Of course there more to it than that ...but unless the crowds get better speedway dies a death .....a just everything that is only done by making the standard higher ..this utter madness of thinking we should run at pl level a level that has seen clubs nearly going bust and hanging on for grim death is not going help anyone . Ive Not got the answers not sure anyone has but I know one league at pl level is 100 % not the way . Just like anything is not always the money it's the value you get ..people will £ 50 for a pl football match if they think it's worth it .

ZZZ The standard guff about wanting to run like the pl thou quite clearly as Plymouth have shown hardly anyone wants to watch it ...when are you going to wake up and understand the pl is dying as much as other league .it's not working The only way forward to get more fans in and that is making the standard better just like any other sport.. it's utter guff about the bonding varied fixtures etc etc otherwise the pl would be packed with fans rather than clubs being on the edge of going broke . The first thing we need to do it's to understand that speedway is not working at all levels rather this stupid thinking that it's only at El level and somehow the pl is the way to go .because it's not .

To fair Colin we don't know why this match was first pulled off sky and then called off ....have a feeling it's nowt to do with the weather forcast .

Of course there would a bigger crowd without sky ....hence why you get the sky money when your on tv ...if sky were not involved the match would never have been on this date in the first place . W

Harris and Nicholls were always a match for Tai at Wolves ..but as has been said on a bigger track with Tai on his best engines and attitude they would not stand a chance .

I respect your opinion a lot ...and I agree with you with what you say and understand that people move on to better jobs etc ...the people who run the sport in the uk we all agree a complete mess of everything hence why the sport in on it's knees even here the way they have got abouts things on the dates etc is a complete cock up ....I just fell strongly in this case and where the sport is and with Tai being world champion he should make a massive effort to help and promote the league and the sport in the uk I don't look it like a normal 9 to 5 job etc it's more than that . Uk speedway helped to put Tai where he is I think the least he could do if he cares about British speedway is to ride in it's final .

Lets hope if they do win the cricket they stay with there clubs in England and back the game here and put something back into the sport ....I hear others turn there back on the sport in the uk that built them up

It's a system that had nearly made every World Champion ...without our leagues people Woffy ,Holder ,Crump etc would never have been world champions ....just like Woffy when they need us at the start there is no slagging off it's only when they moved on to better that that it's somehow crap etc etc . It's a fact without the wildcard he got because he choose to ride for gb he would not have been World Champion that year ..we open all the doors for him . Enjoyed the match thou both teams looked quite weak ,,,the biggest laugh was the Pole for cov going round for a lap of houour at the end ...still not quite sure why as he crap .

The system and the wildcard made him the rider he is and the riches that came with it ...Reimburse is the wrong word ...but he should have a sense of duty seeing where speedway is going in the uk and try to help out as much as he can as the uk's top rider and World champion .

Spot on... I remember at the time no one knowing would he ride for the GB or Aus ...it was quite clear that he could have got Aussie citizenship and gone that path

Maybe I am wrong but I am sure if Chris Froome as was born in Kenya would be allowed to represent them if he choose to do so ..hence in sporting terms he would be classed as Kenyan ..so no ignorance at all .
