Not days before the meeting they haven't ..they were advised in the week that they should ride the meeting as the track was not ready ...they then try to run it anyhow ......Gordon himself and the riders have said the track was not fit for purpose .

Maybe they should had control in the first place ..did the contractors tell them to race the meeting ...did they not look at the track and just thought they had done a good job .

The facts are pretty clear ..Belle Vue try to run a meeting when the track unfit for racing ..they have admitted that themselves ..what else is there to know ?

When I did claim that riders had first hand experience of it ...I said riders knew before the meeting started ....and as I said they were correct ...so are saying they guess and just got lucky ? to anyone with any common sense the info given to them was bang on the money ,

You did not have to be there to understand that riders said the track was unfit ...You also don't have to there to see that Belle Vue speedway gave out a statement not blaming the riders but saying the main concern was the track being safe and the wet winter was the problem ....you also never had to be there to see that people including riders had known that the track had massive problems days before the meeting ...so to sum it up weather you were there or not the track was not safe for racing and never was ,

Trying to cheat is incompetence of the highest order ...and so was the wolves match as they employ the track curator ....so as I said they have a terrible track record . Of course last night was of no benefit to anyone as it turned out, but if they could run a crap meeting and somehow fudge a meeting to run so no refunds were needed if was been a massive benefit to Gordon and Morton ..as it happens they never got away with it and now have a bigger problem than they did ...God knows why you had to there last to have opinion on what went on by the way, you lost me on that one .

Not sure when you been but it's hardly first time they been incompetent has it ...have you forgotten they were found guilty of cheating about why the Poole match was called off ....then the wolves match on the good Friday you could go and on and on ....there lucky still be allowed in the sport after what they did ..so not sure how you can go about then would not have done anything underhand as they have been caught before . Most people view of last night is the they the track was not ready but tried to fudge some kind of meeting so they never had to give any refunds out ..and that looks spot on to me .

I read the statement again and there is not anythink about Chris Harris or the track being rideable as you said ....so I did miss that bit because it is not on there ...so rather telling other people that they can't read and they make things up maybe should do same yourself .

Spot on ...this is the trouble with the speedway fan ..who could forget 100 page topic about allowing the Cov and Poole to start among many others and how the public were conned ...but then the next moment they want the meeting to start . I expect they never wanted to give refunds out

I Don't remember Collins and Carter turning for challenge matches on crap tracks with broken limbs etc ...I do remember Tai Woffiden turning up to gp's only being 30 % fit to gain points a couple of years ago thou . As for about them not riding the El that tells you more about the league that it does riders ..and who could blame them when things like tonight happen ...
