Of course they care they are earning money .Of course most of speedway back in the day was bent with riders taking bribes ..that was mugging you off

You over rate how much riders care about club speedway in any era .. the bottom line is speedway riders ride for money and that means going hard on a team mate the next night in another to earn money that is what they will do

Yet again I never said I was happy with my lot .. fans were leaving a long time before doubling up started .. give me some hard facts that fans are walking away just because riders double up .. I can find plenty of Swindon speedway who don't go anymore and I doubt if any were ever worry that say Ramus Jensen rides for Glasgow the next day .

Not at all ..as I said ask any Swindon fan and they will you they don't care if they ride for another club in another league the next night .. just another myth that has zero credit . if you went you might understand . it's want you want it to be but it's not .

I never said how I wanted the sport I was just telling you how it is ..nothing wild west or not a team sport about tracking the same 7 riders each meeting . As I said it's not what the old people who don't go anymore want to hear

Crowds don't want to watch them so it really don't matter how many meeting riders have .. .

Fans don't want to watch individual meetings ran at club level .. Fans don't care if there riders double up or ride for another club ask any Swindon fan ..This year yet again has been another great year for nor use of guests. I think the El play offs had none and all teams tracked there 1 to 7 .. it's not what old and moaning fans want hear of course but that is how it is .

Based on what ? Swindon yet again hardly tracked any guests again this year .. not sure you see a better team in terms of sprit and commitment ..just another myth

Love a lot of what TR said .. quite clearly and quite rightly we can't keep the same 7 thou . What I don't like is rules that stop you tracking the riders you like with only one rider over 8 etc . Make a limit and let all sides work to that in any way they feel fit .

Well done to all at Swindon .. the club was run so well and all riders gave 100 % and looked like they cared for the club . The track was spot on most weeks as well . Sorry for the Positive message about speedway as I understand that is not allowed on this forum

So what is point about the final then ? you want the teams to fix the racing to make it close please explain ..have never been any finals in sporting history than were not close and the fans never liked .I watched nfl superbowl finals before they have been total crap .. Teams wanted to ride in different leagues is hardly new, even when speedway was at its height certain teams have wanted to ride at a lower level .and drop out of the top league . In poole case its just s Matt Ford having a big sulk because hes running the club poorly and his sponsor went bust and lost in the semi final so he made a massive bluff so he can try get racing back on a Wednesday night . I really enjoyed last night .biggest crowd outside in the uk outside the gp and thou not a good match for the neutral the Swindon fans love it and show how well a club can do at speedway if its ran well .

You said about the final being a bore fest ..did you forget that bit ? what on earth has that got to do with your point about teams being relegated ?

What do want the final to be ? you want Swindon to make it close ? Maybe Man city in the fa cup final should beat Watford by less goals . brain dead post .

What we need to do is lower the standard so even less fans come in … then get 7 low standard riders to form all the teams ride at weekends only . they would then become the new hero's to all the fans .. my uncle who is 87 said that he would love it as he would watch anything .

Yet again for the 5th time I never said anything about bringing top riders back .. I never seen a business that has the same plan for 20 years meaning that his stores close down one by one and losing customers every year but carries on doing the same . My business head tells me that I need more customers not less

Even when I tell you not to reply about it being viable you go and do it .. the point being make is that you keep saying that people don't worry about who is riding what is quite clearly wrong I don't need to ask people who watch Nl or championship I just look at the poor crowds that drop every year as the rider standard does . . one moment you say that someone never go's anymore because the uk is rubbish and then in your next post you say that other people are saying it's great . make your mind up ? No one is on about bringing back top riders back but to keep dropping the standard has clearly not worked and nearly every idea is to do the same again as its been for the last 20 years .

So if had Top division polish standard teams you thinks crowds would not go up ? please don't reply with your normal we not got the money because that has nothing to do with the point being made . Your mate is a poor example ..the rider level dropping is why the entertainment level has dropped . what I find so scary about speedway fans is the lack of understanding about the need for decent riders to bring the crowds in . of course most of them are really old and will turn up to watch any old rubbish

So wrong on so many levels I don't where you start .. you go wrong on the first point you want fans to come back . the simple is that as the level of rider has dropped and so have the fans . dropping the standard again is not radical and is not very different its the plan that has not worked .
