and livelihood …. Add on Chris’s tv commitments to this as well Yes Chris is not impressed with the way the sport is heading But do you not think at his age with a family that the time has come for him to perhaps take a rest and enjoy his personal life a bit more ? The loss of John obviously hit Chris hard and now his dad isn’t around probably sees it as the right time to make sure he is there more for his family I don’t think for one second his decision was solely based on speedway Seeing the team win the league finally …. In a year when he lost John … possibly would be the right time to just step back Sure he is annoyed at the sport and the authorities but I feel that was the final straw over something he has thought about for a while
  11. Poole have done well to get a side close to Glasgows and Oxford definitely play offs at least Rushen is a great rider but I expect his away average to be better than the home one… he isn’t the greatest trapper in the world and if Poole is going to be the same crap boring track as last season he may find it tough at home Saw it at Ipswich last season when riders got out the gate before him he struggled to get past on a track that doesn’t produce much passing Glasgow and Oxford have stronger top 5’s then Poole but the reserves can make the difference
  12. Lidsey is a mile away from being a number one Good heat leader at the NSS but I enjoy the fact he hasn’t got the skill set to overtake at Foxhall or to attack the track … must be a Belle Vue thing
  13. No Doyle No Emil and possibly no Kurtz and Holder …. Those top riders will all leave slowly but surely over the winter Brady Kurtz isn’t going to ride in England if the competition isn’t top notch why would he risk injury in a lesser league. Once one big name goes the rest will follow
  14. Poole desperately need Zach Cook to sign …. If it’s not him that’s a bang average side
  15. Ipswich is well backed …. But why?? Maybe the sponsors see how well run the club is and back the club You don’t get good sponsors by running your show badly!! Granted the sponsorship has helped secure Jason and Emil … but it’s not like the sponsor decided to go to the leagues most successful teams and sponsor them …. They chose Ipswich so ask yourself why??? Because the club was run badly or run well?
