How many league matches in Denmark and Sweden tonight ? ..we have a league with riders committed to British speedway on nights to suit operators it's called the Nl and the crowds are poor, and if we have one big league with the riders who would leave these shores the standard would only just be above that. And that if you get enough riders to fill every spot seeing we can't even do that now

First of all you can't speedway with other motor sports as there nothing like it that includes 7 man teams in 3 different leagues with riders in other leagues all over Europe . Wage caps will never work as clubs would just pay cash in hand like they always done ..People don't want to see 5 riders of poor standard who turn up every week other wise the Nl would be packed with people rather than one man and his dog watching . The bottom is line your never going to get full sides that run on the best race nights . People don't like it but unless the standard of rider and teams get better the crowds never will ..of course the old speedway fan thinks people will turn up to watch anyone because they will

I have no doubt it has .to be honest I doubt if I would go if swindon had to ride on a Monday. But as I said the crowds are down in general so if that is the norm then Belle Vue crowds would be down as well even if they kept to riding on a Friday not as a much as a Monday of course but down never the less .people dont want guests and rr but at the same time want speedway on a Fri or a sat .sadly at the current time we can't have both .I expect this rule might stop at end of the season and then we can go back to people moaning about riders missing and rr again and asking why don't they do something about it .

The nearest Belle Vue went to going bust was there first year back at the new stadium as the crowds never stack up the want they needed to break even Friday or no Friday . The bottom line is nearly every fan said the biggest problem was not having the same 7 riders and teams being full of rr and guests ..but the moment they do something to change that the fans what to go back how it was ..you can't win

And that is the point..its been taken as a given that the change of race night is the sole reason behind the so called drop in crowds ..it looks like crowds are down general even if there race night has not been changed

Who's crowds ? Belle Vue have a had a bad start after moving but who else have these fixed race nights effected so badly ? plus we are only a few season into the season ..so to early to judge anyhow . The bottom line fans were moaning about riders missing etc so they done something about it .

People have giving plenty of cohesive arguments on this subject you keep trying to pan football is not one of them ..You and Rob have one thing in common the moment someone have another opinion to you the toys come out of the pram and you start running the forum down . Fans don't go anymore because the standard of riders has dropped ..sadly people like you can't grasp that .. there are not enough genuine fans who are willing to watch sub standard riders . The key is overseas rider ..Woffy is not a overseas rider ..most riders no matter what ride in there own league ...most people can live with the fact he can make more money in Poland and Sweden and does not ride here that is fair enough, but not turning up for the world cup and the British Title is not in most people's eyes .

Not sure he did not ride for the reasons he stated ..not sure he's back because of the investment but more likely that the final is l at his home track ..it's amazing that people just take in everything he tells them

Well yea .Nick Morris riders other clubs in the other league but swindon fans just look at him as one of there own ..i doubt anyone would care of he rode for Oxford and reading in the pl the next night ..the trouble with speedway is there are to many myths about why people don' go .

The facts are that Evans was found not guilty in two hours ..unless your saying that is untrue of course ?

One jury never had all the facts ..once the second did of course it only took them 2 hours after a 8 day case to clear him ..not sure you have to be Perry Mason or to be in court to figure out what that meant .

She made her way to the Hotel Room with out any help ..Yet again it was a matter of opinion if she was pissed ..looking at the amount she had drunk it was highly unlikely and she was in control of what she was doing, and quite clearly the jury agreed . It was a weak case and in the end justice was served ..sadly you have become a bitter loser as the case never went the way you hoped..

When was even showed with out doubt that she was not fit to defend herself ? that was all about opinion ...quite clearly the court thought otherwise as they returned not guilty verdicts once all the facts come to light .having bad morals and being found guilty of rape are two different things completely something that you and the likes Webster fail to understand The bottom is some girl thought It was fun to get off with some footballers then cry rape in the morning and try to cash in on it ...if that is your high morals your welcome to them .

Money does talk but there was no way money or no money that should have him guilty in fact the case should have never gone to court as the case was so weak . As for Webster she should have kept her nose out ..I hope she can do a better job at this than she did at speedway presenting as she was hopeless at that .

Yea he will staying at Torquay intill his houses are built on the football ground ...and then of course the new stadium won't be built due to elements beyond his control ..the same plot and outcome every time ...he always get's away with it you just wonder how people are in his back pocket ...will anyone ever take him to task and stop him ?
