What we need to do is lower the standard so even less fans come in … then get 7 low standard riders to form all the teams ride at weekends only . they would then become the new hero's to all the fans .. my uncle who is 87 said that he would love it as he would watch anything .

Yet again for the 5th time I never said anything about bringing top riders back .. I never seen a business that has the same plan for 20 years meaning that his stores close down one by one and losing customers every year but carries on doing the same . My business head tells me that I need more customers not less

Even when I tell you not to reply about it being viable you go and do it .. the point being make is that you keep saying that people don't worry about who is riding what is quite clearly wrong I don't need to ask people who watch Nl or championship I just look at the poor crowds that drop every year as the rider standard does . . one moment you say that someone never go's anymore because the uk is rubbish and then in your next post you say that other people are saying it's great . make your mind up ? No one is on about bringing back top riders back but to keep dropping the standard has clearly not worked and nearly every idea is to do the same again as its been for the last 20 years .

So if had Top division polish standard teams you thinks crowds would not go up ? please don't reply with your normal we not got the money because that has nothing to do with the point being made . Your mate is a poor example ..the rider level dropping is why the entertainment level has dropped . what I find so scary about speedway fans is the lack of understanding about the need for decent riders to bring the crowds in . of course most of them are really old and will turn up to watch any old rubbish

So wrong on so many levels I don't where you start .. you go wrong on the first point you want fans to come back . the simple is that as the level of rider has dropped and so have the fans . dropping the standard again is not radical and is not very different its the plan that has not worked .

What match are you talking about with this little shower and the riders calling it off ? as I already explained it's common sense the bigger the meeting the more effort there is going to be to run it. if they had called it off you would had people on here saying modern riders can't race on wet tracks etc .

So if you were going to say 20k of your own money you would call the meeting off ? I doubt that you would as I said before speedway fans tend to have little idea of the money side of the sport . it's stands to reason once the tv is there and a big crowd is inside a lot more effort is going to put in to the run the meeting it's just common sense . with speedway fans you are never going to win to be honest they just moan .

Classic speedway fans thou ..don't ride and we would had got they all rode wet tracks in the old days etc etc

Not sure it was just about tv . the rain started at 7.10 with a large crowd already inside the stadium massive on wolves to get a match on . I think us fans sometimes lose sight of the money side of the sport and what impact calling off a match has .

it's amazing that such experts on planning etc always brings plans to table that are not ready or have no chance of getting the ok from the council . What is even more amazing is that they never made that mistake when it comes to the building of the houses , I just wish club would not make comment on how great is going to be when Osborne Clark put forward yet another false plan ,the fans are fed up with it. and quite frankly it's embarrassing .

Let be honest they would be able to no doubt part of there long term plan ..its amazing really get planning to build houses on the back of a new stadium being built but then the people in those houses stop it due to the noise .

Rain , wet track play off semi . Been here before tends to mean home defeat

Bar last year August has had more rain fall than October in recent years ...no one can judge when the rain is going to hit in the uk

You cant always tell if a match is going to be good or bad ..thou you can help yourself by putting the match on a better track Belle Vue etc .. You have to put the play offs on and you cant help if it's rains just before and during the meeting

Attendances might be the main reason but if you look at that its better to have the first leg first . If you get crushed in the first leg the crowd would be down for the second leg

Why do think they do ...why is it advantage ? simple question .. the final is a simple one as you can pick up the cup in front of your home fans but from a tactical view I can't any reason or any advantage .

Crowds were declined on a yearly basis long before domestic tv was televised . Speedway has always been first from the gate most of the time .

When you have no answer and are clueless on a subject name calling is always a way out .

Well of course they do as the best team ( higher placed ) rides the second leg at home .if the higher placed team rode the home leg first at home the stat would be the other way around .. so try again what is the big advantage
